I ordered an arrangement to be delivered Wednesday as a surprise. The flowered were unable to be delivered because no one was home, so I was told they would try again at 6:30-6:45. No one showed up to deliver flowers, and the company failed to notify me that they didn't make the delivery this day, nor did they make any contact with the recipient. They proceeded to deliver the flowers the following day and told the recipient they'd deliver them at 10:30, but showed up early and no one was home. Then, they showed at 11:30-12:00 and finally delivered them. Nearly 24 hours earlier. Really disappointed by the lack of communication and lack of commitment to specific times. I wish there was an option to sign up for a time slot for delivery, because this would have saved us a major headache. read more

This company really came through for me on a time when technology failed. Last Friday was my mother, Diana's 65th Birthday. I live in Los Angeles, CA and with all the Coronavirus issues unable to travel and be with my mom on her special day. I found Diana's flowers and thought it was just meant to be and placed my order online. My card information was input inaccurately so they were trying to call and email me but I didn't see the calls and my the emails were lost in my spam. I found an email the day of my mom's birthday and it said please contact us to update or your order my be delayed or canceled. I started to panic and called the shop immediately it was already about 3:30pm! I expressed how much it meant to me that she received the flowers that day and they told me all of the drivers had left for that day. I was so sad. I thought since I placed the order online 4 days in advanced it would be ok. So, what could go wrong? I began to sob and told the man I picked them due to the name "Diana" and location being so close to her. That man said, "Let me see what I can do. I'm going to hand deliver the flowers to her myself by the end of the day." Okay so after my very successful surgery, I had a friend surprise me with a bouquet of darling flowers-- custom made!! They are incredibly beautiful, fresh flowers, I definitely fell in love with it. I had ordered flowers for my mom couple days before Valentine's Day to be delivered to her house on Valentine's Day. Long story short, there was a lack of communication from the flower shop resulting the flowers I ordered to be nothing compared to what I purchased. I was extremely disappointed since I saw all the great reviews on here and had high hopes for this flower shop. The flowers I ordered were the premium set of flowers and instead it looked like my mom had received left over flowers that were just thrown together in a vase. Because I was upset I wrote an email to the owners explaining my situation. The reason I'm giving this a 4 star review is because of the way the situation was handled. One of the owners (I believe) reached out to me, Kim. She apologized to me right away for the flowers not being what I had purchased and that she showed her designer the picture of flowers my mom had received instead of what she should have received and she said that she was very disappointed as well with what was delivered. I think it's great when a company can also own up to something not being up to the customers as well as their standards and try to rectify it. I think this flower shop could be great so I will definitely order with them again when time comes, but I did really appreciate someone reaching out to me and making sure I was happy in the end. read more

I rarely wrote reviews on any site. But I want to compliment the staff at Diana's Flowers and thank them SO MUCH for the beautiful bouquet they delivered to my aunt right before Xmas. I had ordered flowers through one of the national chain and it was a horrible experience. They said the flowers had been delivered when they hadn't, then they said they'd deliver them the day after they were supposed to be delivered and upgrade them, which they didn't do either. And then the "bouquet" they finally delivered was not anything like what was ordered. Explained all of this to the staff at Diana's and ordered a new bouquet. I ordered from Diana's flowers because of the ratings and variety of bouquets. I ordered a bouquet it was beautiful in the picture. So I went with the premium bouquet, balloons and a stuffed animal. Well when they delivered I asked for a picture of the bouquet. The driver was kind enough to send one. The bouquet was on the border of regular and deluxe. No stuffed animal. I called the shop and they tried to blame the delivery person. I Do Not recommend going through this company. read more

This is a tiny shop on the corner of colfax and chambers but it is an absolute gem! The owners Lupe and Robert are very friendly and are true artists at the craft of flower arranging. I went in to get a gift of flowers for my mother in law for her birthday and they whipped together one of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen and for a very reasonable price. (Two previous shops had declined my request for delivery.) I requested a bright cheerful arrangement, but said I trusted their judgement. While waiting for my plane, I received a text with a picture of the arrangement saying, "She is going to love it!" This kind gesture was unexpected and the compassion they showed during this difficult time, touched my heart. Very unfortunate experience with this business. I ordered an item to be delivered on March 1st. I paid for the arrangement itself as well as a $20 delivery fee. I received an email confirmation of my order. As of March 2nd, nothing had been delivered. I contacted the business and they explained my order "was caught up in their system" and they could have it delivered the following day (2 days late). I asked if they could do something about the $20 delivery fee since the item would not be delivered on-time and I received no notification from the company. They said no, that the delivery fees go to their drivers. They offered to upgrade the arrangement, but that would have changed the entire look of the item as I had picked out a specific succulent arrangement with a specific planter and stand for the intended recipient. I asked if they would instead credit the $20 fee to the cost of the item which they refused. Unfortunate that a business will not do what is right to fix an issue that was 100% on their end, especially when it was me that caught the error and had to contact them about it. Definitely would not recommend or use them again as a flower delivery company should be reliable and take care of their customers. read more

My husband has been purchasing flower arrangements from your shop for a long time, he spends lots of money with you and I am very dissatisfied with how a complaint we placed was handled on your behalf. Last Friday 02/13/2015 he went into your store to buy me a flower arrangement for Valentine's day. He wanted a 18 rose flower arrangement and said he was charged extra for the additional six roses. When he got home we realized there were only 16 flowers in the arrangement not the 18 flowers he was charged for. We tried calling your store that evening and got no answer, we figured the store was busy because of Valentine's day and I did not call back till Monday . On Monday I called in requested to speak to the manager but because Roberto (the manager) was not int he store I spoke to Jasmine and gave her my complaint. She said she would talk to Robert and call me back. When she did call me back she told me Roberto was requesting that my husband call back to place the complaint because he was the one who made the purchase. My husband did not initially call that day to make the complaint because he was working and did not really have the time to do so. When my husband called back he was told he could go to the store and pick up the 2 roses that were missing from the arrangement. It's unacceptable to me that we would have to call back twice for a mistake the store made and that once he called back he would be asked to drive back to pick up the flowers. He paid for a service that he did not get and still had to go the the inconvenience of having to drive to your store to pick up something he should have gotten the first time around . Roberto never took the time to call us back and as the store manager I believe he should've taken the time to do so. I believe making a customer call back twice due to store mistake is poor customer service and giving him the 2 roses does not compensate for the time, effort and inconvenience of us having to call twice because the store made a mistake. I am letting you know this and I will be giving the store a poor review dues to the bad customer service a long time customer like my husband received. read more
