We hired her to help with our AirBnB turn over: we needed someone to clean the house, wash the sheets and towels, get the rooms ready for guests, and generally make the house shine. We tried other cleaning services, but they would leave things undone. Joselyn not only keeps every surface dusted and shiny, but she sets out flowers fresh from the garden on the coffee table! When she cleans the house for us personally, and not for guests, she puts out our own towels and makes sure that our personal effects are in order. (Once, she stayed all day to make sure all the laundry was finished.) Not only that, but she is super prompt and very responsive. I can text her at any moment. She even wished me a happy Mother's Day this year, with a sweet little e-card. It's not very often that you find an organized, responsive, thorough, friendly, and generous with her time and energy. Since my schedule is not consistent, having a cleaning company that is amenable to this schedule is such a relief! I've never used a cleaning service before taking the advice of other friends and hiring FRC. They really do a great job, and communicate with me via text if there are any problems or concerns while they are cleaning. I trust them in my space completely. I pay them via PayPal, which makes it so simple, and they give me invoices so I can have records. Prices are super reasonable and they will come take a look and give you a free estimate. This year we installed a grid of Tesla solar panels and PowerWall so we could make use of the clean energy tax allowance. I felt just a little out of my depth and with 'significant' tax liability the last thing we wanted was to mess up our filing so we did not get the full benefit of the credit. I discovered J & S on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. Hugh was so easy to work with, friendly and approachable, and highly capable taking our best interests to heart. I've never seen a more complete and methodically assembled tax filing and he discovered errors in one of our previous year's filings which we will be refiling for since we are still owed a refund. This tax year we are looking at a very sizable refund from our taxes and we are a peace knowing it was all done correctly and nothing we could have benefited from got over-looked. We won't be doing our own taxes from now on but will depend on J & S to take care of our tax filing needs.

I had recently come off from Active Duty with the Air Force as a Personnel Specialist and was presently serving as a Traditional Guardsman in Air National Guard. My intent was to be hired by UNC-CH as a permanent employee. I worked for 6 months as a SPA HR Manager in the School of Dentistry and I transferred to the School of Public Health, Dept of Environmental Engineering for 6 weeks, covering for someone on medidcal leave, handling departmental personnel transactions. That September, I was interviewed and hired as an Administrative Assistant III, managing a couple of grants and several pharmaceutical clinical trial contracts, managing several members of the research team, and overseeing the group's administration. Everything worked out for me. I had regular access to Karen R. and she was responsive and supportive on every call. I don't know if something happened after I left, but I had a great temp experience at UNC-CH and would recommend it as a mechanism to work and bring in regular pay while searching for regular employment.
