The service was excellent, beginning with the host whose welcome and conversation matched the feel of the place itself. Our Server, Rafe, was excellent too! He explained the menu in a way that made me want to try everything on it in one night. He too, had no trouble striking up and keeping conversation, but not awkwardly, nor overwhelmingly. He is also a sommelier, and can also make a wonderful Black Walnut Manhattan! Rafe's service was so good that my wife and I might regularly ask for his service when dinning there. Then there's the food. It was worth every penny! The meat was so tender and delicious in my Ibérico Pork dish that I cleaned the plate, and the risotto with shrimp and scallops in my wife's dish had both of us wanting more of it. I plan to go back to at least also try the fillet and the rack of lamb, which are certainly both on my list. Yet, since my description can only be like seeing a picture of something that is better experienced in person, I will recommend to anyone that they try this restaurant for themselves.
