My family and I have been seeing Dr. Aller for nearly 20 years, and I can honestly say he is one of the most exceptional doctors we've ever had the privilege of knowing. I first brought my son to him when he was six years old and needed glasses. From that very first appointment, it was clear that Dr. Aller is not just an optometrist -- he is a true advocate for his patients. He is incredibly professional, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about his work. He has done extensive studies, to help his patients see better, and you can feel that expertise in every visit. He takes the time to explain everything, makes sure you understand your options, and never rushes you. In fact, he once stood up to his own practice partners on my behalf because he felt I wasn't being given all the choices I needed for my vision care. That level of integrity is rare. His staff is always friendly, welcoming, and organized, which makes every visit smooth and stress‑free. Even after he moved offices -- twice -- we followed him without hesitation. And even after we moved an hour away, we still make the trip as a family because we trust him completely. Over the years, he has watched my children grow from little kids into young adults. Mosaddegh Eye Institute is not really a medical practice, it is more of a medical assembly line. There is nothing wrong with someone being ambitious and wanting to build a successful business, but this, after all, is a medical practice, and personal attention to each patient HAS to be more important than making a profit. This clinic books their appointments SO tightly that in most visits you will have an hour wait. So, after you put in your hour or hour plus and assistants give you whatever tests you are scheduled for that day, you finally get your 5 minutes with Dr Mosaddegh. It's a bit more like the Dr. Mosaddegh show, as she will be talking to her AI powered talking computers asking for this and that detail that the computer spills out, BUT she never really takes the time to explain to you what is going on. From my experience there are three in attendance at these sessions...there is you, Dr. Mosaddegh AND Dr Mosaddegh's ego, and that ego takes up most of the space. I was willing to put up with all this as I was coming to the practice for routine eye exams, and I was not really having any ongoing problems with my eyes. It was a convenient location, they seemed to have all the necessary testing gear, so I was willing to put up with my negative impression of the doctor herself. The turning point for me was when out of clear blue I got diagnosed with NPG...normal pressure glaucoma. Instead of getting a clear understanding of my diagnosis and what the treatment would entail the overall communication I got from the Doctor was "there was some reasonable chance that I might go blind, so I was lucky to have her as my doctor, as she was so good at what she did, now because of my kind of glaucoma there were limited tools she had to keep me from going blind but she would try her best" Now these were not her exact words but it seemed to me she was going out of her way to give me the worst possible scenario, and that I should be grateful I had her great skill to save me. First medication she put me on was going to cost over $400 for a one-month supply (even with my part D Medicare insurance), but it turned out there was a generic at almost no cost. After about 9 months I got a terrible allergic reaction, and had to stop taking the drug. For some reason she waited almost 5 months to start me on another drug. I asked as to whether this new drug was a generic or was it going to be expensive like the first drug I got prescribed. Mind you I am a low- income senior just scraping by so this is a BIG issue. Dr. Mosaddegh says to me, "it shouldn't matter what it costs if you don't want to go blind". At that moment it was like I came to my senses and realized just what kind of person I was dealing with and I knew in an instant that I would never see this doctor again. Luckily this drug had a generic but I did a deep dive into local glaucoma specialists and got the earliest appointment I could get with a very well-reviewed Ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma Dr. George Tanaka. I had my appointment just a few days ago. I got a full round of testing and inner eye photography the whole nine yards. My session with the doctor reminded me what a real doctor's appointment should be like... you know useful and direct information and actual empathy and was not a rushed 5 minutes and the doctor actually seemed to really care about me...imagine that. THE RESULT FROM ALL MY TESTING WAS THAT FROM A CLINICAL POINT OF VIEW I DID NOT EVEN HAVE GLAUCOMA. He took me off the medication Dr Mosaddegh put me on, and will follow up in about 6 weeks to see where my eye pressure is at and make an informed decision after that. So perhaps if you have an extra 4 grand lying around for a dry eye treatment or like your eyes getting looked by someone who can also do your Botox injections and beauty treatments, then this practice might just work out fine. If you are not troubled by the fact they will try to sell you overpriced goods at the front counter such as $60 eye vitamins which are basically Ginko Biloba and Bilberry root, this could be your place. However, if you have any actual serious eye condition, I would not recommend this practice and in fact suggest you get the heck out of there just as fast as you can. I have no direct experience of a procedure done by Dr Mosaddegh, but my guess is at the very least, she is not as good as she thinks she is ;O). There is something out of whack at the core of this practice and I think that goes right to Dr. Mosaddegh herself. From my very first visit, he identified that I have dry eyes and provided helpful tips to manage and improve them. He always takes his time during exams and is thorough in evaluating my eye health. Dr. Aller is a caring and dedicated doctor who truly prioritizes his patients' well-being. Rocio, his receptionist, is super friendly, and everyone in the office is always helpful and welcoming. I share this with great disappointment and hope it is helpful to others. It was a truly unfortunate experience where sacred trust was violated. I visited Dr Mosaddegh after call from her office for a standard eye exam. At the appt, was informed I was in need of cataract surgery. The appointment proceeded with a preliminary exam at her West Portal office and proceeded to an in depth examination by her staff and presentation of all available options (surgery and lenses) at her Post st office. After conclusion of both appointments, met with the Dr who clearly informed me that, given condition of eyes and examination, all surgical and lens options were open to me and to make the decision and set surgery appointments. Right eye first and left eye week after. Both appointments were set. I called 2x to request and confirm exact time. Her office also contacted me couple of days prior to reconfirm. I returned from my travels in time and specifically for these appointments. I was also instructed to have my primary conduct an evaluation to insure I was suitable for the surgery. This was completed and all was OK. 22 hours before the appointment, doctors assistant called me to indicate the doctor would like to speak with me. We set a time between noon and 12:30 for the call. Got call at 11:45, catching me another meeting, but took the call. In the call, the doctor informed me that unless I opted for the laser surgery at a cost of $5000 ($2500/eye)she would refuse to do the procedure. Also suggested, strongly, to opt for higher priced lenses. Her explanation was vague and indicated something to so with shape of my eye with strong emphasis on "I want to do what is right". This was in direct contradiction to original assessment and advice and at the proverbial 11th hour. When I indicated, the $5000 would be a financial challenge, her offer was to offer financing and maybe not do both eyes (though presumably needed by her own statements and examination) now but to do one eye now and possibly the other later, year later. This put me in an uncomfortable position of doubting the doctor's advice and feeling this was more about $$ than suitable medical care. I informed her I would be seeking another opinion. I contacted my primary doctor who reviewed data and referred me to a SF renowned ophthalmologist who upon careful examination informed me that my eyes did NOT meet the criteria for cataract surgery at this time. Furthermore, this doctor recommended against laser procedure for this procedure. I was advised to monitor vision and re examine in 1 to 2 years and continue with the eye exam that was due. I would need cataract surgery down the road. In fact, given current eye condition, surgery would not have qualified for insurance coverage. While relieved at the outcome, reinforced my consternation and dismay of my experience w/Dr Mosaddegh. Seemingly, she had used her position as a doctor to recommend unnecessary surgery for financial gain. read more

