Attended a 2 year old birthday party this weekend at Lil' Kickers and it was adorable! We were greeted by the very sweet staff who pointed us to the direction of the birthday party. They set up a huge bouncy house for that was really the star of the show. The kiddos had some much fun climbing and jumping around on there. The indoor fields were also open for us to run around on. Most of the kids were still pretty little, but they really enjoyed running around and kicking the balls. We would love to bring our son back here for lessons once he's a little bit older, but for now it's an A+ birthday party destination! read more

Took my daughter here today for her 1st grade classmate's birthday party. The place is huge and divided into 4-6 sections for different parties. Each group is assigned a coach depending on the number of kids. Our group had 2 coaches and they were great. They kept all 20 or so kids engaged, active, and entertained. They were organized and had a whole lot of energy to match those of the 6-7 year olds! My daughter had a great time. This is an awesome place to keep your little ones active and burn off some of that energy. read more

We're just wrapping up our first session of Lil' Kickers at Bradley Place and enjoyed it so much that we're already signed up for the next one. Lil' Kickers takes place at many different locations throughout the city. At first I was on the hunt for an outside location so we could enjoy the lovely weather, but Bradley Place was the only location that offered morning weekend classes...and my husband wanted to be able to go. The inside class turned out to be a blessing since it's been way too hot to do much outside this summer and I'm sure my lil' one will love running around there this winter. She's in the youngest group of kickers (18-24 year olds). When I mentioned to a few people she was taking "soccer" they asked what a 1 1/2 year old did in soccer class. The answer: some bubbles, parachute, red light/green light game and even a little kicking of the soccer ball. It's really just an opportunity for them to run around in cute uniforms with other children. And more importantly it's an opportunity for mom and dad to rest when they take a really long nap later on from all the running around. Speaking of those cute uniforms I was a bit skeptical when I first saw pictures (we're an all pink clothes household), but have to say all the kids look too cute in them! It makes for a really great photographing opportunity each week. Based on my experience I highly recommend signing up your lil ones as soon as they are old enough to play "soccer." read more

I've decided that I need to deduct a star for two reasons: 1. this program is for kids. However, the parking spaces in the parking lot are SO CLOSE TOGETHER that you can't easily get kids in and out of the cars. It's damn near impossible to do so without your car door banging into the car next to it. 2. They advertise classes for kids as young as 18 months old. Great! However... there isn't a diaper changing table in either of the bathrooms. How many 18 month olds do you know that are completely potty trained? Hmmmm... Repaint the parking lot and throw in a changing table and I'll give you a perfect review! read more

Buyer Beware! This is NOT a legitimate soccer program but an over-rated children's play center with coaches who have zero soccer experience. My neighbor invited me to watch her sons soccer class as we just moved here from Ohio . To be clear I was not dropping in or coming without scheduling as I was coming without my children to check it out before seeing if we wanted to do a free trial / seeing how safe the facility was taking COVID regulations. She asked the coach prior to the class and he said it was okay for me to watch as the no drop ins rule was more for the COVID regulations total child count on the field. I came 10 minutes later and at first I was excited because the facility was clean , safe and full of little soccer players in their cute uniforms. I was curious about possibly enrolling my son and asked the soccer coach about the program. The soccer coach couldn't answer my questions about when they learn the rules of the game (free kicks, penalties , throw-ins etc) or how the whole process worked with soccer experience & classes. When I asked the coach about his own soccer experience, he verbatim told me he had NEVER played soccer before but that was fine because the kids didn't really play soccer here but played "soccer like games " . I was shocked by the nonchalant attitude because imagine paying all that money for a "soccer coach" who has never played soccer. It's fine for parents who just bring their kid to have fun but very misleading for parents whose kids had prior soccer experiences. read more

We've taken soccer classes there for the past few months, and my 4 yr old son liked it so much we decided to have his bday party there. The classes were always great, and we've loved our coaches (Chava especially was fantastic with my son). But we were blown away by the bday party today! Anna and Scott were beyond helpful, and everything ran SO smoothly. We had 14 kids ranging from 2-10, and somehow everyone seriously had a blast. Highly recommend the lil kickers party- Stress free for the parents, and so much fun for all kids. Love how they end it with the inflatables! Thank you Anna and Scott! read more

This was my daughter's first interaction with a coach, students and sharing with kids her age. She started at 3.5yrs. I absolutely love lil kickers at Bradley. They are so friendly and inviting. My daughter quickly opened up to them and has made so much progress. She started in cottontails and is now going to start micro. The lessons they teach and how they go about teaching it is remarkable. The patience, energy, understanding. I can't say enough about lil kickers. Her 2nd teacher, for Hoppers, Coach Ana, is such a sweet coach. My daughter looked forward to seeing her because of how silly she would act while teaching them lessons. This year Coach Malik has been amazing as well. He plays with them as a group and takes the time to individually help a student if they're feeling shy, tired, frustrated whatever the case. Toddlers are crazy active. At 2.5 years old, our son loves to run, run whatever the weather. A number of our friends and work colleagues suggested putting him in soccer also known in mommy circles as "herdball." After getting a beat on spring registration, we enrolled our dude in a class. With a number of locations, we lucked out and got one not far from our house. On a weekend morning, we join lots of other parents with kids outfitted in soccer uniforms to play the game. For our son's class, it's about running up and down the field, learning to stack cones, and some basic ball techniques too. His class has parents involved as well, so both my husband and I run around with him. Unlike his swim class last summer, he doesn't want to leave soccer time. He's very tired after class too which is a big bonus. Though Lil Kickers is a bit pricey, the location, activity, coaches, and other parents we meet are awesome. Our son talks constantly about soccer and what he did in his class. For us, it's been a worthy investment having him a soccer class. read more

