She was recommended to us by a casual social acquaintance who is herself a speech therapist. We asked our acquaintance if she would be our therapist but she wasn't comfortable taking on clients she knows socially, so she instead gave us three names of speech therapists she recommended highly. We decided to try Linda and are very glad we did, since we have been extremely happy with her. Her rates are reasonable, she is professional while being warm and friendly, and she has gotten great and relatively quick results with both of our children. Importantly, they like her. We would recommend Linda to anybody.

We started baby sign at 9 months, but our child did not sign back or use speech in any meaningful…read moreway. Our pediatrician recommended speech therapy at the 18 month checkup. During our first appointment with Maureen, our child began using the same signs that we were unsuccessful in teaching. Considering that our child is very reserved around new people, this was quite a feat. He started seeing Akiko twice a week, and over the past year, his language skills have improved exponentially. He's now at the point that he can tell us about his day at pre-school and answer questions about his activities. Everyone has noticed the dramatic improvement in his language skills and his confidence has grown as well. Going to Shoreline was often the highlight of his day and he continues to ask to see Akiko despite graduating recently. We're very happy that we selected Shoreline for this journey, and we recommend them to you as well.

The on-site PT and OT, along with the skilled teachers and staff, eased any concerns we had about her learning to use the parts of her body affected by CP in ways that could be harmful to her growth. She made incredible progress not only socially, but academically as well. The care and dedication of the teachers, team, and directors are truly evident in everything they do. Our daughter has since aged out of the program, but we miss them so much and remain incredibly grateful for the impact they had on her development.

She saved us during the pandemic when I was…read morestressing out about my 18 month old not speaking and not signing, with no way of seeing therapists in person. She was the only one who responded to me since clearly, the pandemic has done a number on many other babies/toddlers as well and every speech practice was slammed. I found her through Yelp as well as personal recommendations from other parents so I already knew she was dependable and trustworthy. On top of that, she is personable, funny, and most importantly, responsive. She reached out to Kaiser's staff speech therapist on our behalf in order to get us switched over from the vendor we were originally referred to, which was such a lifesaver because if you have any experience with Kaiser, you'd know you can never get in touch with anyone directly. She got everything sorted for us and within a couple of weeks (which again, is super fast in Kaiser world), we were scheduled to start Zoom with Ms Amy. We loved her but Zoom with a taby (toddler baby) is what it is - limited. But we were hopeful about more progress in-person and had hoped to continue with Ms Amy once STP reopened but the scheduling just didn't work out. We were a little nervous and hesitant to go with Ms Reanna in person but omg looking back, it was all wasted energy. My taby loved (still loves) Reanna passionately (sometimes to the point where I wonder if...more than me??) Ms. Reanna is just the perfect mix of fun, discipline, and patience for her. She is firm when she needs to be (which was often back then) and is silly and creative when the session allows for it. We have been going to speech for almost 2 yrs and have seen other therapists (who have all been great as well) at STP due to scheduling but she will always prefer Reanna. We went from having fears that she would be non-verbal to now not being able to get her to stop talking. She just will notstoptalking lol. And as a parent, that is both joyful and stressful but I digress. The tools that we have learned at STP and the people that we have met here are worth staying up and writing a long review about. Because Julie and her team deserve all the credit and accolades. Most of all, they deserve to know how much their clients appreciate them and they deserve more families to love on as well.

She made his sessions very play-based so he didn't even realize he was practicing and strengthening his mouth/tongue. Each time she would bring her special bag with new games/toys and she kept my son engaged the whole time. During COVID we had to move to Zoom lessons and I was amazed at her creativity in finding virtual games to play with my son to keep his attention - not an easy feat! We have done close to 20 sessions with Layla and we have seen great progress. My son very rarely drools now, he can say his F, S, SH, C, and G sounds now which was impossible for him before. He has made incredible progress and Emalee is currently helping us explore surgical/orthodontic options that hopefully will allow his progress to continue. She continues to pursue her own skills through research and trainings and goes above and beyond to make sure that her clients are getting the best possible outcomes. We have another son, who had a more minor speech issue. She was able to resolve it within a just a few short months and his speech is perfect now. Despite multiple emails and voicemails--most of which have gone unanswered--I've received almost no communication. Erin spoke with me once during my initial outreach and seemed open to working with my insurance, but since then has consistently ignored my follow-ups. Even my care advocate has tried reaching out and hasn't heard back. Every few weeks I get a brief response, only to be ghosted again. At one point, Erin offered to remind me of the pricing--when I agreed, I never heard back. I had high hopes for this practice and have been transparent about how important these services are to me. But the lack of communication and follow-through has made it clear that patient care is not a priority here. I'd recommend looking for a practice with dedicated staff who can actually support new patients through the onboarding process.

I came here because I was having trouble with some communication speech issues after a concussion. I learned so much about my own brain worked and what could be done to help. It was a fun process getting my brain to rewire its communication. They use a variety of games and things to watch while I was hooked up to the equipment and I found it relaxing and fun. The professionalism and the level of caring for the patients is great and the team here will help you with your brain goals whether it is better learning and retention with school or recovery after any kind of injury, they do a great job.

They have extensive education in childhood development so not only do they keep them safe and well cared for, they are teaching them and exposing them to new experiences and the kids learn so much. When the weather is nice they walk to the park. But they also have a very nice outdoor space in the backyard as well. I live very close and so sometimes I would drive past as they were walking, or at the park. They have the babies in a wagon strapped in, and the walking toddler "big kids" help push. I love that they got such great exercise. The owner's husband is their "coach" and always brings fun toys (big trucks, remote controlled cars/planes, etc, soccer balls) for them to play with. They teach and the kids learn independence early on. Like dressing/undressing themselves, putting away toys, etc. I could go on and on, the daily pictures, the little stories they would tell about funny things my son did or said, it all adds up to them actually loving your child, which is priceless.
