I chose what they call "The Assist" package. With this package, they set up your QuickBooks and manage your books for a month; all along teaching you how to do it yourself at the end of a 3-month period. The team did a good job guiding me through the process. I most appreciate that Little Fish Accounting is very responsive. All my e-mail questions are acknowledged and answered within a reasonable amount of time (usually w/i 48 hours). I feel very prepared to manage my books going forward. I've taken them up on the offer to work with them so have updated the review initially and provide a final review once completed. ______________________________ Let me say the reason I reached out to Capitol CPA is because of their excellent reviews and they were my first pick. However, it's difficult to go with a company or trust them with your taxes when they can't even respond to you in a timely manner or at all. Let me detail my experience below: December 16, 2019: Send an inquiry through their website asking about availability for new clients. Receive a response from Steven that they're currently evaluating their capacity and will get back to me in a week. I respond immediately asking if I should follow up in a week or if they'll let me know? *CRICKETS* December 26, 2019: Ask for an update. Hear nothing, follow up with an inquiry through their website December 31, 2019: Receive a response from Steven apologizing for letting this slip through the cracks. They have room for new clients and ask for information. I respond an hour later with the information. *CRICKETS* January 19, 2019: Another follow up. Ask for an update. *CRICKETS* January 31, 2019: I give up. However, over the past month I have been met with absolute silence since I sent a email with a specific tax question per my investment advisor. I have called and left voicemails and sent follow up emails to Mustafa and Steven and again with absolute crickets. It's extremely puzzling to the point I am wondering if they have closed for business or on sabbatical. If not it's unacceptable and disappointing. At this point, I will go elsewhere for future and current needs.
