A simple "I understand" or "Please let us know if you'd like to reschedule" would have been appropriate. Instead, I received a dismissive and unnecessarily rude response that left me feeling unwelcome. Based on this interaction, I wouldn't feel comfortable booking with this business again. Professionalism and respect should be part of the customer experience, even when a client has to cancel unexpectedly.

When I showed it, the woman just shook her head at me and said no, $40. Credit card fee is $4 - yikes! So, lesson learned, don't forget the cash.
