Check out my Ombré awesome gel nails!!! Yellow blended to pink with sparkles at bottom of each nail! I've never seen anything like this offered at other salons. To save money, I asked for color change instead of full-on manicure and the man worked really meticulously to do the 2 colors, then gently and beautifully dabble the sparkles. I'm SUPER pumped and it's gonna last 2 weeks!! Only $20 if you ask for color change (not listed on the menu) instead of usual mani. Normal gel color change is $15, $5 extra was for the ombré design. He spent a ton of time perfecting the design on each nail, so I tipped him generously. Definitely longer than a normal manicure and what a deal! Instruments looked clean to me, not sure what everyone else is complaining about. Expectations should match the price and caliber of establishment - don't expect wine and fru-fru service like at a real spa with $60+ pedis If any technician goes too hard on sensitive spots, just tell them, they'll be more careful :) Every person's skin is different. I absolutely would not recommend this business. I am trying to warn everybody about the horrible experience I had. Heed me when I say do not use this place. I am surprised it's still in business. I came in town from Dallas for work. I had to do a presentation the next day. I went in with three nails missing so I wanted to have a new set put on. I had to have three tips done as well as well. I went in with a picture and explained several times that that's the file color and everything I wanted. Not only did it not come close, but it was a horrible result. I spent two hours in the salon. Hardly anyone spoke English. As a matter of fact, I think only one lady named Cathy spoke a little English. The rest of the time they were gossiping and giggling in Vietnamese. The tips weren't even laid flat on my real fingernail so there's a big gap between my real nail and the tip. At this point, I'm scared I might get a fungus. I can't wait to get back to Dallas have them removed and redone. So embarrassing and disappointing to look at my hands. I sure hope the owner pays attention to these reviews. I wish I would've read prior to going, but unfortunately the Wi-Fi and cellular were not working, so don't plan on using your phone. I went in asking for the set of pink you see in my pictures. I came in for a simple polish removal and basic manicure- she drilled my nails to death, left all of my nails uneven, and didn't even buff them! I should have known better- walked in with strong healthy nails and walked out with wrecked hands. read more

Truly sloppy manicure. The nail tech actually hurt my fingers as he was pushing jabbing back my cuticles, didn't remove polish from previous work until I asked him to, and the polish was so sloppy I took it off when I got home. I can do better at home with one hand. read more

Went in for a pedicure/manicure and walked out looking like my 4 year old niece painted my toes. Wanted a naked manicure, just clean and buff my nails. walked out with my nails feeling like I chewed them all off, even after asking him to fix them. The workers are rude and not very attentive. Worst experience. The lady was rude and became upset due to me wanting her to take previous polish off which was sparkly. She said if you do not want to see the sparkle get the whole nail done instead of the tip. I did not feel welcome walking in even though I called ahead. The pedicure was normal to good but when it came time to pay, the woman took my cash but did not bring me the correct change. I asked for a receipt and had a major attitude. She made me feel really bad when I asked for my correct change. (I also wanted the right cash to tip her) , she took her 20% tip out of my hands and walked away rudely. She never came back to help me take the spacers out, or hall me with my shoes. No one said I was good to go. just really cold and rude. No one said one word to me in English Except "color" and the price. read more

Worst pedicure ever, and I am 50, so that is saying a lot! And such a weird experience. I have been to Linda's once before & thought it was one of the better nail salons I've been to in Santa Fe, but my experience tonight was boggling The nail technician LT barely greeted me & made it clear she was annoyed she had to do my nails. She removed my gel with force & fury - it was actually painful! And then proceeded to "rip" through my manicure - hacking away at my cuticles, cutting my nails crooked & filing them like they were bricks blocking her way out of prison! They were so uneven I had to take the file & try to fix them before she splashed on the paint. It was so unnerving, unsettling & not relaxing! There are no words of how angry I am ! A week ago I went to get a pedicure before a vacation , the lady there started to my pedicure and hurt me really bad ! Do not come here EVER. I came in for acrylics and they said for me to wait about 30 minutes which was fine with me. I waited and waited and I waited for more than an hour. I eventually Just gave up after waiting for more than an hour and walked out without saying anything. Came here as a walk-in and was told 20 minute wait. After 30 minutes I was directed to a chair where I sat for another 20 minutes. A tech finally filled the tub but forgot about it until it was overflowing and I brought it to their attention. My sandals were soaked, no apology. The lady who worked on me had no social skills and I felt my business wasn't important. She gave me a pretty decent pedi - with a sugar scrub it was around $40 with tip. She and another tech got into a very long, heated and loud exchange which made most of the clients uncomfortable. It was a convenient location but not certain if I would return. Based on the long wait and unfriendly atmosphere I can't honestly recommend this place. read more

I came to Linda's nails as it was a convenient location while I waited for a family member to attend an appointment in Santa Fe where I do not live. I scheduled a time for the pedicure with a very nice woman named Kathy. Altho I arrived on time, my pedicure did not begin for another 25 minutes. Ruby, the person who provided the pedicure was technically proficient and very rough. My experience was very unpleasant and I had to grit my teeth numerous times to get through her manner of handling my feet. Even the way she used a nail file was sharp and uncomfortable. At one point I had to ask her to be more gentle. I like the way my nails look but would not return here again. read more

I was a customer of Lindas nails for years. I would always make appointments. Yet the last few times I visited the shop I still waited , not 15 minutes or half an hour, but over 1 1/2 hours. Even though I had an appointment!!! with Cathy the manager! They were taking walk-ins who were serviced faster than I was. This place has really gone to the dogs. 20 yrs doing nails myself. Professional opinion! Skip it ladies. I am sorry I didn't get one of the smiling technicians. Lady that was doing my pedicure was upset or something. They don't honor appointments, use the same files and utensils for each client (disgusting) and I left with 3 bleeding cuts and the messiest gel manicure I have ever seen. Got back home after my appointment to find that my credit card had also been charged THREE times. I have no idea how this place is still in business. Clean place, however, not one of the employees that were in there could speak English. I am a guitar player and asked for acrylic on my right hand nails. I told her several times what I wanted. She finished and didn't put the acrylic on. She said (???) "no do acrylic" and walked away. $20 to clip my nails and I never did get what I went in for.