This is for Dr. Aller. Do not see this man. My husband had a wonderful experience with him. I did not. He had no problem with me waiting nearly an hour for my first appointment. I was escorted to an exam room after a 30-minute wait, and then waited another 30 minutes while he spoke with another patient, a teenage girl, for an extended period. I highly recommend reading in between the lines on that one. He clearly saw that I was waiting and said nothing about his delay when he entered the exam room. If you've ever been in a room and felt someone directing intense dislike toward you, this was my experience with Dr. Aller. He didn't even have to say anything because I could see the evaluative way he looked me over before sitting down to start a paper file, like it was 1805. He reiterated several times that my declining eyesight was the result of aging - that I needed to accept the reality that my vision wasn't great and that I was getting old. Hilariously, he said, "Sorry, no one else has shared the bad news with you," at least three times. Okay? My vision has never been great, and I'm well aware that my middle-aged light blue eyes are getting tired of witnessing the plights of human existence for more than a few decades. I've experienced enough aging between recognizing my mother's face in the mirror and buying every possible hormone replacement. Anyway, thanks for pointing out that my age numbers continue to advance, Dr. Aller. The thing that sent HIM over the edge occurred when I asked for a handful of repeats during the refraction tests. He couldn't handle whatever internal disturbance he experienced after receiving a request to conduct his job with accuracy. This appointment was not giving fun for either of us, I guess. Two insanely bizarre healthcare moments unfolded as we neared the last third of the appointment. I want to reiterate that these two experiences are at the top of my personally weird healthcare experiences. This is a statement of merit because I work in healthcare. (1) He opened fresh lenses and put them in my eyes. What? Yes. I wasn't expecting this. Would you??? He didn't ask if I wanted to put them on...you know, as you would normally do at an eye exam. I am still speechless about this. It felt so invasive in a way that I cannot explain. Putting a contact in a patient's eye doesn't sound concerning, but I never consented to having his finger invade the surface of my eyes or body. He gave me a subconjunctival hemorrhage from this. Eww. (2) He gave me a random mix of lenses. I tried one pair of lenses at the office and clearly reported that they wouldn't work, but he gave me a seven-day supply and told me to go home and adjust. He also gave me several single lenses to try, as one left lens and two different right lenses. They weren't even the correct prescriptions. Someone, please, tell me why it makes sense to provide single unpaired lenses to a patient. Who walks around with a single contact lens with an inaccurate prescription? Unsurprisingly, the samples didn't work for me. You are shocked, right? ***Breaking news*** I had to make a follow-up appointment for a second attendance at the Scary Man Eye Circus. Was the follow-up appointment better? No. Cue the long wait with no explanation again. Cue a hateful and condescending attitude expressing annoyance that he had to repeat the exam to find the correct prescription strength. Isn't this a key aspect of his job? I hate driving anywhere, but would spend five hours of a workday to consult someone who doesn't appear like they are thinking about eviscerating me with disgust lasers. Anyway. Don't consult Dr. Aller unless you want to ruin his day for me. read more

