The woman who answered the phone answered my questions and made a recommendation based on our issue, crawling bugs and not flying blood sucking bloods. We made an appointment and waited for that to come around. Simeon showed up early which was nice. Immediately introduced himself and explained what he'd be doing for us that day. He worked in a manner that seemed to me to be thorough and well thought out. He was also very respectful and clean, he didn't trek buddy boots or equipment through the house and even made it a point to ask if he could use our garden hose to fill a tank he was using. It was a very easy and pleasant experience, I am confident in the job they performed and definitely recommend Skyway if anyone sees some critters running or crawling or flying around their house.

So i got 2 ten foot pieces of 3/4 inch pex pipe at home depot and used that to remove 2 nests myself. I hired a guy named Alberto (516-343-6419) for the critter guards and he had no issues and didn't need a safety harness. He charged only $600.00, then said he could do stainless steel leaf guards for $300. All done in less than 4 hours.

Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family.
