There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

Project 150 is doing far more than providing clothing, food, school supplies, hygiene products, and other essentials. They have created a model of service that protects the dignity of every young person who walks through their doors. That matters. What impressed me most is that this organization understands that real impact is not measured only by what is given, but by how people are treated. Every interaction reflects compassion, respect, and genuine care. It is clear that the mission is lived out by the people behind it, creating an environment where youth feel seen, valued, and supported rather than defined by their circumstances. If you are looking for a nonprofit to support, volunteer with, or partner alongside, I cannot recommend Project 150 enough. An investment here is an investment in the next generation. As someone who once needed the kind of support they provide, I know organizations like this can change the trajectory of a young person's life. All she had to do was explain the mistake/rules in a nice and respectful manner. I overheard others talking about the rudeness from her as well.

All that being said I'm a guy who has been homeless ten years that went there seeking help. Also I asked my case worker for help with funds for my replacement ID. He suggested that I should sale some of my food stamps. They say they help with housing. They directed to the local homeless shelter stating they reserved a bed for me. When I arrived they had no bed for me. Thank God I called my insurance and they got me a bed and also helped me with my ID. I'm sober 90 days today by the grace of God. But In debt nearly two grand thanks to Las Vegas stronger.

But the real highlight was The Summit, the giant 70-foot climbing structure that spans all three floors with 12 levels. I was surprised how well our 2 and 3 year olds handled it! They climbed the levels with no problem, exploring different challenges and interactive spots at their own pace. It was great to see their confidence grow as they went up and down. They also enjoyed the water play area (smocks provided still recommend a change of clothes) and some of the imaginative play zones. We spent about 2.5-3 hours there, and it felt like the perfect energy-burner in air-conditioned comfort a lifesaver in Las Vegas! The museum is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's very stroller-friendly. Admission is $15 for Nevada locals with valid ID and $20 for non-locals (kids under 1 are free). We went on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded, which made chasing the boys around much easier. Helpful tip for families on a budget: If you have a valid EBT, SNAP, or WIC card, you can get admission for just $5 per person (up to 4 tickets per adult cardholder cards must be shown at entry for verification; in-person only).
