I recently lost my mother. During the week of her passing, I purchased a dress for her services and a few other items. Because I was in a rush dealing with funeral arrangements, I paid for everything and asked them to hold the remaining items for a week. I called the store multiple times to keep them updated on my situation, explaining exactly why I couldn't get there immediately. When my husband went to retrieve my paid-for items, he was met with cold indifference. A manager told him he had already put the items back out on the floor and said if I wanted them, I could "buy them again." When I went in to resolve this and ask for a refund for the items I never received, the manager was incredibly rude. He told me "specifically" that they don't hold items for anyone, regardless of the circumstances. This is a flat-out lie, as I have had items held there previously. To make matters worse, when I tried to give my return slip to another shopper to bless them since I didn't want to return to the store, he told me I wasn't allowed to do that either. If you are looking for a manager with a heart, ask for Charlotte. As for the rest of the management team: your lack of empathy for a grieving customer is appalling. You've lost a customer of 15 years over a situation that required nothing more than a little human kindness. When I called to make the appointment I was asking 100000x questions and once the receptionist realized I was having a panic attack just making the appointment she was very reassuring, told me she is in very good hands and helped me calm down. Day of, I was a nervous wreck. The staff was so kind, efficient, and trustworthy. The best $125 I've ever spent to make sure my baby girl lives a long healthy life. If you're thinking of getting your animal spayed here, look no further. The incision was hardly even visible and she healed SO well. When I called because my kitty hadn't used the litter box in over 24 hours they gave me solid advice on how to help her and she ended up using the litter box. If I ever get another pet, I will most definitely bring them here!
