When we came to pick up the cake this is what we got (the round cake) and honestly was super disappointed in the cake itself because to me the colors are off, the handwriting is not as neat, and overall seems like the cake was rushed and no attention to detail was made. It looked like a Walmart cake . Super sad since this cake was for a special occasion and did not meet our expectations. And I wanted to mention they charged me $140 for this 8inch cake but I only paid half which was $74ish. I also want to mention they didnt have a proper box to fully protect the cake either. From my perspective, everything was set and moving forward. Fast forward to the week of my event, I followed up to confirm pickup--only to be told there was no order because they "never received my reply." I understand that technical issues can happen, but this left me scrambling last minute to find an alternative for an event I had been planning. While I did receive an apology, I was also told it's "unrealistic" to follow up with customers who don't respond. Unfortunately, in situations like this--especially when it involves custom orders and time-sensitive events--some sort of confirmation system or follow-up would go a long way in preventing exactly this kind of issue. Not to mention I only ordered a dozen of cookies and was still not accommodated after showing I did respond well in advance. Overall, this experience was frustrating and stressful. I can't speak to the quality of the cookies, but from a customer service and communication standpoint, this was very disappointing.

You can tell the passion and love in the donuts. They were all stuffed with cream and were not too sweet at all. My wife loved the peach one and I personally loved the strawberry pistachio one. Love the owner and really treated me well since this was my first time. Theres not really seating so you would have to take the donuts back home to enjoy. Communicated with staff via email and the exchange was delightful. They recommended two options for a smaller version of our original wedding cake and even accommodated a last-minute time change for pickup. Everyone who works there is so on-top of helping anyone in store it was very sweet. There's a reason why this small business has been around for decades! We chose the toffee cake with salted caramel icing. The cake was delivered as expected on time and looked like the picture. The cake was a bit difficult to slice but we were deliberate in selecting a cake to feed 64 people and didn't want to pay extra for a 2nd layer cake.
