I had heard about Lincoln Hill Farms, but hadn't been to see a show there yet. There was a bluegrass band playing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia music so my friend and I thought we'd check it out. It's located pretty close to CMAC in Canandaigua and definitely is a farm. Smell of cow manure gives it away lol. They must've expected a big crowd because they had parking attendants and they charge $10 but they give you a token for five dollars off a drink. They have a decent sized stage and very good sound system. There's a big area in front that is for dancers, but with the small crowd we had that was only partially filled. They have some picnic tables available and also a covered area that was for weed growers that had long picnic tables as well. We brought our own folding chairs and sat in them for a while. They have good drink choices there and the food wasn't so bad either. They have barbecue food and fried food. And they make all their sauces on site. Check out my pics of the menus. I split the chicken fingers and fries with my friend. For the band's second set, we went up to the VIP area upstairs which they didn't charge for that night . Standing up there, you got a great view of the sunset and of the band and the whole surrounding area. As I said, the sound was very good and the vibe was great. It's not a fancy place but if you get into the outdoor farm experience, it's a great place to see a show. They also do private events there and weddings. read more

This is a nice and chill music venue but I recommend a few updates to make the guest experience more enjoyable. If you allow refillable water bottles, then why don't you have water stations?? A staff member told me to use the bathroom sink water. Not my first preference, but fine. The water was so warm which is great for handwashing but it was not suitable for drinking on a hot summer day and the faucet was so short I couldn't even fill my Nalgene, which is what most people use. There's also not a lot of viewing room for concerts once people film up the center of the crowd area. read more

Really disappointed that my first visit there to see the movement was not a great one. No one checked my bag what if someone had a weapon or something, I heard several people say their bag wasn't checked. The staff was not welcoming or friendly. I've worked several venues in different states and currently work for some and we definitely don't make patrons feel like I felt. Truly disappointed. Could be a great venue but the management needs to work on learning how to make patrons feel more welcomed and teach their staff more on customer service. The VIP area was really not very good for the cost. I've worked hundreds of shows and our VIP areas are much more cleaner and have their own restrooms and friendlier staff. read more

Probably a great wedding venue, but it's a terrible concert venue. The entire concert space is gravel, and they don't allow lawn chairs (except for the dozens of chairs that somehow got in). There are some picnic tables but they fill quickly. Empty water bottles are allowed, but there's no fill station and you have to get water from a bartender. Drinks are cheap, parking is easy (but they're super strict about their no tailgating rule). A big plus is the area shaded by a large tent, but the majority of the space is shade free (no trees) and because you're just standing or sitting on gravel, it gets hot. I've been to a lot of shows and I probably wouldn't go to one here again. read more

no real vegan/vegetarian options! very generic american food menu (bbq, burgers, pizza) all of which are overpriced. bar drinks also use recipe 21 as the well liquor - yikes. at the very least, this place needs to hire a new, more creative catering service if it wants to be resuscitated. so sad to have had to watch this venue with the tons of potential wane in popularity & quality. the two stars are for the property - garden, goats, and open concept layout with many seating options. i hope the owners wake up & realize how important quality food & drink is to bring people back! read more

Even with my GPS, I got lost trying to find the place. I must've passed their sign three times. It's a big sign but when it's dark out and you can't see the venue from the road because it's so far back, it's easy to drive past it. I recommend putting some lights on the sign. You can't see anything from the road because their driveway is so long. It's a real nice set up once you get in. The band was good and there was plenty of seating and lots of little fires to keep warm by. The silo were cute as bars and restaurants. There were lots of great, scary statues, and photo shoots. I will go again, but I will pass up the wagon ride. We had to stand and shoot little pellets at the so-called zombies. I think it was nice for the little ones so they wouldn't get scared, but I prefer to sit on a hay wagon and have Scary creatures jump out. The staff there was extremely nice. I think they had some games there too, but I didn't look around that far. We got a group discount, which was more than fair. It's only $10 to get in without the hayride. read more

If I could, LHF would receive maybe a 3.5 star rating. I've been to a few events here and there are so many great qualities about the venue, but they've unfortunately lost by the disappointment of the events that haven't lived up to the expectations from the online social media posts that hype them up. Venue rest on a beautiful piece of property. Always clean and seemingly maintained. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking! Food can be pricey. If I could, I would suggest making more seating areas and maybe some big open bon fire areas with Adirondack chairs or benches for people to enjoy the venue more, but just a thought. I also haven't ever used the bathroom facilities so I can't remark on them. read more

This farm has EVERYTHING: baby goats, hops on a vine, tractors, and that thing of where you take a photo for Instagram in a sunflower field! I felt super lucky to have visited Lincoln Hill farms for Brewfest, and had a truly wonderful time. They are certainly maximizing profit on their acres of land, but it is well-organized and easy to traverse. Not sure if you have to pay $10 for all events to park, but I would plan to have cash on hand. The grounds are so beautiful and I hear the weddings here are absolutely next level. Looking forward to the next time I can stop by and enjoy an afternoon at Lincoln Hill! Maybe a concert in my future? read more

