I must have sent him over 20 different videos from different videographers, and Terrence's work was the ONLY one he approved of. So I sent an inquiry and began our journey with Terrence and Suzi. They are 100% the BEST in the biz. The communication was always prompt. They had a variety of "experiences" to choose from that allowed us to choose a service that worked with our budget, and they had great add-on options. We went with drone footage, which I highly recommend to anyone getting married. We did an initial Facetime consultation, and then we also had an in-person meeting with Terrence closer to our wedding date. I felt like the entire experience was intimate and personal, and we could feel really confident about who we were working with prior to the big day. On our wedding day, Terrence and Suzi worked seamlessly with our photographer to capture our special day through each medium without getting in each other's way. They were so fun and positive and just all-around true professionals, and you could see how this husband and wife duo just perfectly complemented each other-- the perfect team! When we received our teaser film, I was ecstatic! It came out so well-- they're truly masters of video editing. But then our full-length video came out, and I was a wreck in the best way. I couldn't believe how beautifully it came out. It exceeded all of my expectations. It was so creatively pieced together-- they used my dad's speech as the backbone and so thoughtfully incorporated all of the details from our incredible evening to produce a heartfelt, cinematic masterpiece that reflects who we are and all of the love and warmth we experienced that day. And to top everything off, Terrence and Suzi are just two of the nicest people you'll meet. Lighten Films did our engagement love story film and wedding video (including teaser trailer). The entire experience was extremely positive. Terence is very professional in running his business by being very prompt in delivering his services and very easy to communicate with. I first met Terence on site at our engagement love story filming (my wife set it up and I'm so thankful that she did). It's not easy being filmed but Terence made us feel very comfortable and we really enjoyed the experience. I am so grateful that I hired Terrence to capture our wedding! He did a phenomenal job! To be honest, I did not consider hiring a videographer for our wedding as a necessity, but after viewing the videos that Terrence captured for us, I am so thankful that I did. It was completely necessary and knowing what I do now, I would have regretted not hiring Terrence for the rest of my life. Our wedding went by so fast, but we have a beautiful summary video, raw footage, a toast video, and a ceremony video that lets me relive the best day of my life forever. Not only was his work product so great, but I also felt that interacting with Terrence at our wedding made my wedding experience even better. He has a friendly, bubbly personality that is infectious. I felt like he was one of my friends, and I really enjoyed talking to him throughout the day. We laughed a lot. He gave us very clear instructions and was very patient when I kept getting distracted. He was also very prompt to respond to me via email whenever I had questions, which is a plus because I was a destination bride. I really appreciated that Terrence worked with my needs and my budget. When looking at videographers, I experienced several rude vendors who would not work with me because I did not fit their "vision" and/or I could not afford to pay for their very large team of videographers and photographers. Terrence, on the other hand, never made me feel badly about my decisions. In summary, you need to hire Terrence! If we have a vow renewal, we will hire him in a heartbeat.
