Lime Brixton is a Caribbean bar/ cafe which sells cocktails, and other alcoholic beverages and coffees and food.
Even though I've not been to the Caribbean,Lime gives me that vibe with their chilled out ambience....it's got that beach hut feel, that makes you want to drink cocktails on the beach....*sigh* one day!
I had the pleasure of ordering a a Pattie meal for a £5...seriously cheap for Brixton village far as I'm concerned! The meal included any patties of your choice, with sweet potato fries, salad and coslaw with a barbecue like rum sauce. I chose the cheesy beef Pattie which I throughly enjoyed every morsel. Loved the vibrant colour of the fries and the crunchy sweet taste of the Sweet potato fries and the sauce accompanied it well. The veg sides were nothing to sing home about, but was nice to have a fresh taste to balance the robustness of the Pattie.
The customer service was perfect, on a very hot day in London was quick to offer me a glass of water with ice. I didn't want to drink, but next time I'll come an order a cocktail.
They do also have free wifi.
In the busyness of Brixton village on a weekend it was nice to sit in Lime and chill in the shade was Devine with cool smooth jazz in the background....it just needed the Palm trees to add to it. read more
