My boyfriend and I worked with Chantal and she is the best hands down. She's kind, funny, and pushes you while understanding your limitations. We only did two 30 minute sessions a week but we could see and feel a difference in our body composition and overall confidence! The results would've been even more noticeable if we worked on our diet more which she also provides with nutrition coaching. We would've stayed with Chantal forever if it wasn't for us moving to the bay.

I sighed up online, tried to schedule an appointment, had to miss it because I work 9-5 out side of town. Scheduled another appointment for Saturday at 10. I've spent 23 minutes waiting for someone to help me finish setting up the membership I already paid for and can't use till I get the access key. No one picks up the phone. You get texts that seem to come from a real person but they dont respond when you've scheduled the appointment. Can't enter the gym unless you have the access key. Probably the worst example of customer service I have experienced simply because I haven't received any. I've paid for this membership for almost two weeks now and haven't been able to use it once simply because ANYTIME fitness doesn't have ANY customer service or prioritization for onboarding on new members. I've called multiple times, not once did I get a call back, not even durring business hours. It's ridiculous to have someone pay for a service they can't even use temporarily. I didn't even get a free trial pass. If the office isn't open on weekends, then why allow scheduling. If some members can't make an appointment, why require a first time visit if your reps aren't even going to be available to provide assistance. It just makes no sense to me as to why it has been such an ordeal for me to try and out health first for once. By the time I'm writing this review I will have been here for almost half an hour with no kind of assistance. No text, no call, no app assistance. This experience has really discouraged me from using gym services, especially this gym and I was excited to become a member since it's 24 hours and they have many locations and amenities and I would have been happy to share a positive experience if I had one. Please. I just wanna work out any time I want. Not wait in membership limbo for the off chance I see one of these elusive representatives. Still waiting for my appointment when I post this too. Will be canceling. I have no choice. I'm not gonna pay for something that I can't use. New clients should be wary of singing up. I have worked in customer service for nearly my entire working life and I have never encountered a service that has such useless customer service protocol for the real working class of Tracy. Not even a live or ai chat box in sight. No signs life in the physical office, no call backs, no emails, not even a letter. Just a total waste of time, effort and hard earned funds. I will be canceling and seeking a full refund as no service towards my personally paid membership was met with follow through on the business behalf. They had a full business week to return my multiple calls and did not. Edit: I've attached their cancellation fine print. I've already sent my cancellation e-mail, looks like this gym I'll be a bigger ordeal than I thought. Next steps are finding the owners and finding out why this is so difficult.

First of all they lock you into a very aggressive yearly contract with no real benefits or cost savings. If something comes up (like moving) they refuse to drop it and will continue charging you until they think your "notice" is enough. Second off all the population of the gym is heavily male, and many women (including my wife) felt it necessary to move equipment into a closed off area to exercise (which I saw multiple times...being invaded by men). Forget personal training here, they're looking for 100-150 an hour, I wish I made that much working.

I am not against lessons, however when one is paying to use a pool you can not use is unfair. More than once I was billed for a month when my membership was on hold. I called both times. Both times I was told they would correct the error. They never did. I had a disability...I asked if they could install a handle in the changing room and anti slip for the floor. Not just for me but other disabled people as well. A year passed and that never happened. There was black mold in the hot tub. I reported it and was assured it would be taken care of. Several months later it was still there. I am a senior and my medical includes free membership to a gym. This facility was not on the list so I called the medical facility. They said they would contact them regarding being added to the list. A year later they are still not on the list when all other In-Shape's are. I tried to cancel membership. I could not do it with the ap. I called. I was told I had to come in in person. I did that. They said they would charge me a cancellation fee plus they charged me one more month of membership fee. They also made me cancel my hold and then prorated the month so I had to pay fully for each day to the end of the month. Oh not to forget about stolen shoes and clothing.

However, the classes I need have become much harder to book at the times that work for me, and the studio is also a bit of a drive from where I live. I was already planning to switch to the Manteca studio once it opens, but I didn't realize that I would need an All Access membership to attend different Club Pilates locations. Because of that, I decided to cancel my membership at the Tracy studio. I understand that the membership agreement requires a 30-day written cancellation notice. I prepared a cancellation letter, printed two copies, dated it July 26, and personally delivered it to the studio on July 27. The employee at the front desk told me there was nothing she could do and that I needed to send an email instead. I explained that the cancellation policy states the notice must be in writing, and I was aware that my membership would continue through August 27 because of the 30-day notice requirement. I asked her to simply sign and date my extra copy of the letter as proof that I had delivered it. She refused, saying she would make sure the appropriate person received it and that someone would email me. As of today, I still have not received any confirmation that my cancellation has been processed. It's disappointing because everyone was very helpful when I was signing up, but the cancellation process has been frustrating and lacks communication. This experience has made me question whether I want to sign up at the new Manteca location, even though I was looking forward to it. Oh and I also sent an email.

I recently joined them for their intro class and felt very welcomed and didn't feel pressured to purchase a membership I wasn't comfortable with. I can't wait to take more classes here and am looking forward to the schedule expanding to include more times and options as the studio grows. Although they just opened, the schedule gets booked out quickly. Make sure to park on the Starbucks side of the parking lot to get to the front of the studio - the back door is usually locked!
