Dan is the best!!! He kills every set. He takes the time to pick the perfect colors and create a beautiful design!

I came in to get my toes done and i got cat eye nails. where they use the magnet to give a special effect. i had to go back the next day because i had polish not put in certain spots. i got no apology but on top of that the owner lily did my toes personally and she didn't even use the magnet. it looked like JUST sparkles. i spent an extra $10 alone and $15 for gel $60 total and am not happy. i'm not one to complain but i have a wedding out of state and wanted them done NICE before i left. on top of that i live out of town and told them that and had to drive all the way back to chico and again no apology

Recently had a pedicure at Lily's Nails, with Adam. I showed him a picture of what I wanted painted on my big toes and he not only delivered, but my toes turned out better than the picture I showed him. He not only gives an amazing pedicure, but had a great sense of humor as well:)

I always have the best time at Lily's Nails. I see Tina and everytime she does a fantastic job. Not only is she super sweet, but she has amazing skills. I always love how I show her what I want and it matches. Also the girls at the front (especially Revy) are the sweetest.

Adam did a Wonderful job!! Not only an amazing massage and pedicure but I asked for a dragon fly and the detail work he hand painted was awesome! I'll definitely be back next month.

Amazing service! I have been going here for several months and they never fail! Pedicures with amazing massages, as well as beautiful acrylic nails. I'm always happy with my nails. I schedule my appointments with Sky and always end up with nails that look amazing and thankfully no air bubbles. They're awesome for watching the game if that's what you're into and offer a vast variety of drinks. They are also great if you want to bring your kid in. Very important message to everyone that goes to this place, if you use your credit card double check your statement that they don't charge you twice. I used my credit card and they told me it didn't go through so I gave a different credit card use. When statements came I noticed both cards were charged. The next time went in I spoke with manager at front desk. She looked it up on my account and told me I was only charged one time. I told we're no look at my statements. She gave excuses and told I needed to talk to Lily the owner. Well Lily didn't want to listen or help me. I sat down and called my credit card company to verify again the charge so that both managers could listen and they still would make it. I will never go there again, worst place ever. They don't care about customer service and how they treat there customers. read more

I have been going here for about 5 years for my pedicures but the last few times have not been the greatest. I do the basic with gel polish, supposed to be a 30 minute service and they're usually down within 15 minutes. My gel started to chip off the next day and within the week 3 of my toes gel is chipped and falling off. read more

First time going to Lily's and I will be back! I got a call 15 minutes before my appointment letting me know my tech was running behind and was asked to come in a little later than scheduled. I thought that was nice, as I've never received a call like that from any other salon and have just been made to wait. Helen did an amazing job on my nails! She is very thorough and listens to what you want. My pedicure was good, the massage chairs are awesome. My only complaint and why I didn't give 5 stars...it's now 5.5 HOURS after my appointment and my toes are still tacky (I had my pedicure first, then got my nails done so I was there a while). I got regular polish, so not sure if an incorrect top coat was used?! I didn't realize it until I was home for an hour and every piece of lint/etc was stuck to my toe nails the finish is completely ruined and still sticky/not dry as I type this. I leave for a trip tomorrow so no time to go have it fixed, bummed my toes are messed up and what a waste of money. read more

Got the spa pedi with gel polish and a simple gel polish on my hands. The guys who did mine, my daughters, and roommates were amazing BUT when it came time to pay my roommates card was declined twice and ran as credit without asking her if she'd like it ran as credit and they hold a deposit per swipe of a card for credit, which they did not decide to mention! so she was double charged deposits for both "declined" swipes when in truth it did get charged to her card but we did not know until we were half way back to oroville and I had paid again for the entire thing so we both paid over $150 for the same transaction.... lily's claims her card was still declined but the money was definitely taken out soo we will not be going back ! read more

