I rarely ever use laundromats so I'm not sure if $15 to wash and dry a blanket (that my washer and dryer at home can't handle) is a good price. It feels like a lot. And they also tag on $2.50 for credit card transactions. First of, I don't like businesses that pass on their CODB to customers. Second, why can't we just use a credit or debit card on the machines without having to buy their own card and put money on it? It's not the most customer-friendly thing to do. This laundromat is a hidden gem! Lots of newer washers and dryers, including some that can clean 8 loads of wash in one batch (or in my case, huge comforters). Very spacious interior and outdoor patio sitting area. Plenty of parking in front and back. Snacks and drinks available (and a toy machine for kids.) Three notables: 1. This place is nice and clean, 2. It's safe because there's an on-site attendant, and 3. The owner Gus is very friendly and helpful. Machines did a great job with my over-sized comforters. There is an attendant at location to assist you if you need help and to keep the laundromat running in an orderly fashion. The machines are modern and there are washers of various sizes to meet your needs. These machines are card operated so you must purchase a laundry card for $1. After that, you can just add cash to your laundry card. That simple!! No more annoying coins! There is a television to watch while you do your laundry. There is also a snack bar to purchase snacks in case you get hungry. There are arcade games for the kids to play. The washers vary depending on the loads starting at $6 for 3 loads. The dryer price starts at 50 cents per 10 minutes. The hours are 7:00am- 7:00pm. Ample parking! Great place to do your laundry. read more

I used this laundromat for years, but I will not longer go there due to the owner's refusal to repair his machines. There are dryers that have been out of service since before COVID. None of the standard washers work. It is sad because it is clean with a patio area and well lit. I just can't continue to support them until repairs are made. read more

I haven't done laundry in public in like 5 years but Gus (attendant) made it so easy!!! I showed him exactly how much clothes I have to wash and dry and he estimated exactly the amount of funds I needed on the reusable card down to the penny. I would say that's pretty amazing! He even pointed out which washing machine I should use for the best bang for my buck! I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely go back here when I need to do some public laundry! This was my first time at the Lighthouse Laundromat. Gusto was very helpful. He asked if I was coming back? When I told him I don't know, he didn't have me buy a card. He helped me determine which machines to use. I paid Gus and he used his card. It was nice to have someone onsite and to be able to ask questions. This has to be the cleanest Laundromat that I have been too! No smell from the machines. No trash or spills on the floors. Plenty of clean folding tables. Nice patio to sit and wait. read more

Such a positive experience! I came here with two medium sized rugs with out any rubber backing that needed a through cleaning. Everything was clean and easy to use and all the instructions were very clear. The customer service was a 15/10, the man working was so helpful and kind. Friendly staff. Very nice and clean, and there's space to sit and wait for the load. Only thing is if you need something from behind the counter or want snacks, they will charge you a $2.50 transaction fee if you pay with card. They just want cash. Was my first time going to this place and right off the bat, not sure if it was a worker or the owner but he was extremely rude to me. He tried to explain that I had to buy a laundry card for a dollar which I understood, but I had thought I could buy that with my credit card. He kept looking at me as if I was deaf or something and gave me attitude which was not needed. I left to my car to get my laundry bag which and when I came back I caught him talking behind my back to another customer who I assume is a regular. Not bad. Honestly it's my first time going to a Laundromat! It's very clean. There are different machines, 1 load size too loader for 2.00, 3 load washer for 2.75, 5 load washer for 4.75, 6 load washer for 6.50, 8 load for 8.50. I'm unsure of the real sizes since I usually have two loads worth and I just stuck it in the 5 load washer and it all fit ! Remember to look at the top right for the amount of soap you need if you're not using the 1 load size. Regular wash took 30 minute for the 5 load washer. There are two sizes for the dryer, one regular size for .25 per 9 minutes or a big one for .50 per 9 minutes. I opted to split my clothes and use the small dryers! Over all not a bad experience. Also, I forgot to mention it cost a dollar to get a card so you can load money in. Then you'll reinsert it in and add your bills in (1,5,10,20)! There's also free wifi, it does look a little sketch when you pull in though. But it's nice inside! Edit: apparently it's 10 pounds per load! read more

This used to be THE place for me. Free WiFi. A cute patio area and an attendant on site. I drove here from Fullerton even after seeing recent reviews that many many of the machines are out of order. It's true as of last week. The cheaper machines ($4) are out of order with exception of one. The other machines are available. But prices are pretty much double where I came today in my home town. Big mistake. Wasted money in my opinion. Gus IS super nice. But adding money to the card from my debit card cost an extra $2 and I underestimated the amount I'd need so I had to do that twice. That's the same cost of washing a load in their regular washers. Just ugh. Their location is clean. Quiet and has a working tv with general programming. When I was there the olympics were on. Overall not a great value for the price in my opinion. read more

if i could give this place negative stars (-10 stars). do not go to this laundromat. i highly recommend you, not to step foot in this place. it's so dirty. extremely expensive to wash here, the washers and dryers are older than dirt. half their washers were broken. i walked in yesterday with my son, mind you the place was empty. except for the two people who work there. i notice the lady who worked there with red hair just staring at my son as he loaded the washer. she turns around and ask me if im finding everything okay?? it's a laundry mat what would i be looking for other then to wash my clothes. she starts to follow me around the corner where i start to load my clothes and continues to watch me and says dont overload the washer. i replied are you the washer police as she continue to stand over me. she replied if you overload they will leak. i had just started to put my clothes in the washer. as, i held my towels over my arm as i was "not going" to put them in the same washer with my regular clothes. then the man says "oh no", you can use that washer, you need to use the bigger washer. wth ?? at that point i was over it and so was my son. i told my son lets go these people are rude and their laundromat is disgusting. the man started to yell at us and told us to get out and go find another place to wash. metiches!!!! so we left and found the cleanest laundromat with all new washers and dryers and way cheaper!! read more

I've never been to a Laundrymatt where theres VIP service. On top of that extremely clean, theres a little snack stand, a patio, tons of comfy seats. The machines are great and the owner will walk you through how to use everything. Prices are fair for the amount of clothes each machine fits. In the past I have had my bedspread cleaned at the cleaners over a number of years. However, cleaning has gotten so expensive, I decided to wash the bedspread and the mattress pad. When I came around 8pm, there wasn't a time posted so I asked what time they closed. I had a feeling 10:30pm was too good to be true lol. They attendant let me know that it was actually 9pm that they were closed. After talking to her and showing how much I was planning to wash & dry (which was very little) she worked with me and let me stay over closing time and kept reassuring me that I didn't need to rush. She also knew every machine really well and helped me get everything done. Honestly, I appreciated the kindness so much so I'm giving 5 stars for just how helpful and willing the attendant was to work with me although she had every right to kick me out. read more