This place is such a mess. I visited her West Portal location There are 15 people in a tiny waiting room, and staff has absolutely no urgency to help anyone. The doctor Mosaddegh is the main holdup, and I saw her multiple times just lazily flipping through files and wasting time. There was a lady actively coughing and sick in the waiting room, and chairs are 1 inch apart. No one saw me for 30 minutes, and then I had to wait another 15 minutes for the doctor The staff was actively laughing at elder patients that were having difficulties. One patient had gotten her prescription at the other location 2 weeks ago but didn't have it with her, and they were clearly laughing at each other at her misunderstanding the process. Another was receiving information about insurance companies not covering the laser for his eye surgery. I feel like this information should be given in a better way than a random receptionist trying to explain it to you. The eye doctor is nothing special and not worth feeling like cattle for an hour They have no problem springing charges on you (ex. $70 fee for better imaging) instead of informing you ahead of time. Do not come here! There is no reason for them to be scheduling that many people at the same time. Complete lack of respect for the customer. read more

I have high myopia that used to worsen rapidly year to year, but under Dr. Aller's care it has significantly slowed. There was real concern about increasing eye length and long-term vision loss, so seeing things stabilize has been such a relief. Dr. Aller is incredibly kind, patient, and easy to talk to. He never makes me feel rushed and always takes the time to explain things and make sure everything is done properly. You can tell he really cares about his patients, taking a proactive approach focused on long-term eye health. His expertise in myopia control and research in the field is clear in how thoughtfully he approaches care, always prioritizing prevention and long-term outcomes over simply prescribing glasses or contacts. I also brought my kids to him because of this expertise. One hasn't developed myopia so far, and the close monitoring gives me real peace of mind. My other child is on a tailored treatment plan, and we're hopeful it will help prevent or reduce the need for glasses. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, caring, and truly focused on long-term vision health, Dr. Aller is the one. read more

