We ordered three flavors of cupcakes for our event, Carrot, Lemon and Red Velvet, and all three received so many wonderful compliments from our guests, especially the carrot cupcakes! They were definitely the favorite. Ordering was easy, the person on the phone was pleasant to work with and knowledgeable. Pick up was smooth as well. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for their services. Thank you Lindmair for being part of our celebration, your cupcakes were delicious! The perfect amount of moisture in the cakes, flavorful frosting, and well balanced sweetness. Very happy with our order :)

I ordered a birthday cake from Lindmair after reviewing multiple bake shops in Riverside. They are located east of Van Buren in an older shopping center across from Stater Bros. Nestled in the back of the shopping center, their store is quant and down to business. Their service was clear every step of the way, straight forward and simple. I placed my order based on their recommendations and pickup was set for a few days later. Their prices were fair and realistic for being a custom bake shop. Upon arriving for my pickup, the cake was decorated, and ready to go. I went with a red velvet and cream cheese filling. Everyone at the party loved the look of the cake and how it tasted. I will definitely come back for all my cake needs. Keep up the great work!

Everyone loved the taste of the cake. I had white cake with lemon filling and whipped cream frosting. He was able to incorporate the theme of the party along with something about both parents. Just wow! My husband found this local bakery gem when he was looking for the perfect birthday cake. He ordered the strawberry tres leches cake based on one of the reviews and it did not disappoint - literally the best tres leches I've ever had. The kicker was that they were able to make the cake the book cover to my favorite book!!! See attached video. My husband came in looking for a regular cake but Lindmair was able to help my husband take my bday cake a step further and providing some creative ideas. Lindmair over here saving husbands plus my husband thought they were just going to draw a picture of a book they ask the image of my favorite book. Anyways so happy and excited to make it a tradition of getting our cakes here!

10/10 customer service 10/10 cake I called on a Wednesday for a Saturday pick up. Sent a picture of the inspo I had and they were able to recreate it. The confetti cake with fresh strawberry fillings was so good and not dry AT ALL. I wish I had leftovers!

I found Lindmair through Yelp as I needed to find a bakery near my work for a coworker's birthday. I originally placed an order for a quarter sheet cake over the phone with Dennis. I was very surprised that he did not ask for a credit card to hold the order. Not receiving a confirmation number, I was concerned that I would go to pick up the cake days later and would be told that there was no cake under my name. As a result, I decided to visit the storefront in person to pay as well as to order a larger cake. Plus I wanted to know where it was in case I was in a hurry when I picked it up. I ended up ordering a half sheet cake as I needed to feed 40 people. Lindmair is located in the Magnolia Plaza in the far left corner of the lot. I was surprised by how the operations were run. Very old school. The orders were taken on a plain piece of paper, no order form with the logo of the bakery; no computer input. You do not receive a formal receipt; only a small receipt with the total you paid. I was greeted by Dennis. I asked him how long the bakery had been in business for. He told me they opened in 1977. They must be doing something right to survived the pandemic. I ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. I picked up my cake days later. It was not ready but I was OK with waiting while Dennis finished decorating the cake. The decoration could have been a little more fancy but I like they decorated it in the color I asked for. Upon picking it up to walk to the car, the cake was heavier than I expected. The flavor of the cake was great. It was moist (I hate that word but it does describe it). But the filling was fantastic. I wasn't a huge fan of the buttercream. If I return, I will try the whipped cream. I received lots of positive feedback from my coworkers. Numerous people mentioned they would buy this cake for a party of their own. The cost was a bit higher than I expected but given that the cake was from actual bakery and not a grocery or box store, I was happy with the quality for the price. I like supporting small businesses. Bottom line - yes, I would buy again for Lindmair.

We ordered a 2-tier vanilla cake with fresh strawberry filling, and buttercream frosting for a baby shower, along with some chocolate cupcakes. The cake was very soft and the fresh strawberry filling made it taste really good, and everyone loved it at the party. The cake and the cupcakes looked gorgeous and it went really well with the rest of the decorations. We got the cake topper seperately and added it later, as a part of the decor. We highly recommend this local bakery for good quality cakes at reasonable prices, and for accommodating customized requests. We will definitely go back to order in the future! read more

I ordered a cake last minute, about two days before my birthday. The owner was nice and I was able to coordinate my order over the phone. I ordered a two tiered chocolate cake with cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting. I did not know what design I wanted and the owner suggested an ombré purple. My cake was ready for pick up at 1 pm the day of my birthday. The cake was gorgeous. The cake was also moist and delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here for future needs. read more

