Asked the lady to do white powder and she misunderstood me so I comprised and asked if she could find a milky white. These are not milky white they're way too white for my liking. And then claims they gave me $5 off when online the price is already $45.

Lisa gave me a gel manicure and pedicure. She is so kind and really takes her time. The place is very clean and relaxing. Will definitely be returning.

The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful in suggesting colors. They stand by their work and make corrections to ensure that the customer is happy. As a former stylist, I've been too stubborn to pay for a service I can do at home, but after my first experience, they've made a loyal customer out of me. I've started scheduling appointments, but as a walk-in I've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes. I love that they direct everyone to wash their hands as soon as they walk in the door. I am an OCD-germaphobe who likes pretty things, and this is my safe go-to. **I just read through a majority of the other reviews. A lot of the poor reviews are from years ago. Someone complained that the parking lot is dirty- that's Chico. Another said the reviews about Ken aren't real- he's done my nails and they were beautiful. As far as not getting all of the dead skin off of fingers and toes- they're not magicians, they do the best they can without causing damage. The more reviews you have, the harder it is to keep a high rating. It only takes a couple to knock the stars off.

My daughter and I walked in for mani-pedis prior to heading to Hawaii, and the staff was so kind to take us in on a whim. The outcome was beautiful & the leg/foot massage felt so good!!! It was such a calming environment...this is where I'll go from now on. Highly recommend.

First time fine. 2nd time well...not so good. My toenail clippings were rubbed off on my leg. I had to flick them into the water off my leg. My manicurist was masked, virtually silent, distracted by coworkers, talked in a language I could not understand. I felt invisible. Drained my tub and it spilled all over the floor. Took me to drying table pointing and gesturing the whole way. I had to guess what I was supposed to do. I won't be back. The outside indicates the level of professionalism on the inside. Hi there, i don't usually leave reviews but after today i thought i might share my experience. it really sucks when you spend good money on nails and your expectations are not met. The lady who did my nails completely was rushing for no reason, i've never had something like this happen before. She took no time to check to make sure every nail was even or the same, it genuinely terrible .Money doesn't grow on trees so it's nice when people take their time. Everyone is super nice here so it sucks leaving this review sucks. I'm not a karen so i'm not gonna spend anytime debating with someone over nails, i just left. read more

Tipsy Nails is a Great nail/Pedicure & waxing salon for me!! I usually have Kim (nail tech, not the new lady that just started). She is always great but unfortunately, I forgot the gals name who I had today ((11/9/23) who was great also!!! The new Kim who did my waxing today was super & fast!!! They ALL go out of their way to accommodate their client's. Ease of scheduling appointments or to accommodate walk ins. Not much at all of a wait, if not having an appointment. Party of 3.. pedicures, 2 Tipsy Deluxe & 1 Tipsy Ultimate pedicure, was not inform that for gel polish was extra. Charge was as follows: Tipsy Deluxe: $45+$15(gel polish) (x2) Tipsy Ultimate: $50+$20(gel polish) waited a long time before a technician came to see me, but my ultimate pedicure finished like 3 minutes after the two tipsy deluxe.. not worth the money, going elsewhere. Felt like my Pedicure was rushed! read more

Everyone was super friendly. The salon is clean and nice itself. I came to visit family and we decided to get our nails done. We both got gel manicures and pedicures. I don't know really what happened but it started to chip and peel after a few days of normal wear which has never been my experience with gel polish. Both my toes & my nails have chipped & started to lift to the point I'm going to have them redone at a salon by my own house. Usually, I would not complain about things like this, but it was kind of disappointing considering this is not a cheap thing to do regularly & it was a little treat day for us. (We paid almost $200 in services not including tip to the artists) Maybe it was the prep, maybe it was the polish I don't know but it was discouraging. This salon is about two hours away from my house so it's inconvenient to drive to get it fixed. Unfortunately, I will not be returning & I don't recommend this salon after this experience. read more

This is the ONLY place I will get my nails done in Chico and I am a perfectionist who wants only the best for my paws. I have been getting my nails done by Henry for almost 3 years now and he is the best of the best for dip and gel. He has always been able to do any design I have asked for, he works fast, diligently and with focus, is always warm and kind and is patient and eager to make sure I am happy with the end result. He puts up with me and I am a very fussy lady. I've recommended him to many girlfriends now and they all now go to him exclusively. I feel so blessed to have found him and to go to a salon that is clean and beautiful, where the energy is always good. Lovely vibe, lovely people and beautiful nails every time. So I went to Tipsy nails Aug 23 and got a fill with chrome polish and it was 50.00$ When I got home you could see the white on the edges it looks horrible. I called them and told the owner how bad they looked and why was it so much she said it 40.00$for a fill I said I was there 3 weeks ago and it was 35.00 for a fill. I've been going there since they opened and I will not be going back they seem to just charge what they want to it's different every time! read more