So I was feeling like a foot massage and decided on a pedicure. Atmosphere: 4 stars. The place was is well lit and spacious. They have what looks like new chairs. I enjoyed their mechanical massage. I liked the color changing light in the foot bath. Service: 5 stars. I guess I caught a lucky break because they were open past 7:30. At least, they took my business and in the massage chair I was. My technician was named Rose. She was very good in trimming my nails and cleaning my cuitical. Value: 4 stars. I paid $25 for a basic pedicure. I felt it was worth it. Quality: 4 stats. I didn't have any polish or color put on my nails. I really enjoyed my foot bath though. I guess you could say I was an easy customer. I would have liked a better massage but that was the only area for improvement. read more

I have been going to this place for over 26 years. I have gotten nothing but fungus after fungus after fungus. I have lost toenails and thumbnails because of the filth of this business. I have contacted the cosmetology board and they literally told me do not go there. They get fined several filthy things every time they visit them. After my last post which was about a month ago I just got a phone call from Lily calling me a liar. Big mistake Lily. You use the same old on every person, whether they have a fungus or not. I now go to a new nail shop that has packages that they use on every customer that are not opened. Your place is a disgusting filthy business. You should never have called me and called me a liar. I trusted you for 26 years plus. Go to hell, Lily. read more

OMG let me tell you the experience I had! First of all the guy I had was sick and sneezing the whole time which is understandable when he had to walk away but every time he walked away to go blow his nose his boss would literally start yelling at him. Then they made me bleed then half of my nails aren't even shaped right and look nothing like I showed them! On top of all that I was stuck there for two hours my step sister was done and ready 45 min before me and she wasn't seated tell AFTER me. Never going back:( read more

Lily's sucks for customer service I just paid a hundred bux for a pedicure for me and my brother. Dude only worked on my feet for 15 min and My brother is still in there I paid for a half an hour service and only got 15 min of it Effing bullshit Their excuses was that guys take longer than girls. Honestly not happy with my nails. The nail tech didn't trim or do any cuticle care. The nail length and widths were uneven; I had to file them properly once home. He didn't confirm color or acrylic color at all. My cuticles look horrible and the acrylic is already chipping on the sides after 4 days. read more

He shaped my nails and did a good job on the cuticles but he pulled the tools out from under the table and sprayed them with what I am assuming was rubbing alcohol. They were not in a sealed packet like I'm used to seeing. I could also see that the buffing pad that he used had been used before. That made me a little uncomfortable. The pedicure was a really bad experience for me. The woman did a good job of clipping, filing and cuticle trimming, and this time the tools did come out of a sealed packet, however, when she started to use the pumice stone, I pointed out that I had a thick callous on my big toe and asked her to pay a little extra attention to that. she started rubbing on it really hard and fast like she was sanding a table. It really hurt and I asked to stop. I ended up with a wound on my toe when she was done (see photo). When she started to polish my nails, she noticed the wound and looked at me and shrugged like "oh well". I will never go back.

Unfortunately, this is not the place I remember from years ago. I previously came here for…read moremanicures and pedicures and had good experiences, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. I originally asked for only a pedicure. Because the students had recently returned and the shop was nearly empty, several people repeatedly encouraged me to have my fingernails done as well. I clearly said no multiple times, but they continued insisting and even told me I would look prettier with my nails done. Eventually, after being told that they could do my hands while my feet were being done, I gave in. Having both services performed at once felt rushed and uncomfortable. My full set was not done properly, and I was never really given the option to finish my pedicure and then sit at a nail station where the technician could take their time. I did not complain at that moment because I already felt as though people were talking about me, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. While I was there, my separate lash appointment elsewhere was canceled. I asked the owner whether she professionally performed lash extensions, and she told me she was licensed. I explained the specific look I wanted, but she repeatedly rejected my request, saying it would be too heavy. Before I could really reconsider, I was told to lie down and a blanket was already being placed over me. The lash service took approximately 20 minutes, and I was charged $110. When I saw the finished lashes, I immediately said they did not look right. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was told it was only the lighting. Within approximately three days, the extensions began falling out, and some of my natural eyelashes came out with them. The most upsetting part of this experience was feeling pressured into purchasing services I had already declined and then feeling dismissed when I expressed concerns about the results. Customers should be allowed to make their own decisions without repeated pressure or comments about looking prettier. They should also receive enough time and attention for each service, especially when paying for a full set or lash extensions. If you are visiting for a basic manicure or pedicure, you may have a different experience. However, based on what happened to me, I would not recommend allowing yourself to be talked into additional services. I also would not recommend having a full set rushed while receiving a pedicure or getting lash extensions here. This establishment is simply not what I remember it being.

