Well....I hit the jackpot. This place is fantastic. Alexa gave me the best haircut and color I've had in years. I went in thinking about matching the color I've used in the previous place. Alexa was able to not just match but enhance the color and bring it to where I always wanted in the past. She went above and beyond! The owner was kind and accommodating and I can go on and on about all that is good about Fringe Hair Design. I will go back and also recommend it to all my new friends I hope to meet in Woodstock.

Lucy, this was an absolutely unacceptable violation. Four inches gone. I'm devastated. She also accused me of "telling her how to do her job" simply because I said I'd like some point cutting. She asked what I wanted, then acted insulted when I described the haircut I came in for. The worst salon experience of my life, and I haven't even addressed all of the issues. My wife was very happy with Jan, the lone hair stylist at Emerson, but her hairstyle didn't turn out quite right on the big day. Jan was straightforward, unflappable, and very responsive to her needs and opinions, and her trial hairstyle was perfect, but Jan wasn't able to recreate it on the wedding day. She works very quickly, which is a plus, but my wife did have a bit of a problem with her hairstyle wilting as the evening continued. My bridesmaid was happy with her style but admitted that it wasn't what she had in mind. We also had our nails done at Emerson, and were fairly with the experience. Emma was extremely thorough in prepping my nails, but only applied one coat of polish. I had a (very well-done) French manicure, which held up well for the wedding but didn't last much longer.
