A week later, they reply and said they are sending out written letter of verification of employment. I said WHAT ? We are not at that stage of underwriting so I was confused. So we then get a call from their network "realtor" asking if we wanted to look for a home. I asked realtor "um where do you suggest we look for a home in Los Angeles County for under $400,000 ?". The realtor said nothing - I said, how about a vacant lot in the Mojave desert ? The realtor said she knows something about Southern California realty so tried to apologize.
