This was my first visit. I went with my friend J as we are doing a coffee adventure together. We are working our way through the alphabet. We did this last year and enjoyed it so much that we are doing it again! I love the fact that the coffee here is roasted on site :) I had a cold brew and it was very smooth, not bitter, a little bit of a natural sweetness to it! I'm in love with Lima's Turmeric latte. Simple as that. It has the perfect spice and warmth to heat up a cool, winter night. The mid-town location is quaint, modern, and clean. It wasn't busy during our visit so parking was easy, but I could see this being an issue during busier times. The staff at the mid-town location was friendly and helpful which is consistent with my experience at their other location in Old Town. I'll probably branch out and try some other stuff eventually, but for now, I'll keep visiting for their Turmeric latte. read more

Not the fastest coffee shop I've ordered at, but the drinks are always consistent. The current Black Forest matcha is INCREDIBLE. I could drink that every day. The cafe is generally busy and it can be tricky to find seating, especially when I've gone on the weekend. read more

Yelp search matcha and you find the cutest cafe Lima Coffee Roasters. They don't have much parking so I parked across the street at Target to walk over. The baristas are on top of it, pros at making your order perfectly. The maple matcha is seasonal and has a whisper of maple flavor. While sweeter than my normal go to matcha latte it was a good special treat. I ordered a medium latte with regular milk and received this beautiful cozy cup. We later tried some sweet treats. The cronut was heated making the chocolate more like Nutella. Soft, flakey, buttery, FULL of chocolate to dip each piece in. Tons of gluten free options if you need it. I loved coming here and there's tons of seating to hang with your friends and family. read more

I don't usually leave bad reviews but this order just wasn't it. I think I had high expectations for the matcha. I ordered the Blueberry Lavender Oat Milk Matcha from the Spring Drink menu and honestly, I could barely taste the matcha. It was super watered down. I've had similar drinks elsewhere where the matcha flavor really stands out, so this one was a letdown. That said, the coffee shop itself is super cute and I love the aesthetic. I also ordered a Croffin with nutella filling and that was actually really good. Definitely the highlight of my visit, which is why I'm giving 2 stars. I'd be willing to give this place another shot but next time I'll probably stick with regular coffee instead. read more

I thought this was a really good experience primarily for ambiance and location. This Lima Coffee Roasters is walking distance from the Toyota dealership where my car needed to be serviced for a recall. I also notice other collision repair places close by. Given such waiting rooms are depressing as hell to me, it was nice to be able to walk to a coffee shop and sit/work and this was really the easiest one. The coffee was good enough, staff is kind. But really what was good was that escapism to a nice ambiance if you happen to be "stuck" in this area of the city. So I greatly appreciate Lima on Mason for that. For some of the reasons others may criticize it here on Yelp may be the reason I wouldn't necessarily return. The parking situation appears difficult and I could see it being swamped in peak hours (not when I went). So given I do not live close to this location, I can't imagine going out of my way to experience this location. Nevertheless, a positive experience for a cup of coffee and to focus on work in a pleasant setting. read more

Positive experience here this morning. Ordering process was efficient and young lady taking the orders was very friendly. The coffee and tea we got were tasty and the restaurant itself is actually quite spacious with a number of tables and even a little back area with more seating. Many people seemed to be enjoying the space for working or studying and it was a pretty quiet vibe which allowed that. read more

Great local coffee shop! The indoors is decorated so cute, with ample seating. WiFi available. I came here because I was craving an almond croissant and this is the first place that popped up, and I'm so glad I came. The almond croissant was amazing, so delicious and fresh! There were other pastry options, including at least one gluten free option and some heat to order bites available as well. I tried the coconut latte iced and I'm obsessed. The drinks and food are good . The service was fast and friendly. It's a decent size place with 2 separate areas to sit . It's a great place to do a bit of work if you don't need it to be super quiet. It was busy on the day we visited and was quite loud.... everyone having a good time :-) We enjoyed our visit and will definitely go back. The only negative was the parking situation. It's a small parking lot with stalls and a few parallel spots along the one side of the lot. All other businesses and parking lots near by post " no coffee shop parking". Had to back backwards out of the parking lot onto main road to get out. Still.... a great coffee shop and fun place to meet up with friends. Can't wait for my next cup of coffee here read more

Literally the best chai latte I've ever had (and I've had a LOT of chai from around the US). The barista was super sweet and chatted with me a bit. I had to camp out for a few hours to do work and study but it wasn't too busy and the plants and music made the environment really comfortable. Highly recommend! If you order some of the delicious cheese bread along with a beverage be sure to IMMEDIATELY grab your baked good when your name is called! Even if you are still waiting for your drink; otherwise, the barista may be frustrated and flippantly toss your food behind one of their hipster plants! Lima Coffee Roasters is absolutely the best coffee in Fort Collins, CO. I typically buy the freshly roasted Kenya coffee each week from Diego, the roaster/owner - who is incredible. The coffee is simply amazing - and I have been buying specialty coffee for more than 40 years - starting with Peet's in Berkely, CA. In addition, when visiting any of the three locations (Midtown, Old Town, and the Foothills Mall), the service is fantastic - and there is nothing like a pour-over coffee. In addition, the pastry treats are from the Creperie - which is the best in Fort Collins. Keep up the great work. David read more