They saved the day ! I had previously did a trial with another baker for my wedding cake and I just lost hope and was completely disappointed. I didn't think I could have a black cake that also tasted amazing, then my MIL called and told me about Lindmair....well they exceeded my original vision and just blew the water! My cake was PERFECT, it tasted amazing, looked amazing! We ordered a three tier cake. White cake on the top and bottom, middle tier was white cake and chocolate cake mixed. Every vanilla layer had strawberry mousse with fresh chopped strawberries, every chocolate layer had chocolate mousse. First time customer! Will be ordering again! Weeks before the Covid-19 crisis hit, we had ordered a beautiful 3 layer cake for my In-laws 50th wedding Anniversary party. Since we were unable to have a large gathering, we asked the owner if he could downsize the cake for us. Ordered cupcakes and a 6" cake for my wedding. Communication was great from the beginning and he helped me decide what I wanted. I ordered my moms birthday cake from here amazed by all the great reviews, I had told the man on the phone to give it his artistic flair when decorating because I'm not too creative myself. Gave him rough guidelines (include flowers and some hearts) and honestly I trusted him with it and I was NOT disappointed. The cake came out beautiful! It was pink with purple flowers and hearts and it was everything I asked for and then some! The flavor I chose was tres leches with strawberries as fresh fruit filling and the cake was so moist and perfect!!! I grew up in LA amongst the Latino bakeries and lots of tres leches cakes to try from and this cake was literally the best out of all my years of eating tres leches. 12/10 would come here again I can't emphasize it enough. read more

We were planning a surprise 80th birthday for my father in law and wanted a nice cake that would go with the theme. We lived in NY, which made it a little more difficult to find a bakery. Nonetheless, we called around several places for a photo cake, and some of the prices were outrageous. We came across Lindmair on Yelp, and gave them a call, the owner went above and beyond in answering all of our questions, and trust me my wife can ask a lot of questions. We were also shocked at how reasonable the price for the cake was that he quoted. So we decided to place the order with him. We also need a "smash" cake for my daughters 1yr birthday photos which he also baked for us at a reasonable price, and my wife sent him a picture of the cake we wanted. When we picked up the cake, they had recreated exactly the pictures and designs we sent them of the cake we wanted. Also, the cakes were very very delicious and moist, everyone at the party raved at how tasty the cakes were, heck I'm eating the last piece of cake 1 week later after traveling back to NY with the leftover. Needless to say I would definitely come back here, and recommend this bakery to fill your cake needs. read more

I ordered a cake for my daughters second birthday. The only real idea I had was a picture from Google. I can't remember who I Spoke with but he helped me walk through the steps of the whole ordering and design process. He gave me ideas to make the cake a little more fun and child like as well as told me my best options as far as what to put on the cake and what would fit best for my party size. We ordered a basic chocolate cake with buttercream filling and it was absolutely delicious. Super moist and perfect amount of buttercream in between the layers. I believe we ordered a 10" round and we still have half a cake! It was 50$ as quoted and we will definitely be using Lindmair for our next party! Thank you Lindmair!! read more

I ordered back in January for my daughter's 3rd birthday and the guy who worked there was so helpful and nice! I ordered last minute (ordered on Wednesday) and I asked if it was possible for the cake to be ready on Sunday and he said yes they can do it. I was so happy because I knew I ordered it late but so happy he could do it. The cake was amazing!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BAKERY! I was shopping around in March for a birthday cake for my baby's first birthday. I shopped around and was quoted ridiculously expensive prices at some other establishments. My husband mentioned Lindmair as he had previously purchased a cake from them many years ago. I went in and placed an order a couple of weeks before my son's party. The staff was very friendly right off the bat. When my husband picked up the cake the day before my son's party, I wasn't 100% satisfied with it. So I text one of the gentleman and he was very apologetic and I was able to get a couple of things added. I feel like they went above to make a customer happy, which I truly appreciate. I ordered a chocolate cake with banana filling. It was so delicious! I will definitely be a returning customer. read more

My sister in law recommended me this bakery and I'm so glad She did! Originally I was going to order a cake from nothing Bundt cakes but then my sister in law recommended me this place a day before I needed the cake. I decided to take a chance and wait till day of and called at 8:30 am during opening time. The gentlemen who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful! This a mom and pop store on a small shopping strip accross stater bros, on Magnolia, between Van Buren and Adams. The place is outdated and in great need of remodeling. Do not judged this place just for the appearance of the place. You could find good looking cakes with great taste and prices could be half of other gourmet bakeries around the area. This bakery is made to order and you will not find cakes ready. They have cakes for every occasion. Prices very reasonable they can also sell cakes by sheet and all decoraTed. We were looking for a wedding cake and prices on gourmet bakeries around the area were ridiculous and cake flavor was terrible. Here we ordered a simple 3 layered cake with buttercream frosting and decorated with fresh roses. Cake look really good and cake was moist and delicious. The cake look good simple and fresh look. I would order cakes from this place anytime. By no means this is a bakery from food channel, but you can find Inexpensive option, for good looking cakes with good Flavor read more