She'll get your nails done, how you want, in a short period of time. And she's creative! Colors, glitter, shapes, etc. galore! Highly highly recommend. One of the few things of Chico I will actually miss when I move after graduation.

After enduring painful cuts and receiving awful service, I decided to leave a review outlining my experience. The front desk called me to discuss my feedback. The staff member I spoke with seemed genuinely shocked by what I had gone through and acknowledged that the behavior I encountered was not only unprofessional but also completely unacceptable. She assured me that I could receive a refund and promised that Lily would follow up with me shortly. However, just five minutes later, I received a call from Lily that left me even more frustrated. Rather than addressing my concerns, she downplayed my pain and refused to issue a refund for the $120 I had spent--an excessively high amount for the service I received. Instead of acknowledging the severity of my experience, she offered me a gift certificate for a redo, despite my clear and repeated insistence that I never wanted to set foot in their salon again. Lily assured me she would speak to the owner about my situation and promised to call me back later. I waited three hours, but when I called back, I discovered that she had not discussed my concerns with the owner at all. It was disheartening to realize that my feedback was not being taken seriously, simply because they didn't want to refund me. I reiterated to her how painful and distressing my experience had been, highlighting the potential health risks I faced due to the use of dirty tools. I expressed my concerns about possible infections and the overall lack of hygiene standards. Instead of engaging with my concerns, Lily hung up on me. The level of disrespect and disregard for customer experiences at this salon is simply unacceptable. I cannot stress this enough: I would strongly advise anyone considering this salon to look elsewhere. My experience was not just disappointing; it was appalling, and I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. They clearly do not value their customers or take accountability for their services, and I deeply regret choosing to go there. read more

Lily is my Nail tech. She has done my nails for years, she is quick and efficient does excellent work there is no lifting of the nails, they stay intact &that is especially important cause I'am very hard on my nails at work. Her newly remodeled & located salon (in the same shopping center) Is the biggest, most elegant salon in town. Her large staff of nail techs and pedicure techs, take walk-ins anytime there is never a wait. Everyone does excellent work. They now offer pedicures for children, they have a cute little area with pedicure chairs which has butterfly wing backs it's very cute your children will love it as you're getting yourself beautified! Lilys also offer eyelash extensions, Lilly's daughter Vivian is the eyelash technician she does excellent work, any thickness length of eyelashes you desire she can apply. I would say this is the #1 Salon in Chico! Go check it out it is very beautiful inside they have lots of high-tech devices. Every time I go and get my nails done I see something new. I was going to do a review the day of my visit and I got busy as I was leaving. Days later I'm still really happy with my nails I had done by Hannah (really sweet). I went in said I'm not a nail girl usually do to my job, but I had a special occasion for the weekend. She recommended instead of just a manicure to do the gel polish nothing fake trim my own nails and clean them up. Well that was thursday. Today Tuesday they still look really nice. They have kept up two days of really hard work. Plus looked great this last weekend everyone complemented. Oh and my Lil one had her nails done and felt special like mom. Really nice staff, great quality. Now I know I can have nice nails I plan to go back in a few weeks. Hope this help those who are like myself who thinks nice nails can't be ours with our jobs. I recently visited Lily's Nail and Spa for a pedicure with a friend, and while I was there, I asked if they offered nose waxing. The front desk woman came over, and when I confirmed that I wanted the service, her reaction was puzzling--she looked confused, almost annoyed. Even my friend was taken aback by her demeanor. Despite the odd interaction, I was taken to the back for the wax. Unfortunately, the results were far from satisfactory. My nose looks like it was burned, and there's still wax left in my nostrils. It honestly looks like I've snorted fire, but rest assured, it's just a result of someone who clearly didn't know what they were doing. I'm incredibly disappointed with the service and the outcome. This was not the experience I expected from a professional spa, and I won't be returning. I went in for a straight forward Mani Pedi with gel. The color I had picked off the board did not match the corresponding bottle but my nail tech Tammy did not stop until we found a color I was looking for! She was so kind, with great attention to detail and she genuinely seemed happy to be working here. I loved her! The facility was also very clean and calming. The footbath had a plastic lining that is tossed after every use which is so comforting and a great way to keep everything clean. I was offered refreshments and during my pedicure and during the mani there was a wonderful calming waterfall in the back. I would go back to Lily's no questions asked! read more

