Consistly incorrect orders. Wether it was fried rice or not having all of the stated ingredients. Skimpy with the meat ingredients especially. Staff ignored me for ten minutes, three different wait staff ignored me, wouldn't even make eye contact let alone let me know that they would get to me. And when they finally did acknowledge me they got my name and then said they would be taking the next customer!!! Lunch menu items are deceptively listed as $7.95. I select Mongolian Stir Fry, "choose your meat", so I choose beef. Then bill comes and its $8.95. Waitress said it's because the beef adds a dollar. This isn't mentioned on menu, and same happened with wife's Broccoli Beef. So for $7.95 I guess you just get onions and rice with Mongolian Stir-fry and just broccoli and rice with the Broccoli Stir-fry. The lunch was good and the up charge wasn't that much, but just aggravated us enough to change from "we'd come back" to "not coming back". read more

I thought this was going to be a good place to get sushi- I was serially wrong. I ordered 1 "special" sushi and 1 order of normal sushi and it costed me over 40$ in total- delivery fee included. Serially ridiculous with the price. When it came to the actual food, the regular sushi roll was fishy and the special roll was completely flavorless when it came to inside ingredients and the fish was also sushi. I have seen back n fourth comments about this place and I was really hoping for the best but it seriously not worth the money or the time - Ichiban sushi and steak house is way better, it might be expensive but if I'm going to pay 40$ for sushi again it's going to be from Ichiban read more

Swooon! This place so good. We stopped here on the way to a girls softball tournament and were very impressed. Fantastic selection of items, very well prepared, and attentive staff. Our server was from China and spent some time chatting with us about what part of China our daughter is from, and what we liked about dining when we visited the country a few years ago. This is my second time dining in this restaurant. The first time, the chicken satay was burnt and tasted burnt and they still served it like that. I thought it was a fluke but I just dined in yesterday once again, this time I ordered the Korean Ribs. When the server brought them, they weren't burnt! I immediately stated, these are burnt. She looked at me and said she'd take them back. My issue is... Whyyyyyy would you allow burnt food to be served first of all??!!!!!????!!!! When they brought me a new order of Korean ribs, this time they looked better. Not great but better. When I tasted it, the meat tasted old or rotted. My daughter who was with my tasted it as well and said the same thing. At this point, I didn't bother saying anything and tried to eat the parts that tasted okay. However this place has overall rude servers and the food taste old or rotted. When you let them know they don't even offer an apology. I will definitely NOT be going back. Wonderful atmosphere good food selection great flavors. I recommend the Crying Thaiger plate but would ask for extra chilies or chili oil for the plate it's viewed as a spicy dish but I feel it could be a lot spicier I do not blame the establishment for it not being as hot as I want because I enjoy extremely hot painful food laugh out loud good assortment of food to choose from including sushi rolls a great drink list and always a helpful smile server I would recommend for anybody in the area wanting Thai cuisine read more

Just had dinner there. The food was great! I especially enjoyed the coconut soup. For the food, I would come back again. However, it seems like our server was inexperienced. When we order our food, the menu says that Basil Fried Rice is 9.99 with free choice of meats(beef, pork, etc) and shrimp for $2. However, the they added $1 to our check for having the beef in our Fried Rice. When we ask him what's going on, he mumbled something like you ordered white rice, blablabla(he mixed up with our orders). So I asked again, no my point was why the Fried Rice is $1 more than stated on the menu? He mumbled because of the pandemic, we have to import the meat, blablablabala. I asked again, was it stated on the menu? He mumble no... Soooooo, I gave the restaurant a 3 star. 1 dollar means nothing to us. But my point is that it would have make a huge difference if he mentioned about the price of the meat first before giving us the check. Anyway, food is good. read more

Love this place! We started with lettuce wraps. To be honest, they're so good, you could and would make a meal out of these gems! The downside? You would deprive yourself of the entreaties! I love mushrooms, so I ordered the Three Samurai Mushrooms. Added beef for protein and brown rice. It was to die for, a few well chosen asparagus slices, and a pleasant back pepper sauce. Would recommend! My better half had the Mango Coconut Fried rice. It, too, was delish! Looks like typical strip mall fare from the outside, but oh so good on the inside! Generally I have a good experience when I eat at Lina's. The lunch menu is a really good value and if not busy, the service is quick. We did go with a party of 8 and had to wait for an hour for our food, but that was more of the exception than the rule. Has a nice room in back of your have a larger group and I don't think they charge extra to book it? Not positive - but good option for a large family or meeting. Bathrooms could use a deep cleaning- but not terrible. read more