Great location for a summer evening relaxing at the farm. Craft beer on tap, along with a variety of cocktails. Staff was phenomenal. Although all the information says not to bring camp chairs, they are totally acceptable. One star less as they charge $10 for parking for an already expensive evening there. Their tickets for concerts is on the high side, as well as $11 each for a craft beer, and over $100 for two tickets to an old 90s band. Very organized venue. read more

This IS a great venue; beautiful setting and excellent sound. BUT, the killer is that after spending nearly $150 on a pair of tickets that the same act in a comparable show in Ithaca cost me $60 for the pair, they charged $10 to park the car. Where the fuck else am I going to park? Not like I have a choice. It's a freaking cow pasture with a distillery attached. A true ripoff in the purist sense. Shame on you Lincoln Hill Farms! Just charge $5 more per ticket and save yourselves the impression that you're thieves. I for one will not be going back all because of feeling like I got kicked in the balls before even buying one of your $22 cups of craft beer. read more

this was such an amazing place, so unique I don't think we have anything else like it in Rochester. of course you have to travel to Canandaigua to come here, so little of a drive from the city. parking is free and plenty of it. they had tents/tables/window check in before entering. to the left is the food/stage. straight ahead and to the right is the bar/seating and the pond/land. the place is huge with so much area to fill with events. I came here for the Guster concert and I think the band even enjoyed the venue, might been because the venue hit a record attendance. the food was good and regular "food truck" pricing. the ordering and pick up was easy and quick even with many people waiting. the seating for the stage was marked towards the back of where the standing only is. you can bring your own chairs. they also have a pavilion where there is table and seats under a roof. read more

Beautiful place, spectacular views. We came here for a concert. Wear comfort shoes it's mostly gravel and grass to walk on. For the concert we purchased vip access tickets it wasn't worth it vip is seated in the back top deck we couldn't see the stage so we ended up getting our chairs from the car and sit closer to the stage. General admission tickets are better than vip tickets in my opinion. Food and drinks is a bit pricey as well. read more

Always forget n to see great bands like Mud Creek, Giant Panda Dub Squad, etc in such a fun, relaxed venue. They have Pizza, BBQ, Burgers and Hots. A full bar, A pavilion and roof top seating. Always fun! read more

Yesterday, my husband and I and another couple attended the Oktoberfest event at Lincoln Hill Farms. I have been to Lincoln Hill Farms in the past so I know they have a stage, outdoor bar, kitchen and plenty of space for their patrons. Because they have these amenities and because it was an Oktoberfest, we all expected that there would be live German music and access to authentic, well-prepared German food. We were charged $10 for parking and a $25 entry fee and received very little in return. We were disappointed to learn that the only thing included in the cover charge was 3 small samples of beer. Although the beer selection was good, the food was expensive, poorly prepared, and the wait time was unacceptable. The pretzel rolls were partially frozen, the potatoes in the German potato salad were undercooked and the wait time was 25 minutes. Additionally, there was no music or entertainment short of a beer stein holding contest. Very low value. It was audacious to call this an Oktoberfest. We will not be back. read more

Beautiful place for a show. We've seen a few concerts here, one of the few places than can safely host them currently. It's a gorgeous place, stroll around. We caught fireworks here on the 4th and it was fantastic. They have a small, rotating selection of consistently awesome beers. I once had a Heady Topper here! Okay, I had two. Because you cannot get that stuff outside Vermont. One thing I would advise is to avoid the food. It's pretty bad and really expensive. We've had overcooked chicken and undercooked bacon. Eat before you come or after you leave. But definitely visit. Check out their event schedule and come see a show. read more

Was invited (by my bf lol) to see a show here and glamp!!! Never been here and was excited for the experience. We arrived at 3, for check in and got to check out all the 11 glamps!! You cannot rent one individually, you or a group, like what we did, was one person in our party pay and then everyone who goes, pays their portion (depending on how many attend). As we checked out the tents, I realized that some had fridges and some didn't. Also, most didn't have a 'bug' net in the front of the tent. Our tent was decorated in Safari/Rasta decor!! So cute and cozy!! We did have to kill some insects before I felt safe, but it is camping!! Next, we walked to the venue early to get a table under the pavilion. We got to see their wedding venue and it is very scenic!! The concert venue has tables on gravel, a pavilion with tables, bring your own chair section and roof top seating. Walked around the farm and explored the rooftop section and the pond/farm views, they were picturesque!! Such a cool venue, met quite a few folks from Victor and Farmington area that were more familiar with the place and all had positive comments. The musical performance started with a solo act Brent Bond, got to meet him at the bar and he was excited to perform his solo set. He was pretty good, great energy and guitar playing. Our main act was Josh Daniel from North Carolina and became famous during COVID for playing 365 days straight. His performance was awesome and I got to meet him after the show and a signed T-shirt. We're coming back tonight for a band, but not glamping, sadly. I will post a pic of the scheduled artists for the rest of the summer. Come and see the farm and hear some good tunes!! read more

Great new venue. Attended in 2017. Can't wait for this summer! Parking was well orchestrated. Entrance fee was reasonable. Vendors were great (props to the nitrogen ice cream stand). The bar and services areas were long and well staffed. Excited to see what other events could be here. read more