After waiting for over an hour and an upsell of every service, I saw Dr Mossadeh for less than 5 minutes. She mainly tried to sell eye drops and her services instead of talking to me and explaining what is going on. She also was scaring me into seeing her twice a year instead of once. My rheumatologist told me that I only need this test once a year and she insisted that he was wrong. I left this appointment feeling like I was being shaken down. Even though I refused second appointment 6 months later, her office still scheduled me and called me to remind me. I canceled and will never go back there again. read more

I'm sharing my experience so others can be aware of the billing structure before scheduling. In 2023, I saw Dr. Mosaddegh for an eye exam and treatment for a stye. The total charge for that visit was over $4,000. Recently -- three years later -- I received an additional bill for $350 related to that same appointment, which was unexpected and concerning. Dr. Mosaddegh did help resolve the stye at the time, and I appreciated that. However, I was advised to purchase a series of laser treatments to prevent recurrence. I was told this would address the underlying issue. When I returned for the first session, it turned out to be an IPL treatment similar to what I typically receive from my dermatologist, and it was not focused specifically on the eye area. That left me confused about the medical necessity and scope of the treatment being recommended. I ultimately felt uncomfortable with how the services were presented and with the billing follow-up years later. I would encourage prospective patients to ask detailed questions about recommended add-on treatments, medical necessity, and billing timelines before proceeding. read more

When I walked into the Mosaddegh Institute office on West Portal It was like a breath of fresh air. I was greeted with a smile and quickly invited to the examination rooms and most advanced equipment looked at my problem thoroughly. Then Dr. Mosaddegh came in and connected with me, looked over the results and treated my sagging lower lids with a new technique that didn't involve surgery, but was done in the office with little recovery time and I went home. Full of senior citizens which causes me to ponder what the scheme is here, does this doctor have an angle with Medicare / Medical? Disgusting waiting rooms cramped with people coughing and sneezing and many of these seniors can barely speak English. It's been two hours waiting in this cramped waiting room and still have not seen the doctor. This is a complete disrespect for people's time and schedules. I have been a patient of Dr Mosaddegh for over 2 decades. I have witnessed her and her team grow and mature over the years. She has been my opthamologist for this entire time and I have also seen her for cosmetic Botox, Morpheus 8, and must recently, as the skilled surgeon for my cataract surgery. I have always received exceptional care from Dr Mosaddegh and the rest of the doctors in her practice. I find her team to be friendly, helpful, and honest. At times it's true that I have had to wait longer than expected for my appointments but this has improved over time and is a lot better now. I also know that it's because she takes the time each patient needs and I want that for all that choose to trust her with their eye care. I cannot recommend her and her surgical team highly enough!! When I found out I had to have cataract surgery in both eyes last year, I left Kaiser and joined anthem so I could have Dr Mosaddegh do my surgeries. There was no way I'd trust anyone else. I was thrilled with the results and would recommend her to anyone considering this procedure. I opted to pay out of pocket for the panoptix lenses which included precison laser vs scalpel so I don't have to wear glasses again. It wasn't cheap but neither is a lifetime of progressive lenses and frames. I am so glad my insurance recommended Dr. Mosaddegh's Eye Institute. My appointment was at the Post at the street location. There were several people in the waiting room, which I saw as a positive sign. The care team, I observed, was busy calling patients and then returning them to the waiting room, until another care team member would call them again and then return them. Soon i was being called and returned. Each step in the procedure was preformed with care, expertise and conscientious cleanliness. It didn't occur to me that things should be moving faster than they were, and I didn't mind the wait as I felt things were being done properly. But, if there was a bit of a wait it all seemed worth it when I met Dr. Mosaddegh. She obviously knew exactly what she was doing what needed to be done. Knowledgable and thoughtful, she was also kind and generous with consideration to my age and situation. I have the greatest respect for her. I saw Thomas Aller for an eye exam, a prescription renewal. I found his approach to be coarse and vulgar, but I thought maybe the glasses would work out so I ignored his bad behavior. Unfortunately, the glasses did not work out, they were much too strong. When I went back for an adjustment, all he did was berate me and make inappropriate and snide remarks about my age. He not only refused to make the adjustment, he actually tried to keep my frames saying "I can make use of these". No, those are my frames you may not keep them. That's when he went on the attack on my age. His need to be right over-rides the needs of the patients. Beware of this man. read more

