Love it! Food is always great. Service can be a little slow but it's a small mom and pop stop and they are priced to love!

Unbelievable service and food! My husband and I came in for…read morebreakfast today, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. I was looking for something with beans and originally ordered the breakfast huarache, mistakenly assuming it was a burrito. I prefer flour tortillas over corn, which started a whole conversation about how the dish is prepared. First, our waiter went to the kitchen to check on modifications, then a second waiter kindly came over to explain the traditional preparation, and finally, the chef himself came out to help! He explained that a huarache is open-faced, not a burrito, but immediately offered a perfect solution: he could custom-make their breakfast burrito using pinto beans as the protein for me instead. When the chef brought it out, it was HUGE. He took the time to explain exactly how he made it and told me to just ask for him or request the modification next time. Not only was the service incredibly attentive, but the burrito was easily the best I've ever had. It's 9 hours later and I am still full from eating just half of it! The food is amazing, the restaurant is clean, and it's clear this team truly cares about their customers. We will definitely be back!

Since I'd not been here before, I ordered my favorite dish, the enchiladas mole. It's pretty good here at Rancho Chico and the little edible corn bowls for the rice and beans are so cute. The salsa was very tasty and bonus, the chips arrived warm. Id like to return and explore the more on the menu.

Stopped here while on a road trip. It was a relatively average Wendy's experience. For context, the…read moredining room was empty and there were a few cars in the drive-thru line. They did take a bit to get our order out, I think because they were making new batches of some items like nuggets & fries. It was a noticeable wait considering there weren't many customers present. Fortunately, everything came out right and hot. The food was tasty and hit the spot. The staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of while waiting.

After placing our order, we were also told to move forward, though there was no one behind us. We literally waited for our food for 25 minutes. At one point, we backed up to the window to ask what was taking so long. They said there were lots of people in their lobby. I checked and they were not that many people. We asked if we could stay at the windows and no one was behind us, but the lady snapped at us that it would mess up her drive time. That seems disingenuous since we still waited just not by the window. When she finally brought us our food, she insisted that we move our car forward, 3 feet to where she was standing to hand us the food. When I complained about the wait she insisted again that their lobby was full and was very rude to us. To get those when we got our bag, it was missing the ranch and ketchup that we had ordered. So we backed up once again to the window. Another lady gave us ranch and said they had to go find the ketchup. The snotty helper went to find catch up for three more minutes, but we finally just left without our ketchup.

Among the four of us, two ordered the Texas Style Beef Brisket Platter ($27.99), and two ordered the Pulled Pork Platter ($21.49). I had the brisket with my two sides being baked beans and Mac n cheese. The interior is open air with mostly booths and a bar in the middle. I imagine it can become a little noisy when it's filled with people, but we had arrived early so there wasn't any issues with noise. Our server was polite and friendly. She put the coffee on fresh for us. She checked on us several times during our meal. I loved my brisket. It was tender and moist and very good! I added some sauce to my plate for dipping. There were 4 sauces to choose from, but the two I enjoyed were the Mustard BBQ, and the Chipotle BBQ. Both had some heat which added some great flavors to the brisket. The others all enjoyed their orders as well. Mom loved her pulled pork, and she had a great time. We all went home where cake, ice cream, presents and birthday cards awaited her. Thanks Smokey Bones for helping make Mom's birthday special! 5 stars!
