Dinner reservations for two at 5pm. They seated us in the side room because they didn't have any tables for two in the main dining area however about 10 minutes after we sat down the hostess sat another couple at a table for four in the main dining area. The Fettuccine con fungi had no flavor. The four slices of bread that came with our dinner was dense and hard to eat. Our dinners also included house salads. The ranch dressing was watered down. The Eggplant Parmesan was good except the penne that came with it was cold. Our waiter was decent and no complaints with him. I had the eggplant parm, and my companion had the seafood ravioli with vodka sauce. I'm pretty critical....the marinara was arguably the best I've ever had. And I grew up on Philly gravy. The eggplant was a bit thick, shhh, the dish needs more sauce. (I can hear Gio yelling from here. ) My companion's seafood ravioli was " good", and I think she was as stunned by the amount of shrimp in the dish.. She also liked the vodka sauce. I ordered a pizza online around 1:00 in the afternoon that I wanted to pick up at 6:20. I received a call a bit later from Pam because I had put "thin crust" on my order ad she said they didn't have thin crusts, it was more like medium. I said that was fine. I am undergoing testing for ovarian cancer and wanted something I did not have to prepare. I wet to pick it ip at 6:15 and was told that they had no orders for pizza. I said Pam called me about it, and Pam denied she spoke to me. I said don't you remember I put thin crust down and you said there's no thin crust? then she ushered me to the back and told me there was no order because it was on the computer since I ordered online. If they're not going to make orders that are online, why do they have a button for online ordering? The worst part is that on one of the hottest days of the year, I had to stand by the bar while my pizza was made, and no even offered me as much as a glass of water! I was so disgusted with Pam and the service for a pizza I prepaid with a 20% tip, that I didn't even open the box or look at it, let alone eat it. Horrible! Well, my sister has been telling me about their new favorite Italian Restaurant, but I haven't had a chance yet to get there. So I was excited when she was having a party and told me this was where they were getting the food. You could just tell the food was going to be good as soon as you got a wiff of the smell when the door opened and the trays were carried in. You don't get the same 'eat with your eyes' feeling when food is served like this. This means the flavors have to stand on their own, and they certainly did. I'm not always a fan of sauce in a restaurant since my husband makes it at home, but this was really good! Everything I tasted was perfection! The chicken parm was moist and perfectly breaded. Greens and beans are one of my favorite dishes, and these were delicious. The house salad was fresh and crisp. Even the mashed potatoes, which were a last-minute substitute, were great. My favorite of all dishes was the arancini. They were fried nicely, not greasy at all, and were filled with an excellently prepared risotto! I can't wait to visit the restaurant in person. Visited Prosecco for the first time on Valentine's Day for a dinner reservation with my wife. I wish I could give more than 3 stars because the food was great, our waitress was good, the hostess...rude and short, she acted annoyed that we walked in the door. She sat us without saying a word and left, didn't provide us with a specials menu so I had to track one down myself, she openly talked to other servers about being annoyed that there were still two reservations arriving as we were leaving. I would still recommend going because the food really is great, it's a shame that the first person we interacted with that represented the business was her because I probably won't go back. Our first experience was on a recent Saturday night. We're assuming that they were short staffed as we waited nearly twenty minutes before a busboy brought water. Our waiter was apologetic and personable. There were a couple of entrees that weren't available, only two servings of lasagna left, one salad dressing was "out". Again, our waiter handled with grace. The portions were enormous and gave us another meal at home. The Bolognese was excellent, the lasagna average. Salads were a nice mix of veggies and greens. The bread was fabulous! Highly recommend! Had a reservation for a party of 14 for my Sister's 40th Birthday and everything went so smoothly. All the food came out as ordered and was so delicious! A really nice Italian restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. Menu has a good assortment of options. Food is delicious with large portions. We had the marinara, it was very savory. It was not a sugary/sweet sauce. We noticed there were no busers so clearing the table took a little longer than usual. We were there for 2 hours with a large party of 14. Did not get asked if we wanted refills on our beverages, not sure if this is typical or atypical. They do take reservations. Jazz music was not over bearing and really nice to listen to during our meal. Giving 5 stars because Italian food is usually a no go for us since we have the best Italian cooking mom and nothing ever compares to her authentic food. And this was delicious. I am so blown away by Prosecco. This was my first time here and after eating, I told my dad that this was my new favorite Italian restaurant. My 'Carmen' dish with chicken was absolutely amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the veggies (spinach & artichokes) tasted so well together. I am dying to get into my leftovers tomorrow. Create your own pasta with marinara- the marinara sauce is to die for. The chicken parmesan was delicious as well. I guess you can say we are all looking forward to leftovers- which there are plenty of, the portions very accurately represent the prices. I seriously cannot say enough about Prosecco. Teresa J was our most amazing server!!! Thank goodness for her because the kitchen