After getting several estimates to repaint the hood on my 2010 Lexus IS250C due to severe clear coat failure and bubbling, Abdias' quote came in nearly $400 less than the competition. On top of that, he backed his work with a 3-year warranty, while the other shops only offered one year. Once the hood was sanded down to the bare metal, Abdias discovered the bubbling wasn't simply from clear coat failure--it was the result of a poor repair done years earlier. When I purchased the car used from a dealership in 2015, one of the conditions of the sale was that they repair a dent in the hood. Instead of properly repairing it, they had simply covered the damaged area with body filler (Bondo), leaving the dent underneath. Abdias took the time to show me exactly what he had uncovered and explained what would be required to repair it properly. While the additional bodywork wasn't included in the original estimate and did increase the cost, I truly appreciated his honesty and transparency. He gave me the option of doing it the right way instead of simply covering up someone else's poor workmanship--and I'm so glad I chose the proper repair. The finished result is absolutely beautiful. The hood is perfectly smooth, the paint match to the fenders is flawless, and it honestly looks factory new. I also asked if he could rub out, polish, and wax the car while it was there. Once again, he exceeded my expectations by restoring my yellowed headlights to a crystal-clear finish, making them look brand new. It was an unexpected touch that made the entire car look years younger. It's rare these days to find someone who is this honest, meticulous, and committed to quality. Abdias clearly takes pride in his work and made sure I understood every step of the process. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Abs Collision Repair.