Do Not Go Here. I have been a patient (now ex-patient) here for 5 years. I came in for dry eye treatment. The first year they talked me into an extensive package for 5K out of pocket, which I bought because they scared the life out of me. Subsequent years I spent, 3k, 2k, 1,200 (twice). $12k+ total They are constantly overbooked. I have been going 5x per year for treatment. In that time, THEY cancelled 4 of my appointments. In addition, half of the time I was waiting an hour plus to be seen for my appointment. The last time was the final straw. 45 minutes after my appointment time, I said if the doctor was not going to see me, I was going to leave. They told me another 20 minutes, so I left. In the meantime, I had pre-paid for four treatments, of which I have used two. For the last 2 months I have been trying to get a refund of $810, which they acknowledge is my balance. I have that in writing. I have talked to someone twice, who told me a manager would call me back. They did not. I have left another FIVE voicemails over the course of several weeks. Nobody has called me back. Ever. Every time I call the Billing Department now, I only get voicemail. I can't even wait on hold. On top of that, as others have mentioned, I got a bill in the mail for a for an appointment that was almost TWO YEARS AGO. I asked them, I am in your office five times a year.Why did nobody mention that I owed money in any of those visits? I just ended up paying it to make it go away. I have since found another doctor who charges literally HALF for the same services. read more

I booked an appointment specifically to see a specialist ophthalmologist because my eyelid has been swollen for a month. I've been taking antibiotics and using Polymyxin ointment for weeks with no improvement. When I arrived, they switched me to an optometrist without telling me. She was nice, but she wasn't the specialist I booked for and just told me to keep using the same ointment I've already been using. I paid a $40 copay and left with no real help. It feels like this clinic books patients under specialists and then switches them to other doctors just to fill appointments. A complete waste of time and money. Dr. Lillie Mosaddegh is a superb medical professional. She graduated at the top of her class in college and knows the eye extremely well. She operated on my eyes due to cataracts and did a great job without any issues. I would recommend the laser approach vs. the scalpel. Insurance doesn't cover the laser and it is expensive ... but our eyes are critical. All members of Dr. Lillie Mosaddegh's staff are caring and friendly and do their jobs well and professionally. They even laugh at my jokes! My only issue is that the wait times are way too long ... so bring a book to read and be patient. It's worth the sacrifice. read more

Due to insurance limitations I visited her office after squiggly lines appeared one morning joining the floaters. Although far-sighted my eyesight allowed seeing up close wearing reading glasses while my distance was superb. After an exam it was deemed "oh it's time for cataract surgery, 99% of people in my age group eventually get it, and it will help to clear your vision! Left eye first, the other a week later. Lines were gone, floaters remained (told this would happen). Real life colors exploded... Yet my eyesight barely changed. Not two months later my eyesight drastically worsened. Color demenished, and blurryness replaced my once good vision. They suggested using multiple eyedrops... None worked as my vision rapidly inhibited reading, watching television & driving - especially at night. Sent to see a specialist which immediately suggested painful eye injections. The medicine should last up to three months, 3-4 treatments should restore my eyesight. Well since doubling that number, few options remain. Keep in mind, the cataract was successful but it wasn't discussed there could be complications. Like the 1% of people losing vision in both eyes due to unnecessary cataract surgery! Sadly while the specialist were sending their findings, I never heard back from her clinic! Just recently over 1 1/2 years later they contacted me. Asking if I'd like to come in for a follow-up? I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to express what I've gone & still going through. Obviously rushing to do surgery should have been "if your eyesight is good let's revisit it at another time to see if it's better or worse." When I arrived to her fully overbooked office, clearly l wouldn've been see right away & after the long period of no contact, concern, how are you doing? I never met with her, because they scheduled me for an eye exam for new glasses! I take blame for not seeking a 2nd opinion, but her responsibility as a physician... Eye got scratched due to given two astigmatism contacts when I only had one eye that is affected. Took a week to recover. Then I ordered 'monthly' contacts and was given weekly's. I feel taken advantage of. The lady gave me a price and when I requested to do a 6 month instead of 12 month supply the price for the 12 month magically dropped $100. I have been getting Botox for years. The first time I went to Dr. Mosaddegh, I was amazed at the results! I also noticed the care, time and attention she spent injecting me. She did not do the traditional few pokes in the same places. Each time she has carefully examined my face and it's expressions to then administer small injections in many different sites to, each time, obtain the best results. I have been amazed and impressed! I think I understand most of the positive and negative reviews but first a caveat. This review is for Dr. Mossadegh, not the optometrists. I was introduced to Dr. Mossadegh by my wife who had eye problems since childhood and found she was the first doctor who could deal well with her eyesight. I've been her patient for over 20 years and had her perform cataract surgery. She is an empathetic, wise, and considerate physician and a skilled eye surgeon. She is almost always late for her appointments because she takes whatever time her patients need. I would rather have a physician answer all my questions rather than work on a strict 15-20 minute deadline for the visit but I understand there is a trade off. Another aspect is she constantly invests in the latest technology The most recent is a scanner that allows her to bypass the older method of drops that dilate your pupils for several hours. As for complaints about staff, there have been one or two abrupt people over the years however generally her staff are friendly and courteous even when they are rushed. read more

