We really appreciated that she thoroughly explained the process, but made it relaxing and let us work at our own pace! When you are making your candles you can choose from a variety of scents. You are then instructed to make 3 different scent options. Your nose will tell you which one you like best! She was then so helpful to get the wax melted for us and we poured our own candles. It takes about an hour for them to set once poured. However, Bri, was more than ok with us continuing to walk around Main st while the candles set. One tip we thought was awesome was, she held onto our "scent recipes" and once our creations burn out we can always reach back out to have more of our scent creations created. This would be the perfect activity for a weekend with friends, a bachelorette party, or just a cute activity with your someone special!

Eric was so knowledgeable, helpful and patient in helping us create the perfect candle scent, the French way. Be aware that candies need some setting up time before taking them home. I recommend starting your Galena trip here and then go have lunch and/or a stroll in the city before returning to pick up the lovely packaged candle and/or perfume! I really enjoyed hearing the French music in the background as it helped create the perfect atmosphere. You should stop in! Yelp, I wish you'd get the address correct so next time I stop I can check in! As it is, it has this shop existing about 7 miles west, so when one is standing in the store it says I'm too far away. Darnit! The woman who was working--ostensibly the owner--was so friendly immediately upon walking in that I felt like she really enjoyed just having customers walk around and visit. She chatted with me as I walked through the store (jamming to the Earth, Wind, and Fire she had playing; man they just make me want to move). There's an eclectic mix of goodies here. Lots of wind chimes, wall art, glass artwork, jewelry. I was able to avoid picking up additional rings, and got a few chains for some a few pendants that I have but haven't been able to wear since I don't have a necklace for them. I also appreciated that she helped me think about how I could find similar stores, giving me a couple of keywords to use when looking, since I often struggle to find the type of sterling and gemstone jewelry I like. If (probably when) I visit Galena again I will be stoping at Nature's Treasures. I probably wouldn't have stopped here without others on Yelp mentioning it so thanks folks! Another night on the couch for me. I saw Jamie's Candle Loft on my way to satisfy my Chicken George craving (I swear they put heroin in that) and thought I'd check it out. I got this candle that smells like orange caramel muffins holy cow I wanted to eat the damn thing! Then I found this that you can hang that has the words to, "You Are My Sunshine". BINGO! I brought these home along with the Chicken George with some extra Jan's Sauce and everything was all well in the world again. Thanks Jamie!