The best Thai Restaurant I have ever been to. The sushi rolls are delicious and all the veggies and meat are fresh. My favorite dish is the Thai Chili Cashew with chicken. You can also tell them how spicy hot you want your meal from a range of 1 to 5. I can't take any more than a 3, but it's delicious. You must try this restaurant if you are in Dubuque. read more

I'm perplexed to all the great reviews on this place. The atmosphere is eclectic bistro with a mix of ma and pa, but that could have been overlooked had the food been good. We ordered an appetizer of edamame that took quite some time to get and was very over cooked. Next were the main courses. My fiancé got the Texas roll and I got a stir fry. His roll came out not long after the edamame and my food was promised soon there after. Now I know sometimes this happens at restaurants when sushi and cooked food are ordered. What isn't ok is how long I waited for said entree. My fiancé was well done eating and waiting for my food to come. We both got to watch each-other eat it was a great date night. My food wasn't that great, I did eat 50% of it though because I hadn't eaten anything all day, so it was edible. What was good was our waitress. That's why this review got 2 stars Vs 1. Just based on the ambiance of the restaurant and the great looking menu, I would have thought this place was great! The food was lacking in flavor and cook. I had the spicy lettuce cup appetizer, a chicken tom yum soup, a elephant roll, and pork pad see ewe. The lettuce cups(thai chicken larb) was tough, and not very spicy. The elephant roll was delicious. The Tom yum soup was ok but lacking spice and also had whole chilis in it. The pork pad see ewe was once again lacking flavor and needs more veggies. I have worked for a Thai restaurant in the past that was run by a Thai family that produced very excellent tasting thai food, so I have a very high bar for that. For what it is, this place is worth trying. Plenty of space and value for large groups with diverse appetites. The staff were very nice and helpful. I found it peculiar that they are not thai, lao, Cambodian, Hmongn or vietnamese (regions that this cuisine is local to). I think they are Chinese. This led to confusion when I asked about traditional thai dishes, which they did not have. The place was very nice and clean, there was a good vibe in the dining area. Price was a bit high for what I received I think, and I was a bit sad that the "spicey" level 5 was not really spicey. Also my dish was not the powerful flavors of thai food that I'm used to, so for me it was a bit underwhelming. Overall I will be returning. We got the Seafood Hot Pot and were disappointed in it and especially in the service. It took far too long for us to be given water initially, but finally after a long wait and a mediocre sushi roll, we got the Hot Pot. Unfortunately, we weren't given any bowls or spoons, which we had to go out of our way to remind our server to bring us. We also weren't refilled on our empty waters or asked if we wanted another beer, which we did. Then, the flame on our hot pot went out almost immediately and it was a complicated process to get it relit. We were also given no instructions on how to cook our food in the hot pot, which kinda seems like a safety hazard. The food itself was fine, but we probably didn't cook it perfectly given that we had no instructions. The clams, though, were extremely sandy to the point where some we inedible. Overall, it was a negative experience and we would recommend against the hot pot for sure. read more

I've really come to have a fondness for these little strip mall joints. They look so plain and unassuming from the outside but then you walk in and are completely transported to another place. The space is very large and the decor was gorgeous and seemed very authentic. The server was very courteous and the menu had so many delicious-sounding options it was hard to decide. I was really hoping they would have a Thai iced coffee and sure enough not only did they have that, but they also had a Tuk Tuk which is a Thai iced coffee with vanilla vodka and amaretto. It was amazing! My husband just got the regular Thai iced coffee and that was good too. I had a hankering for sushi and opted for one of their specialty rolls which was more than enough food. The presentation and flavor were great too. My husband decided to try the Kung Pao grouper since neither of us have had grouper before. It was so good! We have totally been missing out. We also loved the little rolled Thai fortune cookies we got at the end of the meal. They were quite a bit better than regular fortune cookies. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dished. We ordered dumplings and spring rolls as appetizers, it took 45 min for those to come out. While we were waiting, our server never came to check on us. Once our appetizers came out, they were very tasty. We ordered sushi and the Pattaya Street noodles. The sushi was pretty good, the noodles were not. They were very bland. Once our server said she would bring our check, we had to wait another 10 min and then ended up having to ask someone else to bring us our check. We probably won't come back here. read more
