I now understand why they have received such great feedback from patients- I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me in within a couple of days. The lady that answered the phone was very friendly and professional. Upon arrival, I was greeted with smiling faces. The office was very clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was SO nice and checked me in with ease. I was brought to the back and examined by Dr. Simpson. We reviewed the reason for my visit and I was asked what my smile goals are. I let Dr. Simpson know that I wanted my teeth to be PERFECTLY straight. She suggested Invisalign and thoroughly discussed the benefits. Her and the staff took photos, scans, and x-rays of my teeth which didn't take long at all. I felt like a celebrity! The technology they have in-office is amazing and efficient. I was told in detail how the process would work and even got to see what my smile would look like once the treatments were completed! I had braces as a teenager but never wore my retainer which caused my teeth to shift. I wanted them back to how they used to be. Dr. Simpson reassured me that this goal is achievable. I felt highly confident on moving forward with Invisalign. Although it's important to invest in your health and well-being, I assumed the cost of this treatment would be a barrier for me. However, they were able to provide a custom payment plan that fit my budget perfectly. Making Smiles couldn't have made it any easier for me! What stood out to me the most was the lady at the front desk- Summer. She was so friendly and inviting from the moment I walked in. Summer answered all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. She was full of knowledge and taught me so much. 10/10 highly recommend. (Initially I was told they did, then later on they said they did not.) They referred me somewhere else (which turned out to be less quality care.) I was told when we got our insurance back we could return. Finally when I got my kids back on their previous insurance, they wouldn't take me back. At first, they said "they just aren't taking previous patients back." I asked if they could make an exception due to my child's serious dental issues (and the extensive work Dr M had done, which was now being ruined by another dentist.) I was placed on hold, when another staff member picked up and said the real reason was actually because I had allegedly hung up on them once, several years ago. This is what I'm talking about when I say the staff gives bad information. Which is it- do you no longer take previous patients, or are you holding a grudge because you think I hung up on you years ago? Either way- putting your pride before the needs of a small child is awful behavior. Dr Moffatt cares about his patients but the staff does not.

We were accustomed to receiving a detailed receipt of services provided, which did not happen during this visit. When I called to inquire about the charge, I was informed that the additional costs were due to X-rays and the fact that my child is now considered an adult patient. This information was not communicated to us at any point during the visit or in advance, and we were not made aware of any potential additional charges. Further, when I requested to speak with Dr. Moffett directly to clarify the situation, I received a call from Erica, your office manager, who informed me that you would not be speaking with me and that the office would issue a refund for the charges in question. While I appreciate the refund offer, I am left feeling disappointed by the lack of transparency and communication. This experience is in contrast to the level of service we've received over the past decade, and I would have hoped for a more thoughtful resolution. Additionally, Erica mentioned that we will need to find another dentist for our children, which was disheartening to hear given our history with your practice.

I was assured by Dr English I would have access to the scan, if it was beyond his level of expertise. I paid 380.00 for the scan to see if Apex dental could do the dental work I needed. Now I have personally been denied my records including to another dentistry office and North Alabama Oral Facial specialist. I will say Dr English was always good to me and I trusted his opinion of my dental needs. I sadly would not recommend their dental practices and front office personnel. Update Dr English called this morning and acknowledged the impact of the issue and inconvenience this may have caused. I appreciated his understanding and he politely explained the troubles of sharing the Scan. He was so kind to take time out of his day and acknowledge the issue with being able to share the X-ray. He even discussed my particular case in detail . I thanked him for the call and appreciated him for personally reaching out to me.

Avoid Complete Dental on Madison Blvd. at all costs! I would give a negative 5 stars if I could.
