I tend to always look for local florists, it's always the best way to go, in my opinion. And the decision to go with Lily flowers was definitely the right one. Of course, I decided last minute to order my sister flowers to be delivered to her at work, on her birthday. After searching on google for a shop near her work, I called late morning, gave the address and time my sister would be there. She was very nice in taking the call, gave me some floral options, and assured me it would get delivered. Only to then find out, that I gave the wrong address and the wrong time! So I call back immediately to give the correct information, with less than maybe an hour for them to get it delivered. And they DELIVERED. The flowers were beautiful, my sister absolutely loved them, and she still texted me a picture of the arrangement before and after once the flowers were delivered. They went above and beyond in my opinion, and got the order done. They could've easily cancelled and told me to go elsewhere, but she didn't. I wanted to surprise my mom back in February for Valentine's day but did not know any florists nearby where she lives. Desperately looked up on yelp last minutes and found this place, but I was a bit skeptical to place an order based on previous yelp reviews. Since I had limited options, I trusted my guts and called in this place just to see if they could help me out. Who would have known there could be such a perfection with just one phone call?!!!! The owner helped making my oder process a lot easier. Flower was so fresh and delivered on time before my mom had to leave for work. Second time that I ordered was recently in May for Mother's day. I placed 2 separate orders for delivery to my mothers hospital in Broomfield - 1 online and 1 over the phone. I was specific about each delivery date as for a 92. year old woman your hospital stay is brightened up by flowers. The website does have beautiful arrangements and plants. However, both deliveries were late and only delivered after I called and emailed multiple times to re-request delivery. Also the orders were incomplete, the medium box of chocolates was not delivered. I have not received any response as to why the deliveries were both late and incomplete. I do not recommend placing any orders for delivery from this business. Extremely disappointing for all. read more

I was appalled with Lily Flowers. When their driver dropped off the arrangement on my front door step, he shattered the vase everywhere. He chose to leave all of the glass on my doorstep while putting a pile of some of the larger pieces in my flower bed! Even on the second delivery attempt they left all the glass everywhere!! When I came home from work I was speechless! They never mentioned anything about breaking a vase! When I called to confront them about this the lady who answered the phone said they would not come out and clean up the mess because it was after hours. I told them there are kids that play all around here!! How could you possibly break glass on someone's doorstep and leave it. Until I mentioned that that this is how lawsuits happen they refused to come clean up the glass. They also refused to provide any credit for the order. Un-freakin-believable. read more

I am totally okay with having an order cancelled for valid reasons, what I do not like is having no type of communication. Both my number and email are on file, I've ordered before, but received 0 responses to my emails and phone calls. Assuming for the month of August they are not conducting any business because it is all blocked out, and I had an Order planned for this week. Regardless, a little advice - communicate with your customers. Don't lose business over something so dumb. Grateful I received confirmation of my refund, just overall upset I was not given a reason why or when they could possibly begin to deliver. Just avoid altogether . read more

Horrible customer service from the owner! Very disrespectful! Left a customers flowers without confirming any information in the office and said could not deliver to the door ( isn't that the whole point when your the delivering service) was too busy. When we called to complain, the main number was the owner and he stated " your wasting your time am the owner , I know what I am doing" argued and hung up. I'm appalled how a so called " family business " would conduct themselves since they state on the main website how important and prompt their customer service is. I strongly recommend that you choose another florist in the Lakewood area. I purchased a bouquet for my Mother, and it was delivered in a spray painted mason jar instead of the nice vase that was advertised. More importantly, the roses had short stems (2 to 3 inches long) that did not even reach the vase. They were just stuffed in among the other flowers in the arrangement. Needless to say, they didn't even last one day. After exchanging 11 emails with Teleflora, they eventually wore me out and I gave up and had to eat the cost of the flowers. Contacted store on Friday and they refused to replace the flowers. Basically they said, "too bad, that is the way it is!" Poor customer service!!! Disgusted that you would charge someone $119.98 for the King Soopers flowers you but in a vase and delivered to me. Your company should be ashamed. My husband called to complain because you had not made the delivery to my place of employment before it closed (supposed to be there before 5p).
