I had the Gourmet Chicken Salad Croissant after reading positive reviews about it. The chicken salad has pineapple and mandarin oranges in it but it does not taste sweet. The walnuts give it a nice crunch. With all of the choices on the menu, it will be hard to pass on this one to try something else. I also had a cup of the tomato basil soup. Without a doubt, this place has the best sandwiches and soups in town! But everything is prepared individually, so it is not "fast" food. You will need 30-45 minutes. It is worth the wait. Terrence has it going on. So many healthy options and a nice little "small-town" feel to the place. Terrence greets us each time, and we know the food will be cooked or made fresh when we order. With that being said, it may take a bit longer, but the food is worth the wait. The chicken salad is the best around, and the chicken provolone wrap is sensational. We finished a long day of hiking and required substantial refueling. This quant little spot didn't disappoint. The food is great! We had the southwest chicken wrap, the double decker club, and the tuna wrap. All were excellent! My dog even got two scoops of chicken salad and devoured it. The owners are a very sweet couple that's been doing this for 19 years. They've definitely got it figured out. They even have a local young woman who bakes for the cafe and her cheesecake is perfect! You might walk right past this place and not even notice it as the sign on the door is small and the inside is very basic. You order up front and take a seat. You would however miss some delicious sandwiches though. I had 1/2 Jamaican curry wrap and 1/2 Thanksgiving turkey wrap. My husband had 1/2 turkey Reuben and 1/2 French dip. All were delicious. I don't like that they don't take credit or debit card, but the food and service more than make up for it. They are very friendly and the soups are delicious. I would eat here regularly if they took debit cards. The space is good for people to eat in, but most get food to go. They are a great sandwich shop. read more
