Based on the reviews here, I called Min to replace the ballast in my fluorescent fixture. He quoted a fair price over the phone and I was really happy that he could get here the same day, it was way too dark in the kitchen. Even though I graduated with an electrical engineering degree I still went with Min for 2 different jobs and he has been amazing! I felt gave me an honest price and worked extremely hard while being super courteous to our family. In Covid times, not only did he wear his mask but also took off his shoes while diligently doing his work without ever complaining. We had a difficult situation of hanging a chadielier and Min not only delivered he went above and beyond to wipe off every single finger print. Min is a nice owner, but his prices are expensive. $300 to install a simple indoor wall outlet (no major wiring needed). Job took about 15 mins. Min is a consummate professional. His work ethic is second to none. We met him when we needed a charging solution installed for our Tesla. We were referred by a friend and were so impressed by his responsiveness, honesty and reliability. He not only completed the job quickly and for a good rate but did it even faster than he estimated. MK Electric is outstanding! I had several projects done by them in the last week and they are extremely prompt, professional, great pricing and very clean and precise in their work. I had 3 ceiling fans installed on my back patio, where non existed before. This required running electrical conduit, cutting drywall for the mounts and installing 3 independent switches. The end result is VERY clean and professional and zero wobble in the fans. Friends and family have already commented on how professional it looks. They also installed a pool table light, where one didn't exist before. They were very precise in measuring to ensure it was exactly centered on the table and completely level after it was hung. I'm not a big review writer but have to for Min at MK Electric. Had a new AC installed and when powered up, blew the inside and outside panel breakers. AC company said the issue was between the house and the main so outside their ability to fix (they only go the the inside panel). Called Min at MK Electric, explained the problem and he was here in an hour to troubleshoot the problem. Turns out the AC guys wired the AC shutoff (at the unit) as a hard short (mistakes happen). Min fixed the issue then waited for the AC guys to return for power up and checked voltages once it was running. I have got to tell you, Min is amazing!!! So much so in fact that I'm going to use him for commercial work in the future and anything I need at my house. You don't find people that are highly skilled, caring and willing to go the extra mile very often so when you do, hang on to them like they're made of solid gold! I finally got an electric car. So what's next? I needed an electrician to install a 240v outlet in my garage. I ended up receiving 8 different quotes from friends' referrals, Yelp, and HomeAdvisor. Some gave me quick quotes without even asking me questions while others gave me unreasonably high priced quotes. In the middle of that, I got a call from Min. He asked me a couple of quick questions. I responded, and he ended up talking on the phone about types of chargers to use, amp rates, and other stuff I hadn't thought of. Min wanted to make sure I wasn't trying to get more than I needed, although that could've meant more money for him. He explained it all to me in layman's terms. He gave me the peace of mind to know that he would be able to take care of my needs. When he arrived, he took care of me beyond my expectations. He even had to do some minor carpentry work. Even before doing that, we had to move a lot of boxes and tiles out of the way so he could get to the electric panel. He took care of everything from A to Z with a smile on his face the whole time. We had fun conversations as he explained the work he was performing. Over the course of the next 30 minutes, I learned so much about how electricity works in my house, I made a new friend, and oh yeah, I got a shiny new 240v outlet that sits in wait for my EV charger to come. Here's the bonus. I had a light switch dimmer that wasn't working in one of our bedrooms. When I told him about it, he asked if he could take a look.
