I recently purchased a Hyundai at Lilliston Ford and, based on my experience, I strongly recommend this location to others. This was my first time buying a used car and I was very wary of the process given how much I do not know about cars in general. Before visiting Lilliston, I had been to a number of other different car dealers in the New Jersey area and was very disappointed by some of the tactics they used, especially the large discrepancies between their listed prices online / over the phone, and their actual "out-the-door" prices they offered when I visited in person. In one place, the guy even gave me a starting offer of $23k for a car listed at $13.7k online. Luckily, this was NOT my experience at Lilliston. The offer that they gave me after my test drive was essentially the price that was advertised online, plus the NJ sales tax and other minimal admin fees. I was very grateful for this as it did not waste my time (or theirs) and didn't necessitate a drawn-out process of haggling. I also appreciated that Lilliston Ford did not pressure me to purchase the car through financing. I came in feeling very strongly about buying in cash and, when I mentioned this, the salesman did not fight me on it and, as far as I can tell, did not significantly increase the offered price because of this. At other locations I went to, they relentlessly pressured me to finance instead of pay cash, and then raised the listed price by $2-3k when I declined. I want to give a big shout out to my sales guy Greg. He was very helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, answering all my questions and accommodating all of my requests. He was completely above board on the car's specs and history, and helped me find out more information about a prior battery replacement that was not specified by the CarFax. Given my lack of knowledge about cars, I came in wanting to a pre-purchase inspection by an outside mechanic that I had found nearby and Greg accommodated that request (if others are curious, I used Main Auto LLC in Vineland). All sales staff, I imagine, are instructed to make certain pitches and advertise certain products, but the difference between this location and others I visited was that when I declined something, Greg did not pressure me at all to change my mind, which made the whole process a lot less stressful. I also want to shout out Aaron who was really helpful and friendly with getting my paperwork together for the purchase. I've only had the car for a week or two, so I will update this review in the coming months with any new information, but as of right now I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Lilliston Ford and would definitely recommend it to others! read more

I didn't need a new car, I wanted a Mustang. So when my son (who knows too much about cars) and I decided to take one for a test drive we were approached by Angelo DeRose while we were looking at the cars on the lot. My 2009 Mercury Mariner gets the best service! I have found Service Advisers are completely honest with their estimates. While the repair cost seem high the customer has the opportunity to refuse their recommendations and go elsewhere. Dennis, Linda and Tom have great customer relation skills and review needed repairs very carefully! Purchased my Jeep from here, and have had absolutely nothing but problems. I have been dealing with nonstop issues from a lift kit which was installed incorrectly, and they basically told me I was on my own. I finally called again about yet ANOTHER problem and the man I spoke with laughed in the phone and said "look lady I don't know what you want me to do. This is out of our control."