Patient Beware I have read through these reviews, and I see a lot of angry patients of Lillie Mosaddegh. However, I don't think anyone could be as angry as I am. I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH LILLIE MOSADDEGH. This all took place almost a year ago. I came into Lillie Mosaddegh's office because I noticed that the far sight vision in my left eye had changed. I wanted her to look and see if I was going to need glasses soon. The following is my personal experience. Total cost was 23,750 out of my pocket. $10,000 of that was for a pair of Toric lens implants. We started with my right eye. Right out of surgery my right eye was blurry. We continued with the second scheduled surgery a week later for the left eye because Lillie Mosaddegh kept telling me that my right eye was still healing and that it would be ok. I took her word for it. The eyesight in my right eye NEVER RECOVERED. THE OUTCOME OF MY EYE SURGERY 1. LENS IN RIGHT EYE WAS THE WRONG STRENGTH. 2. THE LENS IN RIGHT EYE HAD LIGHT HALOS SO BAD I COULD NOT DRIVE AT NIGHT. In other words, any light that I encountered at night was so distorted that I could not see. This meant that I could not go anywhere without making sure I was going to be able to make it home before dark. It would have been extremely dangerous for me to drive after the sun went down. 3. DOUBLE VISION IN BOTH EYES. The other 3 optometrists that I would later go see called this ghosting. 4. I COULD NOT SEE VERY WELL IN LOW LIGHT. I would later find out by the other 3 optometrists that she put yellow lenses in my eyes. I felt that she should have given me the option on whether I wanted yellow lenses or clear. I was told by the other optometrists that there is a "theory" that the yellow lenses protect your eyes from outdoor light. Given the choice, I would have told Lillie Mosaddegh that I like wearing sunglasses. With sunglasses, when you walk into a dark room, you have the option to take the sunglasses off. 5. She put different lenses in each eye. I was very adamant about NOT wanting her to put lenses in my eyes where one eye sees close and the other sees far away. WE TALKED ABOUT THIS! And that is exactly what I ended up with. My eyes never adjusted to this. I kept telling Lillie Mosaddegh about all these issues that I was having with my eyesight. SHE was upset that I was not happy with the outcome. She told me that she would just have to "fit me for glasses". My response to her? $23,750 dollars and I get glasses, really? After all, that is what I originally came in to see her for. When I asked Lillie Mosaddegh for a refund so that I could go get my eyes fixed somewhere else, she would not even address the question. 2nd OPINIONS FROM 3 OTHER OPTOMATRISTS I went to 3 other separate optometrists to get 2nd opinions. Two of those optometrists worked together to see what they could do to help me recover my eyesight. They recovered some of my eyesight by removing one of the lenses. I still have one eye with a yellow lens. Each eye sees color slightly different because of the yellow lens. I will forever have DOUBLE VISION in both eyes. There was nothing that could be done about the double vision. My vision will never fully recover. My life was degraded and still is. So, I would say to you, before you make any decisions to have anything done to your eyes, to get a second opinion! Or at the very least, read through the reviews that other people have left on this site. I sure wish I had read them. After all, how much is your eyesight worth? read more

