Terry and the team at Beefcake Racing have been a huge help throughout the build of my truck. I highly recommend Beefcake Racing to anyone looking for quality parts and outstanding support

The owner of Beefcake Racing wrote these to me while I waited on an order that never shipped:…read more "dude, you need to take a freaking chill pill." "Relax, relax, relax." "You have entirely too much time on your hands and you need to calm down." "unless you've just changed your mind and a buyers remorse because you've got the baby and the wife's telling you you can't spend the money I get it" "You simply don't want the clutch anymore. I know it you know it. Everybody knows it." He had never met me. He had my $1,293.57 for 34 days. The order Aug 9. I ordered a SPEC Stage 1 clutch kit and steel flywheel for a 2015-17 Mustang EcoBoost. Total $1,293.57, paid by card. Aug 10. The status changed to "Awaiting shipment." It never changed again. No tracking number was ever issued. Aug 20. Beefcake told me the clutch was "about 2 wks out." Aug 31. I asked for an ETA. I learned the supplier had said 3-5 weeks when Beefcake checked on Aug 21. Nobody passed that on at the time. I asked for a refund. Sales replied that he had "got your order mixed up with another." Later the same day I was told the order was "going out any day, should see tracking sent over soon." No tracking followed. Sep 8. A third estimate arrived: 10 more days. I asked to cancel. The owner then told me for the first time that low-production items are "normally 4-6 weeks." That was day 30. He also mentioned a 7% cancellation fee for the first time. The fee is not in my order confirmation. I asked where it appeared at checkout. He answered "terms of service and our refund policy page" and never identified a location. Sep 12. I filed complaints with the Ohio Attorney General at 7:11 AM and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs at 8:12 AM. At 8:28 AM the owner told me to take a chill pill and said the refund would process "tomorrow." At 8:55 AM, 27 minutes later, a partial refund processed. Beefcake kept $97.03. That is 7.5%, not the 7% they had put in writing three separate times. Sep 14. The full $1,293.57 was refunded. No message came with it, only an automated status change. A separate email arrived afterward to tell me it was "funny" that I had filed a chargeback. What it took 34 days. Four ship dates, none met. Zero parts delivered. Two state agency complaints and a bank dispute to get my own money back. If you order from Beefcake Racing Confirm the item is physically in stock before you pay. Ask in writing. Get the lead time in writing. "About two weeks" is not a commitment. Ask about cancellation fees before you order. Get the percentage in writing. Check your order status yourself. Mine sat on "Awaiting shipment" for over a month. Note the date you paid. Card dispute windows are limited.

I have recently had a terrible experience with this company and I am being completely ignored by…read morethe district staff. The district manager from the Cincinnati area is completely dodging my calls. I have left messages for her at 2 different locations every day for the last 6 business days. Additionally, when I asked for an email address, I was declined. I gave the store manager, Tim, an opportunity to make it right and he informed me it was out of his hands which is why I was referred to the district manager. It's worth noting Tim has been GREAT to deal with all along, he has been very responsive to me even if he didn't have an answer. I give Tim 5 stars! We purchased a transmission that was built incorrectly and has failed. While the transmission itself is covered under a warranty the labor is not. We should not be liable for any labor as this part was manufactured incorrectly. The failure was not due to any lack of maintenance or misuse on our part. The delivery of the new transmission has been delayed twice now with zero communication from the anyone, I had to reach out to National Power Train myself to get answers. Meanwhile, the driver has not had a car for over 30 days now. He has lost wages due to not having transportation as well as losing money due to having to take ubers everywhere. He is 20 years old so he can't rent a car! All I am trying to do is speak with the next supervisor up to discuss compensation for the remaining labor which we feel is fair after this entire experience and not having a car for 30 days. Lost wages alone are more than the labor...which how can you pay for something if you can't work? I have been in retail myself at the management level since 2002 and this is hands down the worst I have ever been treated by a company, they have zero concern for us a customer. It is completely unacceptable to expect someone to go more than 30 days without a car. Someone besides Tim needs to call me back

O'Reilly's from now on…read more I ordered an alternator online. When I found out it was my battery and not the alternator, I returned the part to the Amelia Ohio AutoZone. I was told I would get a refund within 3-5 business days. Here we are 13 physical days and 9 business days, no refund, over drafted $33, and still no money back. I called customer service multiple times. I was told this would be escalated to a manager and receive a call back within 24 hours. 72 hours later and I only have gotten a response from email asking for my return number. I gave them the return number and they say it's my bank holding my money. I called the bank for a 3rd time, my bank never holds credits and issues them immediately. So customer service is trying to cover their tracks for the mistakes they've made. Since customer service sucks, I decided to call the store and the manager. He says it looks like it was put in as a part swap. I never traded out a part I brought it back for a refund. When he gave me a receipt it said $162.02 and he said this is being refunded. The manager is trying to fix it and is doing a great job. Due to their call center this whole thing has been a horrible experience all around. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB to step in and help me get my money back.
