Its hard to drop him off, I want to get out and participate in the activities.Where to begin...well first off its super well run by a well-trained friendly staff. They help with everything including applying sun screen at beginning of the day. Kids are assigned to a coach with same age kids, and let me tell you these coaches are hand-picked- super nice, love kids and know their sports. You can tell many of them play elite sports themselves. The camp is well programmed with different themes each week- basketball one week, Olympic week the next. Competitive but in good way. Lunch is really good- food kids like to eat like Popeye's chicken, pizza, and Fridays they grill hot dogs and hamburgers for the kids. Pickup and dropoff is fast and easy and location right off the highway- or there is bus pickup from many Northside locations. We moved to Park Ridge but Jack insisted he attend camp regardless (he met his best friend there) so Mom and Dad take turns driving him an hour each way sometimes (so worth it). They have a great photog who sends out super cool videos each week. Field trips to Cubs games and water parks. Its so great we usually sign him up for most of the the summer, and take advantage of the early bird pricing before January 1st each year. We cannot wait for the camp to start this summer, its hard to imagine a summer sports camp as good at this one. Its hard to summarize it all here but if anyone has questions, please call or text me at 773-805-9305 for honest straightforward info.

They genuinely looked forward to each class, which says a lot as a parent. The coaching staff is truly outstanding. The coaches are enthusiastic, patient, and amazing with kids--they made my children feel supported, encouraged, and confident right from the start. My kids absolutely loved their coaches and felt comfortable learning and trying new skills, even when it was challenging. Beyond just having fun, I've seen real growth in both of my kids' skill sets. Their coordination, understanding of the sport, teamwork, and confidence have all improved significantly thanks to this program. Hi-Five Sports does an excellent job of teaching fundamentals in a way that's engaging and age-appropriate. I'm so grateful for the positive impact Hi-Five Sports has had on my children, and I would highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a fun, supportive, and skill-building sports experience for their kids.

The staff is phenominal and I have been so impressed. I have a shy girl who although loves camp, always wants to check for her friend at drop off and they know the drill and always help her find her (so many activities rooms it can be hard to find campers if they have already checked in.) They have made her feel welcome and safe and it has been a pretty easy summer having her go to camp full time. I love the express check in the night before - my daughter loves selecting her food for camp the next day, and loved the food. She had the option to get a school lunch at her school this year and always wanted me to pack her lunch, but for Steve and Kate's I have never had to pack a lunch which is honestly one of the biggest perks for a working parent. The amount of activities they have for kids and the level of learning really surprised me. My daughter learned how to crochet and sew this year and was so into it. She loves the crafts, bread baking (which is actually such good bread - I have eaten it if she shares), and so much more. It has been a great experience for both my daughter and us. Will definetly go back next year and can't say enough good things about this camp and the West Loop location!

My son attended daycare/preschool here at Little Inspirations. It was absolutely wonderful. Staff was fantastic, programming was outstanding, the meals were homemade and smelled amazing. Exactly what you would dream to get from any place for your little one. We attended Tot Lot and Nature Club, both aimed at toddlers. Both fantastic. My son is mad every Wednesday now because he has to go to Kindergarten instead of doing more Nature Club. We do afterschool care a couple days a week, and also sometimes send my son for the school vacation day programs. (It is so incredibly helpful to be able to sign him up for fun programming on week days when their is no school! And luckily it's fun enough that he doesn't complain about going!) I as a parent have done caregiver fitness classes (I really need to start going again!!!!) I have also played badminton.

I got a pic with him too! The breakfast was well organized, in the gymnasium, with stations for pancakes, coffee/tea, blueberries/whipped cream/syrup, and bacon/sausages.

It then moved to 1 class for the monthly fee. This is a little pricey considering the fees for the other studios in the area that offer adult classes. If you took ballet as a child and want to get back into it and grow, I would not recommend this studio. The training of the teachers they select for this class is wishy washy. Sometimes they have teachers that are professionals or former professional dancers, which is great. Sometimes they have teachers that trained as a dancer so they took ballet classes, but ballet isn't their thing, or in the case of 1 person they would use to sub doesn't even like ballet. I signed up for ballet. I don't want a hip hop fusion or jazz, but ballet. There doesn't seem to be any mentoring of the younger teachers so they can grow and develop. I don't see the younger students exhibiting studio etiquette. Also not sure if it's even taught to them. When I was a young student, when the class ended, you needed to gather your things and leave and the class helpers made sure you were with your parent/guardian. There's a lot of lingering so the next class starts very late, but still ends on time, so we are cheated out of time and money. They also need to be more transparent on their money practices. They would sometimes randomly cancel class or breaks in the middle of the month, with no mention of giving a credit unless you specifically call or email to inquire. If you don't inquire, they have no intentions on offering a remedy.

It takes 30 extra days after you cancel your membership so they can charge you one more time.

My daughter started there at 3 months in the baby class, and progressed through 3 rooms, to the 2 year classroom. Ms. Kenecia, Ms. Jackie, Amr, Ms Gladys, and Ms.Charlotte who care for babies up to 2 years are all fantastic. Loving, attentive, caring and communicative. We never had an issue until we arrived at the 2 year old classroom, and experienced two instances of neglect and verbal abuse of our daughter. We addressed the first incident with the director, and a teacher was moved out of the room. Then, we continued to see new teachers in our kids classroom and they'd never introduce themselves and we were never notified. Multiple parents voiced concerns, we started to have teacher bios printed on the doors, but those would not cover the revolving door of additional teachers we'd see every week. Some days we'd drop our daughter off and there was 2 teachers for multiple classrooms at 830a, nearly an hour after they opened. The last straw was another parent alerting us to a teacher yelling at our child outside and telling her to "shut up" and "stop crying" and that "she was the problem." She's 2 years old! We, along with many parents, reached out to the director following this and though she verbally communicated her apology, she did not speak to either the teacher who yelled at my daughter nor the teacher that was present. We've reached out to the regional manager to also voice our concerns but made the decision to pull our daughter out of the school because at this point we are concerned for her wellbeing. Parents beware.
