Poor quality manicure. Sloppy, file was dirty, cuticles were not trimmed properly, gel has already chipped off after just a few days.

Mimi always does an excellent job! Best pedicure and manicure I've ever had! Both Helen and Mimi are so nice and treat customers with respect! I highly recommend Linda's Nails and recommend calling ahead for an appointment since they are busy. They are busy for a reason - Lots of repeat clients! I would not recommend getting a pedicure from this place. I have gotten very few pedicures in my life and so decided to treat myself to one. Unfortunately they trimmed a little too much on the side of my big toe kind of separating the nail from the toe on the side. It's been close to three months and it just won't heal. My doctor says I have an infection, gave me antibiotics, and said I may have to lose the toenail if it doesn't heal! Only time will tell... Not impressed with sanitary procedures - they use the same tools on every customer without sterilizing and the pedicure spa tubs are minimally cleaned between customers. My manicure lasted 2 days & the nail technician was borderline hostile. Working in a medical facility, I expect & want sterile equipment all the time & friendly service. Went in for a gel french manicure about 10 days ago when my old gel started to grow out. The staff was friendly, and there wasn't any wait. I was started with one tech, then put onto another to finish the job. The male tech was nice, telling me about life in his home country, Vietnam, and explaining proper Acetone use. The second one however, wasn't that nice. She stood up while doing my nails, and ignored my request for a jewel on my thumbs! After I told her to please be gentle as I have a lymphatic condition on my right hand, she still cut my skin, which was really painful. She also argued with another tech while working on my nails. The manicure turned out nice though, and the price wasn't too bad. However, about 4 days after visiting, the white started chipping off! Gel is supposed to last weeks, and has for me in the past. Very annoying and disappointing! Will not be returning. read more

I was a walk in appointment and it took a total of 2.5 hours to wrap it up. When I came in I asked how long it would be to wait, they told me not long, that I was next. Fast forward to me sitting in a pedicure chair for 30 minutes with no water. The pedicure itself was subpar. My feet still feel rough and my nail tech did a poor job trimming and filing my nails. read more

Truly awful. Went in for a pedi around 11am on a Thursday and was told they had availability. Then waited almost a full HOUR for service while soaking in a water only foot bath ...the rushed technician made me bleed twice using the cuticle cutters on the edges of my nails! I could go on and on... Ultimately one of the sloppiest pedicures (gobs of lotion were left on my legs) I've ever paid for. Very unprofessional conduct as well...no need to understand Thai to know the two female employees were talking smack about some of the customers right in front of their face. Rude with no customer service in mind,not clean, reused file. always trying to upsell and when you say no the lady speaks in her language to other person (you know she is probably shaming you). The experience is NO experience, if you want a relaxing experience or spa feeling this is not the place. They can do so much better if they truly loved what they did for a living. my daughter and I have gone here a few times and been good regular customers and our last visit we were rung up by a new gentleman that works there and he over charged us greatly and when I brought it up to him he just kept blowing me off repeating the same prices over and over again when the clearly marked prices on the wall advertised were different. unfortunately they lost two good customers for lying about their pricing. read more

Horrible experience. I actually had to come home and cut my toenails after the pedicure because they barely trimmed them. They exfoliated with a Dremel and then the "massage" was a ten minute session where the technician did nothing but pound on my feet. Totally lazy. The place was dirty and smelled terrible. This was the worst pedicure ever. She whipped through it like a factory line and then took the separaters off too soon and it got all smudged. The only communication the whole time was her trying to sell me other things like waxing, deluxe this and that, etc. After I gave her the payment and hefty tip, she supposedly fixed the smudges, but really didn't and I will go somewhere else to have it re-done. She also did not cut all the nails equally short and I had to come home and cut my nails. I would not return to this salon again. read more

I have never in my life written a review before. I was so disappointed in my experience that I decided to take to reviewing. I took my three year old for a pre-vacation mani pedi. During my three year olds pedicure the lady gave her the dirtiest looks every time she moved which really wasn't a lot. Then she proceeded to tell me that she could not give my daughter a manicure because she moves to much and she could schedule my manicure for another time. She rushed through both of us. It was a true disappointment especially for a day that was supposed to be a sweet experience with my little one. read more

