I love it! Jenny cut my hair today and she also did an eyebrow wax and shape. It was my first time there and I already scheduled my next two appointments. She did a great job, cut it just the way I like. The salon is super clean, very open and airy, and extremely comfortable. The shampoo sink and chair are actually comfortable and that is very uncommon. Jenny is down to earth, polite, very conscientious about her customer's likes and desires, and very welcoming. I have to add that her prices are so reasonable it was surprising to me. I look forward to a long stylist/client relationship. I've been going to Limelight for color and cut for nearly two years now. Jennie, the owner, does a great job every time and is extremely attentive to my requests on cut, shape, scheduling, etc. The service and ambiance of a more expensive salon at quite a reasonable price. Limelight Salon is the best... contemporary and inviting... filled with smiling faces and good energy. It's not one of those impersonal hustling & bustling hair factories. Limelight provides an upscale salon experience at reasonable prices. Marie Ghilardi has been my stylist for years. She is tremendously talented! I just place myself in her very capable hands as soon as I walk through the door and I always walk out feeling amazing! I am so thrilled that I gave this place a chance! My daughter has been begging to get her hair colored and I finally caved. I have no experience with colored hair or what to expect, and Jenny was very thorough in her explanation in the procedure, aftercare etc that it really helped my daughter and I know what to expect. I have been going to Limelight Salon for seven plus years now. I was new to Hudson and wanted to fInd a salon closer to home. I found Limelight doing a search, made an appointment with Jenny, and haven't left since! The salon is very clean, calming, and has a great vibe. Jenny is truly a wonderful stylist.....she listens, informs, accommodates, and recommends and I couldn't be happier with the results. I love this salon and Jenny! The atmosphere at Limelight is warm and inviting. Melissa has been doing my hair for years and she is very reasonably priced and does an amazing job. She is not afraid to recommend a new cut or color and won't let you leave the chair until you are 100% satisfied. She goes out of her way to accommodate your schedule and has even gone in on her day off when I needed my hair done for a special occasion. My stylist was the owner - Jenny. I took in couple photos and tried to be as specific as I could about what I liked and didn't like. She seemed to be listening every time she did my hair ( total 3 times), but she never did what I asked her to do. It was always too dark, and a low light I asked to put in a specific place next to the bangs wasn't there every time she did my hair. Only once I called and asked to fix my hair, and she got very upset and kind of refused to do it. She said that I ask too many questions about my hair and she didn't like it. Instead of trying to fix my hair she said she will return the money. Unfortunatly I have to go somewhere else to fix her mistakes. In my opinion it is very unprofessional. Marie has been my stylist for 10 years now, maybe more? She's absolutely wonderful! She understands what I want, and while she's happy to try something different- she doesn't push me into anything that wouldn't suit my personality and style. Marie takes the time to listen to what I'm hoping to achieve, and I never walk away disappointed. Her foils are so beautiful, I'm frequently asked where I get my hair done. It's a good feeling to have a stylist that is consistent, and knows my hair so well! I'm also impressed by the way she continues to educate herself with new products and techniques, staying current with her knowledge within the industry. All that, aaaand she's a total sweetheart! I look forward to sitting in her chair and chatting, it's always a pleasant experience. Limelight is a great salon, I love the warm, friendly, relaxing atmosphere they offer. I have been going to Jenny of Limelight Salon for about 6 years now. I couldn't possibly be happier with her services. I'm an extremely picky person when it comes to how my hair is cut and styled, but even more so when it comes to color. I always trust her implicitly, and generally leave things up to her discretion as far as cut and color (with the exception of a few occasions that I had something particular in mind that I wanted to try). She has never, ever, remotely steered me wrong, while coming up with fun and creative ideas that I would have never thought of myself. I constantly get complimented and asked who does my hair and always carry her cards and pass them along to people as to be sure to point them in the right direction! She is upfront as far as what or cannot be done safely (such as in my case I may not immediately get some crazy color I thought would be fun to try, as I'm a color addict and by changing my hair colors constantly sometimes it just is not feasible to do certain things to my hair after pushing it to its limits -and then some- multiple times) but she will always explain her rationale, and I really respect her for that. I will be honest and say that most of the time I leave it up to her to have fun with the cut or color, something I have never even considered with anyone else with my hair, and am constantly amazed at what she comes up with and how she manages to match my quirky style! Prior to moving to NH, I would get my hair done at some extremely upscale, overpriced salons in the Boston, Providence, and the NYC area, yet I had trouble once finding a stylist I liked and could truly trust once I moved to NH. This all changed when I was introduced to Jenny about 6 or so years ago. Limelight Salon is new, modern, absolutely beautiful, and much thought has gone into even the smallest of details. While I have not personally used the services of any of the other stylists there, I know others that do and have heard nothing but extremely positive experiences from their customers. They are all so extremely courteous, and only enhances the warm, inviting, fun, and relaxing environment. The energy, enthusiasm, and attentive staff is intoxicating which is almost guaranteed to leave you feeling recharged, gorgeous, and in an instantly uplifted mood. I highly recommended Jenny to everyone I know and will always do so. I wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else and personally think this is a how all salon experiences should be.
