MUST TRY: Akhbar Mishti flavor…read more Ambience: Spacious seating area with a screen showing FIFA matches. Flavors: Lots of options, including some unique flavors. Price: Comparable to other popular ice cream places. Taste: Absolutely loved it! I've been to their other locations before, but this time I tried the Akhbar Mishti flavor, and it was amazing! It was loaded with nuts, making every bite rich and flavorful. The single scoop was surprisingly generous too. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend trying this flavor. I'd definitely go back for it!

Nice texture to the gelato, bold punchy flavours, creamy but still light. Service is fine, but they get busy and there is a wait. You get in line, pay for what quantities you want first, then take receipt to the counter to taste and pick your products. They also have a coffee/affogato bar with boozy options, some cookies, cakes, gelato sandwiches, and some on a stick. There is street metered parking nearby. The shop itself is clean, bright, modern. A few places to sit but most people take out. Reliable and consistent which is why I keep coming back. Pricing isnt cheap but its in-line with other gelato places. theyre a solid 4.5/5. Not quite 5/5, but definitely better than a 4/5.

There are some nice seating options near the fireplace, which can feel pretty cozy. An OK place if you want a quick fix, but not if you want decent coffee. The espresso drinks themselves are pretty watery and under extracted, from my experience.

They have selections of pastries and their coffee, I always drink it black, taste good with no strong after taste. I was on my way to the Christmas market next door but I decided to spend time here to work. I ordered the Apple Crumble. It's crunchy, doesn't taste like it's been sitting in the display case for days, or weeks. Sweetness is neutralized perfectly by the bitterness of the black coffee. They have 12oz as their regular size. I had to say that because I noticed that some places now are just serving 8oz, which is too small, then I don't have any choice but to order the larger size 16 oz. 12 oz is my sweet spot. The place has always been clean. They have a nice, long bar type table in the middle. Ambient music is just right. Perfect to have conversations while enjoying your coffee. The place is bright, not depressing. Service is fast and baristas are polite. For parking though, you have to park in one of those paid ones. Cuz this is a tourist spot so they regulate it. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to have coffee in.

The fellow behind the counter works hard and probably owns the joint. The food is good but nothing to write home about but it's fresh and cheaper than the stand inside the Quay. I ordered the Nutella crepe with bananas for myself and the Nutella crepe with strawberries and ice cream for my husband. The cook dedicated thoughtful preparation to making the crepes, but it took 15-20 minutes and with an impending hotel checkout, it is not the best option for a quick breakfast. To the chef's defense, I'd rather have him take awhile than slop something together. Crepes are meant to be savored. However, the timeliness resulted in crispness and the crepes were difficult to cut through with the plastic utensils and plate provided. The overall taste was fair. As I watched the preparations, I was disappointed to see the final product topped with Smuckers brand chocolate. Higher quality ingredients would do a crepe good. Sadly, I allowed this place to charge an extra $5 in the currency exchange. I attributed it to tax and a tip, but in the end, two crepes with fruit (and one with three little scoops of ice cream) should not have cost $25 CAD. Be conscious of conversion rates ahead of time and allow at least a half hour - 45 minutes to eat if you're going to come here.
