A few of their regular employees are no longer there and the ones who are there are not friendly. Thrifting is a fun hobby - almost like a treasure hunt, but whoever is pricing the items in the store have priced out of the thrift store range and more into boutique level shopping. I will still support them and their mission, but their changes have discouraged me from being a weekly browser.

The movers arrive and they are told that the item can't be unloaded because Pop's Attic no longer had room for the item that I was told only the day before to bring. Then they called me and I was told that the piece was damaged. It was NOT. It was in excellent condition. I used to love visiting the shop because it made me smile. If I receive it by Friday, I retract my previous review and would give them 3 stars instead of 1. It should not take almost 3 months to receive payment upon sale. We were told it could take up to 30 + days from sale to receive payment. We were told that the three pieces that were consigned sold at different times thus the extended time frame for payment. Otherwise, everything else was ok in dealing with this firm.

Not all of the space is used but that's nice because it keeps the store from feeling cramped. I got a perfect pair of pants that I needed for work and a shirt for only $6. Like the pants I got, a lot of clothing is new with tags or near new with minimal ware. The quality of all their clothing is excellent but this small detail makes me want to return in the future. I really appreciate that the store seems to always have sales going and that students and seniors have discount options. My only negative is that the store is near silent and they don't have music playing or anything. It felt a little eerie when I first walked in but after I got adjusted it wasn't bad. Overall I would highly recommend this place and likely will be returning with friends.
