The first reviewer is right - it is odd to find something like this in a farmer's market, and the massage is serious. My last chair massage worked out a number of knots in my shoulders and neck, and my questions were expertly answered. The fee seems standard - about a dollar a minute, less so the longer the massage goes on. This was $19 for a 20 minute massage, plus tip. Well worth it, because the rest of my weekend just felt better. I'll be back.

Ray offers an awesome deep tissue among other therapies such as hot stone, Swedish and sports massage sessions; He's sure to apply pressure while asking you to tell him what feels right, being sure not to over or under-do the pressure. When I go in to see him, I usually feel old and things aren't working quite like they should, and when I leave, I feel like he took years of aging away, and the effect lasts for several months, until life beats up my body again. His office is not super fancy, but the work he does is top shelf, and he is also a consummate professional in that work - he's very respectful, communicates great with clients, and gets the work done so very well. For close to two years David has been the champion. You know how you have a few knots, real doozies and the therapist glances over them. You can tell they found it, but its almost like they are scared to deal with it so they just go back to rubbing your back. Not David. In a matter of a few seconds, he takes a deep breath, considers his plan of attack and commences on the knots, rocks and pebbles that develop from sitting improperly at my computer desk under freezing air for 8 hours a day. There is no reason for me to go to a nearby mall when he will do a 30 minute chair. I've had a full body from him before and it was wonderful. My mother thought so too. I wish I had the time and the money to do it more often but its OK. If he can fit me in for a 30 minute chair I can go back to functioning, being way more active and not living with a whole bunch of aches and pains. His place is cozy , there is music and scents in the background. The table is heated. All sorts of gentle apparatus to assist in kink removal, heated stones and the like.