Ive been a dedicated client of Lilys for 2 yrs now. Lily is amazing and does a beautiful job on my nails every time. If Im not sure what color or what I would like done next, I feel very confident and secure in letting her go to work and choose what to do. Shes fun and very creative. She has the best team beside her and I never leave disappointed. I wont go anywhere else and if theyre busy its definately worth the wait. The atmosphere is always calm and relaxing. Lily's Nails is one of my favorite places to go in Chico because they ALWAYS get me in when they say they will. If there is one thing I can't stand it's when I call ahead of time, make an appointment, and then show up on time only to wait for an hour+. Lily's doesn't favor walk-ins over appointments and that's highly respected in my books. Not only that but the staff is very friendly, and they always make me feel welcomed when I visit them. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TIPS WITH RECEPTIONIST THEY POCKET THEM! I love the stylists at Lily's and they all do incredible work, they are very talented. The receptionists and the owner lily get worse and worse after every visit. Checking out I handed the receptionist a $20 bill as a tip for my nails. I forgot my keys and came back inside just to find the $20 to be in the tip cup on her desk. Very disheartening and disrespectful to the hard working nail stylists at Lily's. I've tried a few nail salons since moving to town and this one is BY FAR the best I've been to. Helen did my pedicure and full set. I always have the best service when I come to Lily's! I have been going to Bao for my acrylic nails and Han did an amazing pedicure yesterday. Always great work and consistent. The other two of us were just sitting soaking our feet until other technicians became available 20 minutes later. The pedicure itself was great, but it sort of felt like they take a factory approach and just take appointments and walk-ins even though no one is necessarily available to do the work at the time. It felt as though they just hope that people are willing to wait. The whole thing just seemed very impersonal to me.

She didn't even notice that she filled the basin you place your feet in with ice cold water. She acted annoyed when I asked her to drain it out and replace it with hot water. They don't have the right kind of lamp that just goes right over your foot, so you have to constantly pick up your foot and point your toes ever so perfectly to avoid hitting the still wet gel polish on the edges of the lamp! There are dings and dents in my big toe polish on my right foot because of that. But they're not very deep because she skipped so many layers in my cat eye finish. More on that in a second. She puts overly hot wax, rocks and towels on your skin. She does an uneven and unbalanced massage that's very half-assed and unsatisfying. It was a huge waste of $50 on top of what the gel polish cost $20) , and the tip. Because I am somebody who always tips 20%, and having been in the beauty business for 20 years myself, I know a person can have an 'off' day, so she got $84 total from me and I felt like an absolute fool afterwards when I saw the actual color job. It's very flat and un dimensional. She must've skipped a layer or two. It's a cat eye finish so there needs to be specific layers that get cured first before the magnetic layer and then another clearcoat or two. That's what gives it that really spectacular depth and dimension which this gel pedicure is totally missing. Not to mention, she overly exposes her cleavage, which is unflattering and ridiculous. She's practically spilling out of her shirt while leaning over and doing the pedicure. It had been almost 10 years since my last pedicure and I don't get my nails done on my hands because I'm a gardener and musician. This whole experience was a stark reminder of why I had stopped going and getting my nails done in the first place so long ago. NEVER AGAIN. I'm giving two stars because the salon itself is beautiful and you can tell that the owners put a lot of effort into it and it's not their fault that she doesn't care and doesn't like what she's doing and should obviously be trying to do something else with her life.