I had a emergency with my pet and called to reschedule my appointment and was told I would be charged 25 bucks for cancelling. I've been going to your clinics for 8 yrs. Guess what, thats fine because this unreasonable and your business practices are questionable! Will never be back. read more

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Mosaddegh, Dr. Paragas, Dr. Hancock, Rocio, Felicia, Alem, the people at the front desk were very nice and attentive, my first impression of Dr. M was how beautiful her soul was. I was seen at her aesthetic division for Botox ( which I'm so happy with) so when My mother had an eye infection I felt confident sending her to DR. M. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take my mom to her appointment so Dr. Mosaddegh went and did a Telehealth / FaceTime last minute. Which saved me a trip downtown and really helped my mother. I've been to places before where I felt I was just a patient, Dr. Mosaddegh makes me feel welcome and important, sometimes there is a wait, but that because she's going above and beyond, to me she's superwoman. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I was seen by Dr. Melissa Paragas and she was super knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable during the visit. I have chronic dry eye and Dr. Paragas is really knowledgable about this. They have all top-of-the-line procedures and over-the-counter medications, wipes, etc. that will help treat that condition. If you have dry eyes, this is the place to go. It is expensive as it's not covered by insurance - but that is the insurance companies' fault, not the doctor's. Dr. Paragas is even on some kind of committee trying to fight the insurance companies for not covering this treatment. Overall, fantastic service by the doctor. I've gone to other places where the doctor is fantastic but the staff is not so great. Not the case with this practice. The staff is AMAZING! They are super helpful and really seem to care about their patients. I want to give a special shout-out to Jacqueline Zeigler who always goes above and beyond when helping me. I really feel like I'm in good hands when I'm there. I highly recommend this place both for quality of medicine and for quality of service. read more

I almost never leave reviews but today I want to share one. This place is awful. My quick follow up appointment turned out to be almost 1.5h long. I had to wait 20 min before I got admitted to the room, 3 people were checking my eyes in different rooms, between each of them I was asked to wait in the waiting room. Dr. Mosaddegh talked to me for brief 3 min having someone on the call at the same time, she was telling that person what she was doing to me without even asking for my permission. The receptionist was incompetent and rude, she tried to charge a copay that I had already paid. When I made a point, she got angry and asked me to just leave. She didn't confirm the pharmacy to get my prescription sent and later had to call me. I left the office angry but now I am very sad. I was never treated so poorly before by a medical professional or even any other service provider before. Do not recommend this place! read more

Dr. Mosaddegh saved my sight. Thank you. Horrible problems since a botched eye surgery when another dr had done the wrong surgery on my eyes and caused permanent damage that Dr. Mosaddegh found. I was seeing another doctor for a year and he didn't care about my vision just trying to make money from Botox and fillers. Everyone these days are trying to make a quick buck but Dr. Mosaddegh will do what's right for the patient and really cares about eyes. Thank you!! Five stars. read more

Dr Mosaddegh has been in our family for many years, from the time my kids were very little, and now they are grown-up kids. We had good experiences and not-so-good ones. She was super helpful in many regards in the vision care for my kids and myself. However, there are also very difficult and exacerbating moments during our long-standing relationship. I appreciate hearing the truth. and she is honest. I trust her knowledge and her expertise. However, I had many incidences with her staff, where i felt not as great. The last doctor I saw in this office, felt rushed (I understand time is of the essence), she did not care, she assumed what I was experiencing without confirming, and gave me restrictions, without knowing what the impact might be. This experience was unfortunately not a single one over the years. I kept going back just because Rosillo has been phenomenal finding the right fit, and getting me through these periods.
