This was my first time at this laundromat. I was looking for a location near me that had large washing machines to wash two large floor rugs. From the pictures, I could see that they had the right machines. When I arrived, it was a little crowded, but very efficient. There were only two of the largest washing machines that I thought would be appropriate for my rugs. They have QR codes and an app that you can use to pay, which was convenient because I did not have any quarters or cash. The machines were awesome, easy to use, and did an amazing job at cleaning my two carpets, one of which was an outdoor carpet that was extremely soiled. I use normal liquid detergent and softener, and these machines cleaned the rugs better than anything I've ever seen. On another note, there seem to be only one employee working, which I didn't even notice at first because he was dressed as any other patron. Once I got settled in, and as there isn't much to do while you're waiting for your laundry, I noticed that this gentleman was not only working there, but he was running the place and keeping it looking meticulous he was going around nonstop cleaning the top of the machines the outside of the machines the inside of the machines lint traps, the floors, everything! Not only that, but this gentleman was also helping out anyone looking lost, do the drop off laundry, and tending to drop off customers and customers picking up. I hope that he is the owner of the successful business, or at least being compensated handsomely because its worth ethic was unmatched. I know it's just laundry, but I have been to many laundromats and this is the cleanest and most well run location I've ever been to. I will definitely be back even if it cost 10+ dollars to wash a couple carpets. read more

I came here recently to do laundry and I was pleasantly surprised. Who knew laundrymats didn't have to be sketchy, smelly or super expensive! This place was not crowded, very clean, and not too badly priced. Our laundry took less time than at other places, it was clean, and we had no issues with the machines. Almost didn't want to review it to keep it under wraps but it's too good to not share. They offer drop off services as well. The attendant there on Saturday was professional and kept cleaning several times while we were there. The place is small but everyone there was courteous to each and mindful of the space they were using. Overall a good experience, would definitely come back! read more

I've been coming to WaveMAX Laundry on 1st Street in Tustin for a while now and have always had good experiences. However, today I had a very disappointing interaction with an employee (Jessica). I arrived at 6:35 PM to pick up my clothes that I dropped off yesterday. As soon as I walked up, she locked the door and went out to her car. I approached her and let her know I was here to pick up my clothes. She told me, "I can't talk with you right now," and said she would be back at 7:07 PM. I politely asked if she could hand me my clothes before leaving, but she repeated that she couldn't talk to me and rolled up her window. I completely understand and respect that employees need their breaks, but the way she spoke to me was unnecessarily rude. The price for washes are affordable, there's no cash involved you just download the app they have. They have a point system for you to accrue points and use them towards your dryer time ! Theres been time where I have dried my loads for free. The time it takes each load to wash is less than 30 minutes. It takes me about an hour to wash, dry and fold my loads. Came in again today on my work lunch hour to wash some home decor items (from our pet-free home) and Sarah was super helpful! She was nice to the customers who happened to be there, including myself. She had helpful suggestions as to what cycle to use and provided me change/quarters, soap, washing machine guidance (dial settings, use of dual soap slots, and quarter slot success) and just the perfect amount of advice to get great results and my things sparkling clean. This is the only laundr-o-mat I have been to with a full-time genuinely helpful and attentive person ready and willing to assist, not to mention keeping the place clean. Other laundr-o-mats look like ghost-towns in comparison, but this place is full-service and takes pride in what they do. I decided to try out Louie's next door for a haircut as I had 25 minutes to spare during the wash cycle. Well, my most excellent haircut went way beyond 30 minutes. I had a great experience. I last came here a year ago to get the rugs washed. I came back to do the same and had forgotten how to use their machines. The attendant, Jeremiah, helped me by thoroughly explaining their system showing me the tricks to get more for my money despite the fact that the place on Sunday afternoon was packed and many people had questions/requests/demands for him. He was patient and pleasant with everyone. The wash was efficient. The rugs are clean. The machine was just as good as last time. Cost: very economical. I had hoped to spend the rest of my Laundry Wallet ($7) but Jeremiah would let me. Instead, I only spent $4.50 (including an upgrade). I guess I will have to come back to use the rest of my wallet. I needed to find a place near where I was located and found this place on Yelp. It had great reviews but I was skeptical after reading people say that they have never had their laundry come out feeling as clean as it did after going to this laundry mat. I didn't think washing machines could make that much of a difference but boy was I wrong. You truly will feel the difference in your clothes. It is unbelievable how these machines work. Hands down the best Laundry spot in OC. I would also like to point out how helpful Jim and Jeremiah were for me on Sunday. They literally went out of the way to make sure I had everything I needed and answered a few questions about laundry I never knew about. Do you know how many times I have had issues and never even heard back from places. Here you nave one of the owners there helping you. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. The only thing I worry about is that it maybe busy at certain times, but what do you expect when a place is that much better than the competition. Thank you both for all the help the other night. Wow, what a pleasant surprise to see a very clean and efficient laundromat. $2.50-5 per load depending on size. Dryer is $0.50 cents per 14 min. Best thing is, you can download the app, BUT they also provide a coin machine in the back which was great, as I only had a Ruggable to wash. The machines are also high powered and faster than some other places and I believe they even have a water softener system. Rug came out like new! read more

I've been going to Wavemax for the past year and the facility is clean and they have several washers and dryers. I have also used the fluff and fold services and Alejandra and Raquel are both kind, professional and do a great job with washing my loads. They come out smelling good and soft. Unfortunately, I had a recent experience last week with a new worker (guy) who didn't wash my loads as good, my linens weren't soft and I questioned if he used enough soap. This is probably the best laundromat in the OC. I started coming here when my laundry machines in my apartment were broken. I moved out of Tustin to Anaheim and I still make my way over here to do my laundry. The app is so convenient and I never worry about needing cash for quarters. The app also has a point system so I often dry for free. If not, drying costs less than a dollar! There are limited machines in the building though, 16 washers in different sizes and 16 dryers. I haven't had a problem finding a machine but I usually only have 1-2 loads. The parking is also limited because they share parking with other establishments. There is usually parking on the street. Everyone working here is always so nice and helpful. It's always clean and quick, laundry only takes about 1 hr to wash, dry, and fold for me. There is plenty of seating to wait and three folding areas. read more

Hands down the best laundromat in OC. Clean, state of the art technology that's not only cost and time efficient, but better for the environment as well. Bathrooms are always immaculate. The owners are extremely kind and generous and by the way they interact with their customers and run the facility, you can tell they really care about their business which is a huge plus. It's the reason a lot of people keep coming back. My favorite thing about WaveMax that sets this laundromat apart from others is that they have a QR code/pay from your phone feature as well as a rewards program. This means no quarters needed!! Literally what other place offers that? Super convenient and the rewards incentive is a really good businesses model. This location is smaller than other laundromats in the area, and although I do live by three other laundromats that are a 5min walk, I would rather go out of my way to come here because of all the things it has to offer. Since they've opened they've been picking up a lot more business (great for them), so it does get swarmed during the evenings and weekends. Limited parking available, although there's alley parking and the option to park in the neighboring plazas to the right and left of the one WaveMax is in. Best times to come would be anywhere before 3pm. However, even when it's busy the turnoverfor a new washer or dryer to open up isn't too long of a wait. It's worth it in my opinion. 11/10 would recommend. We need more laundromats like WaveMax! read more

Great place to wash! Always clean, 16 washers in different size loads with large dryer machines. My only complaint would be to limit the amount of washers being used by a single person during peak hours, too many times I come in and one person is using 5-6 washers at one time. read more