I love lil kickers, but probably not more than my little monster. I've attended 2 different locations and love this location. It really depends on who your child gets as coaches I think. Some are more patient than others, and love that at least one is patient with mine. They do have a bounce house that's open for before or after class during the week. read more

They just opened this place recently, we've been going to the Wicker Park location, which was at the gym in the Park and although it was very convenient it was a bit run down and, well, the kids are playing on a gym floor, so not the best and acoustically a nightmare...read: LOUD! This facility is brand spanking new and aesthetically and functionally outstanding...really about as much as you could ask for. All of the coaches do a great job and keep the skill level and pace age appropriate. If your child wants to move up a skill level mid-season, no problem, you just advance them and go from there. What a great place for a birthday party. The people who work here are very organized and professional. Our party was at 3 pm, I showed up at 2:45 to set up and the other party was still there, I was a bit concerned, but was quickly relieved by how quickly they were able to wrap it up and clean it up for us. Great place for boys and girls of all skill levels! We have been coming here since it opened over 6 years ago and still love it. The classes are great and always run by instructors who love both soccer and kids and know just how to get them moving and keep them engaged. We had 2 birthday parties here that both went smoothly and all the kids had a fantastic time and parents were happy to see them active and smiling the whole time. Amazing coaches who will quickly learn your child's name and make them feel special right from the start. Our son is almost 10 and still comes here for the 9-12 yr old skills clinics because they are so fun for him. Lil Kickers coaches do an excellent job combining conditioning, soccer skills and scrimmage training for all ages. Great place for a toddler to release energy! The teachers are great with kids and patient. The kids receive a kit upon registration.

We've been coming here two years now. When my son was two this was the BEST program to keep him engaged and listening. All the coaches we've had have been great with kids. Teaching them listening skills, taking turns, and playing well with others. The only negative I have about this place is the turf. I found this sweet place because my son goes to the swimming school in the area. I was a little hesitated when walking through the door because my son is asthmatic and running is not highly recommended. But i felt in love with the place instantly. The staff was very friendly answering all my questions and concerns. I signed my son up for a micro 4/5 trial class and he loved it so we registered right after. This is a great place for kids to actively learn and play, and in my son case, to improve his health! read more

Natalie S...........could you be any slower? Lil Kickers is a magical wonderland of fun and physical fitness for my kids. My son Ciroc adores everything little kickers and his coach Chris. I really hate when people talk poorly about such a great organization. 1) There are four bathrooms in the facility. Natalie, you would not know that because you probably never get up and go further then 2 or 3 feet to relieve yourself. How could a facility that holds 200 children at a time only have 2 bathrooms? FYI the two bathrooms near the lobby have changing tables. I was their first customer so I know it been there since they opened. 2) There would not be a problem with parking if everyone could figure out how to drive. I have and SUV and I park there all the time. The problem is that parents running in late to class don't know how to properly park a car. Again if you park towards the rear of the lot and WALK 30 more feet you should not have any problem. The biggest problem at Lil Kickers is the parents that come and make life difficult normal parents not to mention everyone around them. Not everyone is cut out to be a parent. I remember once a mother complained that her 20 month year old bumped her head in the lobby. She complained and complained. I felt really bad for the poor chap at the desk. I wanted to yell at her, "WATCH YOUR KID LADY AND MAYBE SHE WON'T GET HURT!!" Ciroc sadly has not been able to do a class at the Bradley Place in a few months. We miss coach Chris but I am glad to get away from all the crazy moms for a while. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about this organization. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They are beyond helpful when you miss a class letting you make up the class. My kids have been coming for two sessions now and really love it. The coaches are super patient and give each kid attention which could be tough with 6-10 kids but they are great. The sessions can be a little long (10-12weeks I think) but still worth the time. read more

We love Lil' Kickers. My son has been going to Lil' Kickers since he was 3 1/2 he is now 8 yrs old. He has also been working with the same coach for the last 3 1/2 years. Kujo is his coach and deserves a shout out because he is awesome with kids! Even those with special needs he adapts the program to work for them too. The focus here is working on skills. 75% of the class time is spent focusing on developing skills and the last 25% of the class they play soccer. It really cuts down on frustration levels for the children. We have tried other programs such as AYSO and to be honest the parents at AYSO are so competitive and annoying it stress the parents out. The coaches who are volunteers often do not show up. I could go on and on. At Lil" Kickers you get the real deal. Real soccer players teaching the kids, parent attitudes must be checked at the door because there is no tolerance rules all over and the staff turn over here is very low. I have seen the same people there since the day we walked in! read more

This location needs to add space to meet growing demand and get better staff. It's almost impossible to get in a class at this location on the weekends if you are a first-time member, and their online registration system is faulty as my son was registered for the wrong location, which I then had to get a refund -- only to find out that the person who handled my refund cancelled another child's registration and had to do my refund twice. Our 22 month daughter is in her second class by lane tech. We really love it. Nice facility and professional. They just did some more remodeling which will make it even nicer. We do want to say that coach Gomez is awesome. He is so great wih all the kids. He even remembers the names of the kids from previous session. He does a great job structuring the class for the toddlers (also keeps he parents organized). Price is pretty good for the length of sessions. read more
