Having been laid off, like so many others in my area, I added my name to yet another employment placement service... you name it, I belong - or have belonged - to it. When I came across Lighthouse, I didn't put much hope into them as they seemed small business & virtually unknown. Did my in house interview with Brian (nice guy) and left thinking, "well, there's another one down." Then Nancy called me. I remember the first call & interview I had with her quite well. She was upbeat, positive, professional, and genuinely seemed to care and understand me. I gave her my lowdown of having very little formal education, as most of my training has been on the job. This did not seem to bother her in the least. From then on, I couldn't get away from her. She was calling me at least 2-3 times a week with job opportunities. I received a call from Nancy about 9 months ago about an opportunity for a printing software company in Palo Alto, CA.
