The lesion appeared for the third time and doubled in size. I found a physician at Beth Israel in Newark, who decided I required a dermatologist. I made an appointment with Zemel's daughter's office in Union. He just happened to be there working too that day. I got lucky, because he took me in. His 'name', "Mathias" fascinated me and I told him so. He and I chatted about Newark, his education, my foot trouble -- the lesion was on the bottom of my foot. He took a look and informed me I required an operation. I asked when could he do it. He said, "Right now, my nurse will prep you." To make a long story short. When I returned to my physician and she looked at my foot (btw, she took a picture of the lesion) and said, "I remember your case, I can't believe it!" Except for a slight whitish mark, you would never have believed I ever had an issue. She (my doctor) was highly impressed. I was simply happy and relieved. No more pain.