was quite untimely with our meals. The Filet Mignon came out 1st. Luckily, that went to my mom. A few minutes later, my wife's seafood ravioli came out. A few minutes after that, Teresa J came and said the kitchen told her my Chicken Alexandro would be 4 more minutes. It was a couple of minutes anyway, but it was so delicious. The food was delicious and plentiful! Big go boxes to take home! The piano player did such a great job for the atmosphere. We came with a rather large group of 11. From making the reservation phone call a week before hand right through handing us the check, we had a great experience here. They easily accommodated our group when we made the reservation and the waitress was extremely attentive to everyone's needs. With six adults and five children, our group had lots of needs! I came here a second time. The food was better but the service was pretty bad this time around. Our server said he was going to get us bread and eventually I had to ask him for it. The food takes a long time so it's nice to have that to munch on. I had to ask for another bottle of water when ours was clearly empty at the edge of the table. We all ordered dessert and I wanted some to go. The server needed to go get a pen because it was too many desserts for him to remember. Why but come to a table not prepared? So he got us our desserts and said my to go desserts will be right up. We were done with desserts and got our checks. Oh, he certainly remembered to charge me for the desserts but I had to ask him for those too. It was very annoying to have to keep asking. Also this establishment is NOT following Covid-19 practices. Our servers mask was worn UNDER his nose. And I was sat directly in front of another table. I was lucky if I was six INCHES away from the person behind me let alone six FEET. There are many other establishments I could have gone to that ARE practicing the social distancing. Food was good, if I am to be picky, I would say I had the chicken French which was good but needed more lemon and butter. And my wife had the Alfredo and said the peas were unnecessary and it needed more garlic and parmesan cheese. Food was very plentiful and gave us a lovely lunch the next day. They could even make these meals tappas, they are so plentiful. The wait staff were outstanding, heck the owner was out helping as well. That says a lot to me. It should be soft, soothing background music. The five of us could not hear ourselves talk. Not going there for a show. And, the trio was mediocre at best which made it worse. Why can ownership or GM not realize finer establishments do not need or promote such adverse environments. Turn down the decibles a few notches and we're dedicated patrons. Nine of us went to Prosecco for NYE and it was an excellent experience. The shrimp cocktail and arancini apps. were great, as was my build your own pasta and my husband's pork chop. Our entire party was really pleased with everything they ordered, which included chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, and a couple of perfectly cooked medium rare steaks. Their dinners include bread and butter and house salads. The house Prosecco vinaigrette dressing is lovely. Our martinis and variety of wines were also great. There was also a great band that played a perfect song selection for a NYE dinner outing. The portion sizes are large and the food and drink prices are very reasonable and well worth it. Cute Decor. We didn't have a reservation and we're glad we came right when it open because within 30 mins the place was full. We started off with appetizers, two large meatballs, and a Sicilian calamari. The meatballs were very large and good. The calamari itself was poor quality, but all the peppers and olives they added to was very good. Our dinners came with bread and salad. The bread was amazing, soft on the inside and a crunchy crust on the outside. I got the house Italian. It was not good. Not much to the salad and the dressing had No seasoning. I got the eggplant parm w/ Spaghetti.. it was good, not the best I've had. The eggplant was thick and the sauce was a little too acidic for me. My boyfriend got the Ribeye and mashed potatoes. They cooked it perfectly and everything was seasoned very well. My friend got the chicken French she said it was ok. Her boyfriend got the chicken parm and side of meatballs. He said it was really good. All there portion sizes were large. We all had leftovers. Our waitress was very nice but seemed flustered. We sat there for 20mins no one came to our table .no water no service what so ever not even over at ask we walk out 6:48 ,still no came to our table the guy looked at us and turn away. Is it possible because we were black people. We visited your restaurant before with no problem this trip we got treated like garbage. No but the visit feel very uncomfortable for and my wife . We are very important in the community for years my is a surgical nurse 20 years i work for Xerox corporate office. Why it feels we where racist profiled by your restaurant. We didn't get no service at all 25 mins . It's ok will never walk into your restaurant also you let people know not to enter your doors ,if you are a black or African American. We visited the last evening before they closed for a week's vacation and got complimentary desserts as a reward! We were so pleased that we were able to get a reservation AND try a new restaurant as our previous choice for that evening closed abruptly for a few days due to a staffing shortage. Prosecco is only a few minutes north of Canandaigua. If you are coming from the city, make the first U-turn once you pass the State Police barracks! We were greeted and seated promptly, had a few minutes wait for a busy waitress, but afterwards service went smoothly. We both had drinks, followed by house salad, and then had two veal dishes, parm and Marsala. Both were excellent and the portions were huge. I tried this place to take a break from otto tomato. It's a little bit fancier, and the prices are a little bit higher, but overall, it's very good Italian food.
