The Skin Centre has its own doors (so no communal doors and trying to find suite #4). Lots of parking. The waiting room surprisingly small, but has about 7 chairs. It's clean, open, and gets lots of sunshine. The receptionist is friendly and takes care of things quickly. The patient rooms have really cool chairs. These chairs are electronically adjustable and can go all the way flat, up to almost chest height or down to the ground. Had lots of fun playing elevator w/ my baby on these chairs while we were waiting (shhhhh). We saw Dr. Abdulla (who was recommended by our pediatrician). She was very friendly, very practical, and great at explaining things. The wait time wasn't too bad (maybe 10-15 mins) and she seemed very sure of herself and of her diagnosis. I was happy at how flexible the office was to squeeze us in on a Saturday when we called on Monday. Also - they were able to squeeze me in there too, saving me a second trip the next weekend. Overall, I think this is a nice and friendly place to go for all your dermatologist needs. And instead of writing a prescription, the Dr. prefers to get the address/number/general location of your pharmacy so she can call in the prescription directly. Oh yeah - I forgot to mention the bathroom was very large/spacious w/ pretty tile and bath & body works soap.

These folks knew I was skeptical and they seemed to understand ... explaining to me in understandable terms the benefits of healing from the inside out. There was nary a moment of discussion about leaving my comfort zone (of traditional meds), rather they set forth the worthy objective of getting better -- naturally -- so the meds might not be required at some point. The services here are all generally therapeutic in nature, but there is also some self-healing going on. I'm in this area only 1-2 times a year, and the practitioners here made sure that I knew of a similar place to go in the Houston area. Those who already know the power of natural healing probably already know about this place and its caring staff. Those who are skeptical -- like yours truly -- make a single appointment. Another woman working there came out after she heard that I had exclaimed, oh my these are much longer than I expected. Here's why... when I purchase a Groupon, I never know if I'm going to get the full service, or an abbreviated version since I paid for the service at a discounted price. I called this location just prior to purchasing the Groupon because I wanted an appointment for a specific day. I spoke with Monica, who was very pleasant and set up my appointment. We did end up having to reschedule for a different day, but Monica was very professional in giving me enough notice and working with me to set up another appointment right away. The day of my appointment, I arrived at the exact start time and apologized as I usually like to arrive earlier to fill out the paperwork. Monica greeted me and said it was no problem. As I was filling out the paperwork, Dr. Fondacaro walked two patients out. He smiled and seemed pleasant, even though my treatment didn't involve any interaction with him. Monica performed the Dermaplaning and explained the whole process before we started. You have to lie very still, so there wasn't much talking during the treatment. Monica asked what I was looking to improve, facial skin-wise, and was very helpful in examining the condition of my skin and telling me what other treatments would be beneficial and what treatments I can skip. To me, not talking someone into something they don't need is the sign of a good professional. The custom Hydrojelly Mask was (and literally felt like) the icing on the cake. Monica's demeanor and soft & steady hands allowed me to relax and trust her (which is needed when you have a scalpel so close to your face). And if all of that wasn't enough, Monica even reached out to me a few days after my treatment to make sure I was doing well. I gotta thank Groupon for helping me find this place. By doing general anesthesia (AKa going to an actual clinic) it also ensures that the doctor is able to be AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE with whatever procedure you're going through. I definitely burnt my wallet by coming here, I should've went to an actual clinic. The doctor and his assistant are very friendly, but it's definitely not worth it going here. The results are extremely mediocre compared to what you pay for
