Great sports bar to watch all the games. Good food, and drinks served by Brandon! I've been a couple times now and enjoyed myself.

Service was fantastic! Everyone in the establishment was very friendly. The music choice provides a nice environment and there were plenty of tvs to watch games. I only wish the food was a little bit better. Regarding wings, most of the spicier options for sauces were just a splash of the original sauce (ex bbq) overpowered by hot sauce. read more

This 5 star review is purely for the food. And by food I mean their chicken wings. In my opinion Limelite has the best wings in the CSRA. Perfectly fried, not too big not too small, and delicious sauces and seasonings. They have a special available for $30 you get 20 wings, fries or tots, and a pitcher of beer. I suggest getting their mild-yaki sauce. Perfect blend of spicy with a little sweet and it's not your typical thick teriyaki. I don't know how they do it but I wish I could recreate it. I haven't been to Limelite since they were in their old location. I used to go and eat the crawfish and drink beers w/friends. Today I went w/my mom and my daughter specifically for the wing special and didn't even look at the menu. So this review is for the $25 special which includes 20 wings, huge portion of fries(we got tater tots), and a pitcher of domestic beer. We enjoyed our food. We ordered 10 lemon pepper and 10 mild wings. Pretty decent price! The lemon pepper wings were slightly overpowered with lemon though, even for a lemon lover. The mild wings were really good. The curly fries were our favorite! read more

The joys of finding a small bar with a mixture of people and amazing bartenders! When visiting Augusta I made sure to stop in on the advice of a good friend who is in here all the time. The atmosphere is exactly what I'd expect, smoky, loud, mixture of music, and just great vibes. Unfortunately, I did not get my bartenders name but he was amazing.. i asked him what his favorite drink to make was and he poured me up a Bob Marley(which was great!). My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered 20 wings mild-yaki and spicy lemon pepper which both were so good! Limelite will definitely be seeing me again. read more

The perfect Thursday night spot! It's a super casual local bar, so my expectations aren't SUPER high. But you literally can't beat their $25 special (pitcher of beer, 20 wings, and fries). A lot of my friends go here, however I've only been a few times. All of my experiences were bad. I was never impressed by the customer service of the bar-tenders, and the bouncers are uber-annoying. In fact, the entire staff is straight up RUDE. The place is generally packed too (I don't know why). I went during occasions like trivia and fight-nights and there was no room to sit, and barely room to stand. The only good thing about this bar is that it's located directly across from the movie theater. I've been here before for drinks with friends. Today was the first day I came in during the day for lunch with my wife. It's 12:30 in the afternoon and this man is mopping the restaurant with strong bleach. I politely asked this jack ass to stop mopping in front of us as we are eating, I can't enjoy my food Because I'm nauseated and he rudely tell me he's doing me a favor and that it's just bleach. Long story short, no one apologized for this horrible ass service and he cursed me to the point where we're literally yelling back and forth. Pretty average bar. Has two dartboards, two pool tables, and an average selection of draft beers. The bar is also fairly smokey because smoking is allowed inside. If you're looking for a place to hang out with a few friends before or after a movie, I'd recommend the place, but I wouldn't really go out of my way to go here (one plus is that they do serve food till late night). read more

Was really excited to try it out with my best friend because i was only in town for 1 day, for the 4th of July. We got there and the line was long which is not a problem and i asked if he knew anyone that may be able to expedite the process. A friend of his came out that appeared to have some pull, so we followed him in like we were told to do. As we were coming in the "door person" whom appeared to be an off duty deputy because his shirt said "sheriff ", yelled at us rudely after we were already 12 feet in and said "get out". He did even hardly notice us at first due to his infatuation with his girlfriend or side piece, whatever the situation. That told me there, that i didn't want to go in, if they allow a power hungry Barney Fife to work the door. He was the type that is given a little power and badge and gives law enforcement a bad name. No people skills or respect whatsoever. He acted like he was the door man at Tao or some mega club or doing something aggregious. May try going back someday but hopefully rude officer Karen will not be working. All he would had to do was tell us politely that we couldn't go in with the friend of a friend. read more

Limelight is your typical american bar with american bar food. If you mind smoke and a little above loud talking then this might not be the place for you. There is always a mix of people in limelight which I think makes the energy high. On this particular night, they were having quiz night challenges and some of the answers were hilarious, but all in good fun. The new bartender is a mixologist when it comes to drinks and aims to please. If you sit down at a table and have not been approached by a waiter/waitress then most likely they are slammed so just head to the bar place your order and you will receive a number for table so they will know where to bring the food. Could they have better ventilation considering smoking is not prohibited..eh yea. I ordered my wings double cooked (my mistake) and they were let's say a little leathery and too salty for my taste. Now that I think about it, even if they were cooked right the wings were too salty period. Went here on a Saturday for trivia and it was awesome. Great bar food ($20 for 20 wings, a pitcher of beer, and a small fry, which is the size of two large fists). Trivia was awesome, get there early if you want to play so you can get a table. The best part about this sports bar is that you can still SMOKE in it. The ventilation was great as we hardly smelled any residual smoke when we walked in. Great bar to get some decent bar food and watch a game, or play trivia on Thursday and Saturday. They have changed up the bartenders yet again. thank goodness. $7 for a cheeseburger with fries is and it tastes really good. I believe it is well worth the price. Drinks prices are ok and service is a bit slow. The bathrooms are dirty and the inside is smoky. Its your classic dive. Me and my girlfriend went here last weekend while we were waiting for our movie to start...I must stay I really enjoyed myself. Sometimes bars are a hit and miss in Augusta. This was my first time going and I love going to bars where I can eat and drink! We ordered the wing special...20 wings, a pitcher of beer and a huge basket of fries...it was $20. We ordered half lemon peper and mild wings the small basket of curly fries looked like a large! I took my wings home she took her wings and fries and we had to give half the pitcher of beer to the gentleman who was sitting next to us. I also ordered a Lemon Drop which was perfect! If you are anoyed with smoking then this is not the place for you, I'm glad we were headed to the movies bc my eyes were burning from all the smoke. read more
