He loves what he does, is very knowledgeable, pleasant to talk to and shared a lot of nice stories about the outdoors. He is definitely an asset to Circle Bar Stables. For anyone booking try to go on his tour!! The nice gentleman that answers the phones is very sweet, I had to call several times to change my tour and he was so helpful I can tell he has been with the Stables a long time and loves being there. When I arrived I was the only one and he told me to go walk around while I was waiting I guess he read my mind. I had to take off 2 stars because of the Gentleman from Texas that works there. He honestly seems like he hates his job, he asked me several times if I was on a horse before and I told him give me any horse I'll be fine. He chose AXE and while he was bringing him over to me AXE was being a little stubborn and didn't want to come not because he didn't go on the trail but he was uncomfortable with the Texan. What bothered me most was he said "AXE STOP BEING A JERK" which made me really upset and uncomfortable. I don't like it when people wok with animals and call them derogatory names.

You have the waterfront and beach. Right when you drive in, there's parking on both side. The lot out front is a paid lot which I believe is 3.00 per hours. If you continue to drive through, there's a lot there that's free I believe. It's a hit or miss in that one as it tends to get utilized first. Along the waterfront are some restaurants which I highly do recommend Brophy's Bro and the Santa Barbara Fish Market. If you love seafood, this is your place. Pretty much everything is near each other so you don't have to walk far. Liquor store, realtor, public restrooms, shop, and a few other businesses. But if you continue walking on the path along the water, it leads you out to the walkway and jetty. It's a beautiful strip so it's definitely worth checking out. At the end of the path, you're literally right across the pier. A small beach depending on the time with the tide. Regardless if you're there for the beach, harbor, a meal or just taking it in. This place is quite nice. Nothing crazy but a nice views of boats and the waterfront. The path along the front will lead you to and from downtown. If you like a nice walk, that'll be pretty or a nice bike ride. Regardless where you're at, it's a nice place to just take it in.

I would have loved to have options of some kind, we were served whatever meat they wanted to serve. These tacos were not authentic and definitely were not filling, we all were starving when we left. We definitely did more walking and talking than eating and drinking. Would definitely say, for the price, you're better off bar/taco hopping yourself. If you're staying in Santa Barbara, be sure to check the weather for Santa Ynez - it ended up being about 10 degrees warmer up in the valley on the day we visited. We stopped at 3 wineries as well as a farm stand style olive oil place. At two of the three wineries, the winemaker themselves led our tasting.