I have been a Linda's Nails customer for the past 7 years and I always will be. Cathy, the manager, is my technician and I have never been happier with my nails and toes. I get compliments all the time. All of the technicians are great.... friendly and competent. The shop is clean and being there is relaxing. Pedicures are as beautifully done as the manicures..... in big, comfortable electric massage chairs. My nails and toes are done with gel and look fabulous for at least 2 1/2 weeks.... until they grow out!!!! This place straight up sucks. Started off good. Didn't have to wait at all. The woman started my mani and I quickly realized she didn't know what she was doing to the point I took the file and filed and cleaned my nails myself. When she put the polish on she not only did a sloppy job but the polish itself was old and sticky. I made her take it off and I was about to paint them myself with a new color, but then someone else came over to help me and did a better job than the first women. The time I saved not waiting in the beginning was then wasted by them having to take take the polish off and re-do it 3 times! I'm not from Santa Fe, so I know I will never come here again. DON'T go here. I went to take my acrylic nails off. There were two women taking them off at the same time. One of the women was popping the acrylic off instead of soaking them. While she was popping them off she was using an acrylic nail. I told them to soak my nails. They started soaking them but continued to used a nail clip to try taking off the acrylic. Wow. Really bad. Don't waste your time or money. For starters, The scrubber she used was nasty and had no scrubber left on it it (see pic I posted). It was completely worn out. Are those cheap scrubbers really THAT expensive that they can't replace it with one that works? Think of all the other nasty feet it has scrubbed. Ew. Plus she scrapped the side of my foot so hard it made a mark. Even after I said "ow" a couple of times and told her it hurt, she just looked at me with a blank stare and kept going. Even with the language barrier, I think it should be pretty obvious if someone is in pain. Then she clipped my cuticles and skin around toe nails so far down they bled. Not to mention just the iffy paint job. It chipped two hours after getting it done. The place was dirty, staff was unfriendly. My daughter and I went home and soaked our feet in hydrogen peroxide. Praying that we don't get a fungal infection from that place. When I went to pay, she asked if I wanted to put a tip on. I shouldn't have tipped at all given the experience, but I said I'd tip three dollars for each technician. She actually questioned how much I was tipping and made a face. So unprofessional. A tip is a tip. And it's also a message. You don't ask questions, you just accept it and maybe if you want to get a better tip, you do a better job next time. read more

Went to this location (I've been to the one on St Michael's too - and LOVED it) for my 50th Birthday for a pedicure. It was great! Really reasonable prices, great selection of polish, comfy and fun massage chairs, very short wait time, very attentive staff, and very clean all around the inside of the shop! I'm not sure if this is the same place but if it is, they moved to St Mikes. Some of the other reviews are similar to what I witnessed. I have nothing to compare to as this is my 2nd pedi in 7 years. I didn't pay attention initially but I believe they did use the same tools without sterilizing. The staff was very friendly & nice and even fixed my toe when I banged it getting up from the chair (just call me Grace). There was no wait but started to fill up. One customer was a little upset because she asked for a specific woman to do her nails and that woman got up about halfway through and another took over. I was confused and she was upset. Anyway, it wasn't a bad experience for me but I do question the hygiene practices. I will go to another place in town to compare any differences. read more

I went there several times (it's the Linda's Nails next to Trader Joes) for acrylic nails because the location was close and the price was half what I've paid elsewhere. Many of the techs are fine but there are two that are sloppy and painful.....she used an electric file that went right through my nail and caused pain and a scars for months. They seem to know how to put them on but can't take them off. To avoid the electric file I soaked my nails for an hour and a half instead of the 15 minutes it should take. Some of the techs are fine with simple manicures and pedicures. read more

Quite possibly the worst manicure ever, and after being talked into this dual-color gel mani, and it came out globby and sloppy, the tech got defensive, saying "I TOLD you it wasn't a good idea!" I went in here for a mani/pedi last week. I'm not very picky when it comes to nails, but there's no getting around the fact that they did a horrible job. The selection of name brand polishes was very limited, so I chose a light grey OPI for my fingernails. My nails were crooked and rough in some places after the tech filed them, and my nails had gaps and streak marks in them. Granted, it was a lighter colored polish so it needed a thicker coat, but I would expect the techs to know that. I was in a hurry (and was going away for the weekend the next morning) or else I would have asked her to redo them. They chipped three days later-- when I do my own nails, they usually last at least 5 days, if not a week. Toenails have chipped already as well. Price wasn't bad- $30 for a regular mani/pedi, but I won't be returning. read more

Horrible, don't waste your time or money. Got gel extensions and they were bumpy, uneven, and see through. Asked for almond shape, woman made them square and cut me on three different fingers. Barely tried to shape the extensions at all and they look horrible, I made an appointment somewhere else to get them redone. read more
