During our first appointment with Maureen, our child began using the same signs that we were unsuccessful in teaching. Considering that our child is very reserved around new people, this was quite a feat. He started seeing Akiko twice a week, and over the past year, his language skills have improved exponentially. He's now at the point that he can tell us about his day at pre-school and answer questions about his activities.