I don't know which tech is doing the nice looking nails in the other photos posted on here, but the lady who did my nails did a terrible job. There's literally a bubble under the nail polish on some of my nails, the acrylic application is super uneven, my skin around the nail bed looks more messed up than when I went in, and when I went home I had to finish filing them to make them straight and not jagged. If you decide to go here I hope you have better luck than I did. Not returning to this nail salon. read more

This place was impressive and it leaves me sad that they are in Chico and I was only there for the weekend. If I lived near them, they would definitely be my regular nail spot. Let me tell you about this experience. First, you should know that I've been deprived of any professional nail help for nearly a year. I just hadn't kept up on anything through last winter and then Covid started, so it had been since November for a pedi, and since January for a mani. I had a powerful need y'all. So I walk in (no appointment) and ask about a mani-pedi. A nail tech says they have space for me and asks me to wash my hands. I notice this is the first thing they have every person do when they walk in. Then another nail tech checks my temperature before leading me back to the chair. I know the temperature checking is just security theater, but it still means a lot when a business makes the effort to give people comfort. My nail tech is wearing a mask and a face shield, as are all the other nail techs and all the customers have face masks. Additionally, no two customers were sat next to each other unless they came in together, so there were a lot of empty chairs and plenty of room for distancing. All these positives and I haven't even gotten the mani-pedi yet! Then the nail work started. Despite my poorly cared for nails, my tech was able to complete his task in under an hour, and the quality of the mani-pedi was top notch. It was also only $45 for regular polish. There just weren't any negatives about this experience. I may have to make a nail appointment part of my regular rounds when I visit Chico. read more

I've been getting acrylic nails since just before Halloween, getting fills every 3-4 weeks (one time 6 weeks) and I have not experienced any lifting. In 5 months I've only had one nail break. The nails are so well done I have only been getting fills and have not needed a full set since my initial manicure. I've had a few different manicurists do my nails and it's been great every time. Taylor and Anna are my favorites. Taylor did my initial full set and it was beautiful! Although I haven't gotten nail art she has a carousel of beautiful examples of her work. She's pretty quiet but sometimes you just want a great manicure without a lot of chit-chat. She's also cool and young so I think she'd be good at giving you advice if you weren't sure what style to get and want to keep up with trends. Taylor is super awesome but I have to say Anna is my #1 favorite! Super friendly, does exactly what you ask for, makes nice conversation, checks in to see if everything is working out for you, and I have never had to ask her to fix a mistake. Perfect every time! I got a fill and a deluxe pedicure from her today. She was so quick! I was out in 2 hours! She also gave me a really great foot and calf massage. After waiting many months to get a nice pedicure during this COVID-19 pandemic. I was excited to see that Tipsy Nails & Spa was open. I have been coming here since they opened. Unfortunately I walked into a political parade today. I felt so uncomfortable being in an business atmosphere where i came to relax, But all I can focus on is the workers face shields with big lettering "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" When was america ever in a time of being great, Black SLAVERY, Native American Trail of Tears, Chinese Encampments, Mexican Repatriation, mass deportations, Mass Racial Violence. I can go on and on. But... SERIOUSLY! In these current times where being Black or Brown will get you killed and that's the statement this business owner is making??? I am in disbelief. I love tipsy nails, they should have a much higher rating. I've been coming here on and off (gotta let the nails breathe & heal once in a while) for the last 3/4 years. I usually always have Kim or Ken do my nails but everyone here is great. I always get a full set of acrylics with cute colors/designs. Kim is amazing, she can do anything you want. She can do really great thin lines and art. I usually just show a Pinterest photo and she gets right to work and she's so fast and quick. I love that. Terrible. I usually go here for pedicures and never have a problem , I went in for a full acrylic set and I wanted to cry when I left the salon. I asked if they had a certain top coat to make a design and the male assured me they had it , he tried and tried and couldnt do the design . I told him I'd be fine with a French tip because I could see he was struggling , I didn't get the shape I asked for many of my nails are different shaped the French tip was streaky and uneven , my cuticles were flooded with acrylic and after 2 days the nails started lifting and popping off . waste of money and time read more

Henry is the best manicurist I've ever been to. He takes his time and does outstanding work. I get gel or dip manicures every 2 weeks and gel pedicures about every 2 months. He always gets me in when I request a certain day or time and is really good at hand painting and design I show him from the internet.
