The Vine entertainment venue is really huge inside with a main floor, balcony and bar it has very good acoustics and never a bad seat in the place. You can see a lot of concerts or comediennes here.I saw an Elvis tribute show here and it was fabulous. It's located in the Del Lago casino with plenty of free parking in the lots. It's a highly enjoyable experience for the whole family.

The table games are generally pretty full. I can not imagine what it's like on the weekends when all the tables are open. The table game's minimums start at 5, 10, 25, 50 depending on which game it is. The slots are plenty. Hundreds of all kinds. I don't play a lot of slots, but when i have, i've won here. Only $20 - 60, but a win is a win. If you are intimidated by the tables, they have automatic craps and roulette games. The roulette is pretty dated and could really should be updated. Mostly because the interface is kinda a pain, but it still works. The staff is super friendly and are happy to answer any dumb questions i have. Customer service is top notch. The cleaning crew is really on top of things. The main floor, bathrooms, dining areas are all spotless. The thing that really stands out about this place is that the people seem happy. They call each other by their names. They joke and laugh. This is not the atmosphere that I usually see at the other NY casinos.

There is a soda fountain right after the entrance and it's free. They also have tables playing card game with minimum bet of $15-$20. I was able to order an alcohol drink while playing at a table from a waitress but by the time I left, I didn't get it. Also their buffet is no longer available which quite a sad news for me. Their location is a bit out of city so it takes a little ride to get there. They don't have any special welcome for new members.

The evening turned into a lively night. Watching the young cast navigate those first-night jitters with such grace became a joy. The audience felt their excitement in every note. Walking through those doors brought back a flood of memories--most notably, our best man Andrew's wedding. Rare to find a space that can host both life's biggest milestones and the budding dreams of local actors. The Hangar has built a reputation for excellence. I feel proud to support it.

Parking was a breeze which was really nice - the theatre is also conveniently located so you can hop right back on the road and head home after seeing a show if coming from Rochester region. I loved that they served finger lakes wine at the concession stand, and all of the volunteers and staff I encountered were wonderful and helpful. We went on a HOT day, and I wish for the outdoor stage they would have sprung for a covered option. The bulk of the audience were boiling by the time the razors came out, and we still had two hours of murderous fun left to go. The show itself had its great and not so great moments (I am not sure if it was a budgetary thing but the set for this show was...off putting. I don't need to be reminded that they're eating humans in word form on the set - there's a Greek chorus to remind me every other scene! Also, there were pretty severe issues with the mix and sound. Forgetting to turn actors mics back on, inability to hear the orchestra at times, etc.) Overall the cast and team at Hangar absolutely did the best they could given the circumstances all theatres are being forced to operate under right now, and I am SO GLAD to be out watching theatre and making snide comments about sets again! If there's a show you love playing here - go go go! Broadway talent and stardom in FLX!

It was almost like life theater because the first row was basically on the stage with the performer, single woman performer right in the middle of everything so it was a really cool. First experience the staff was very friendly. They have a full bar with snacks and yeah, they have a lot of associations with non-for-profit loaves and fish as the sponsor for the show who feed the homeless and there was other art organizations present there as well. You know it's a great central theater that has like a lot of like really good shows known for having great actors from Ithaca College, so usually seeing a performance in the city is a solid choice and I definitely recommend the kitchen theater. The building is modern and artistic in a simple way. It was my first time coming here and I suppose I had the expectation it would be like the other plays I'd seen in my life; your standard auditorium and sitting in darkness, alone to my own devices. I was pleasantly surprised! Their motto is "bold, intimate, engaging", and I soon found out why as I walked back a hall which entered into a small theatre where the relatively small amount of seats were placed in such away around the room you had no choice but be part of the stage. What an experience. It was like someone was not only telling you a story, but acting it out for you... You personally. And they were so close they would all make eye contact with you from time to time making it more personal. I felt engaged and pulled along with the story. They move so fast and don't have time or a way to dim the lights and move props etc so it's interesting how creative they get... It's literally like daddy acting out a story to his children at some points, very sweet and special. You can tell the actors are having fun, and they did a splendid job! I'd go back, but make sure to reserve ahead if you can- it's small!

Visiting Falcon Park to see the Auburn Doubledays was a nice addition to my growing list of ballgame experiences. I ordered my ticket for a game before the start of the season (I like to plan my visits in advance). It took some fidgeting, as well as contacting the Doubledays staff person in charge of the ticketing website (credit card authentication issues), but I managed to purchase my ticket and have it held at Will Call. Upon arriving at the park for my game, I visited the ticket window and picked up my ticket without issue. Easy enough. Sidenote: parking is free and located across the street from the park - unless you're a season ticket holder. There's no signage either way, so I didn't realize this until after driving into the premium parking lot and inquiring. It was hot, so I was hoping to find some shade; alas, I ended up in the general lot without any trees to help stay cool. Haha. I got into the park and happened upon Abner, the Doubledays mascot. I picked up a program and headed to the souvenir stand to get my MiLB Ballpark Pass-Port stamp, but it turns out that they keep the stamp/ink pad at a table with a green Tompkins Trust Company covering. The guy tending the table had a big plastic tub with all sorts of random, disorganized papers, booklets, and whatnot. He kept digging and found the stamp... then had to go on a wider hunt for the ink pad. I didn't want to be an inconvenience, but it all felt a bit disorganized. He ended up finding the ink pad after a few minutes, so I got my stamp... but it took a bit. After grabbing something from the concession building, I checked out my seats... and I was directly in the sun. On a 90 degree day. Oops. I took some time and enjoyed my lunch under the tented area near where the Doubledays were warming up. After a bit, I noticed a kid was calling out after players to get autographs, and I thought it'd be humorous to kinda approach the fence and get signatures from some players at the same time. It did end up working fairly well, admittedly. Once the game was about to start, I noticed there were plenty of open spaces in the general admission area - i.e. where seating was covered. Since it was a day game, and I figured there wouldn't be a huge number of people filing into the park after the start of the game, I found myself a seat with a decent view (i.e. no metal building frame in the way) and enjoyed the shade while watching the game. The staff at the game didn't seem to take issue with any of us seeking cover from the sun and heat, and I think they even offered a visiting group of school kids the opportunity to move into the covered seating. All in all, the staff was generally helpful... if a bit disorganized in parts. The stadium is what you would expect for a short-season, Class A, minor league club. No frills, but a comfortable/local feel. There's a lot of netting in front of the seats, including over both dugouts - hinders the view a bit, unfortunately.
