I live in Manchester and travel all the way to Hudson just to see Vivian, for myself and my daughter. My daughter has kinky curly hair and Vivian is very patient with her and the end results are always amazing. Bella refuses to see anyone else and always asks when can we go see Vivian again. Debbie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave me the exact cut that I asked for and worked with my extremely long hair with precision. You could definitely tell that she has had years of experience from the wash, cut, and blow dry. She took extra time to flat iron with care so I could wear my hair through the weekend for an event. And this was the last appointment of the day so I'm sure she was ready to go home, but she treated me like the first client of the day. I usually get my haircut by Karen here, but being impulsive me I wanted it the day I called. Vivian told me Karen was off and I said I needed my hair done for that night. I'm so disappointed. I went in on a whim last week. I called like 20 mins ahead and asked if they had time for a trim and they did. I don't get my hair cut often but I wanted to treat myself. Boy what a disappointment, I've been here a few times but this was the last. my hair is going to probably take a year to get it back where it was. I asked for a trim with some layering in the back. In turn I got no layers in the back, it's like a blunt straight cut. That can be fixed. The worst part is I am growing my hair out and it finally was reaching my shoulders. She cut the front of my hair to my jaw line. The sides are uneven with each other and it's all very blunt, straight. Some pieces are long that were missed. I just can't believe she was a hair stylist. I look like I have a subtle mullet. It's really upsetting and I want my money back. I didn't say anything there because I didn't really get to really look at it. It's just so messed up. My hair is really important to me and I've had some bad haircuts but this was the worst of the worst. Writing off salons. This is horrible. I lost so much confidence and I only wear my hair back in a band now. The front half has to be pinned because it's so damn short. It doesn't even make sense. I used to be able to wear my hair in a bun after growing out a pixie for quite some time and now all of my hair in the front can't stay in the pony in the back of my head which my bangs and sides always stayed on the pony but now they fall forward. Never ever again!! She was a really sweet person and she was nervous but she was nice. I just didn't realize my hair could get jacked up this badly. So sad. read more

When it was Hair We Are it was better. The new place just isn't warm and friendly. I went a few times when they changed their name and moved but stopped going. They are very over priced for the quality of what you get. Doing away with the pedicure and manicure was a big mistake. It makes it easier to get everything done in one place. Then it makes it worth the trip. I will not be going back. read more

In this difficult economy, I'm sure making the decision to downsize was not an easy decision for the owner Robyn Watson. Visited the salon for the first time tonight and had a wonderful experience! I went in with grown out roots and my blonde hair had turned very brassy. Janae did an amazing job, really taking the time to listen to my needs/concerns and was so attentive throughout the process. The shampooing was easily my favorite part except for the results of course, it was soo relaxing. I left with gorgeous shiny blonde hair and some new products to better maintain my color in the future. I will absolutely be back to Salon 25 and to see Janae in particular! read more

I am glad I went to Yelp before I went anywhere. Salon 25 had the best reviews so I went there and I am so glad I did. My hair was so long, straight and heavy, now it is shoulder-length, layered and light. I love my new hair. I can't wait to go back for my highlights. Amanda was great! I went in for a simple eyebrow wax. I said clean it up and even my brows out(as they dont grow exactly the same)a common issue. I expected that it would be good service since the salon was beautiful and front desk clerk was very nice!! I got horrible service and the woman was rude and blamed it on my eyebrows. I said that i realize that my brows dont grow exactly the same but thats why i came to a professional. I have somewhere to go in a week and am left w one very thin brow with bald patches and a much lower thicker right brow with bald patches and stray hairs too. I reccommend if you want a good brow waxing. DONT GO HERE!! TO TOP IT OFF THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AS WELL AND COULDNT FIX IT EITHER. Neither of them apologized, was awful service and attitude!!! Ive never had to deal with such incompitence on what should be a simple service!! Wish my other brow girl did not move far away!!! The only right thing is that i didnt pay!!!
